I had the fortune to observe a mommy cat and her two kittens over ten days and I was completely moved. Cats seem to be a lot more intelligent than dogs and require much less "maintenance". I hope there's a cat in my life some day soon.
There's always a give and take. If you get a crazy cat who likes to scratch and hiss then good luck taking it to the vet or giving it a bath. Cats don't seem as needy as dogs though, so that's a good thing. Cats will not replace a guard or watch dog - I've always felt safe with a medium or even smallish(25 lb) dog watching my back. If you're lucky you'll get a mellow cat but no guarantees! You can however with training and exercise modify a rambunctious dog into a calmer more obedient one.
@@joet7136 cats can be trained as well, they learn quickly what shouldn't be done in a master's house. In most cases, cat's aggressive behaviour is shaped due to severe upbringing, sure there are just mean cats, who yell or knock stuff off tables, but again, they can be trained and that behavour won't harm a human. Meanwhile some dog breeds are meant to be aggressive, for chasing and hunting, and always should be muzzled when outside, no training can change that. Sure, cats cannot be guards or be of any practical service, but as companions they are more then sufficient

Baby: "Hello master. I come to entertain you."
Cat: "Leave me alone..."
Baby: "ok master" *sits back down
Cat:*goes back to watching tv
Baby: " I wuv you
Cat: 'FACE THE PAWS OF FURRRYYYY!!!"
cat was like
"hey kid! watch the fur!"
*smack smack smack*
I've never seen a cat hold so much resistance on slapping the s*** out of somebody
Cat’s like “okay, gotta keep the swatting paw strong in case this little human shit gets rowdy!” 😂
The cat knew that the baby was weak so it didn't swat at him with full force.
That baby looks so genuinely happy. That says so much about you guys as parents and aw human beings.
mom: Cat is in swatting position, baby come interact with her!
The cats sitting there like he’s just finished a hard day at the office
Knowing how strong a babies grip is, I wonder how pets survive these little monsters.
Kitty: there are moments you have to fight, and there are times you need to walk away from the situation
wholesome even cats understand that they are just kids so they give like a little taps nothing to hurt them
I had owned only dogs (now I have four) in my life, but the more I see cat/baby interactions, the more I love cats.
Adopt a cat. Cats are awesome.
"Less maintance" thats mostly true. My cat would leave me mostly alone all, he wont ask much attention from me. He also scared mouse away and was great at hunting cockroaches.
@@joet7136 you can buy a piece of wood for you cat. My fortunately was smart enough not to scratch anything heck he even popped and pissed outside the house everytime. Funny thing is that i never teach that, but his mom taught him when he was a baby.
It's crazy knowing this little baby is now 14 and going to high school. And poor kitty is probably passed on to heaven.
my cat hates children. She can sense their energy and didnt like it. 😂
Ignorant person letting the baby pull on the cats fur. And when the cat decides to go off..the cat will be blamed. Teach your child better😑
Yeah really fr
0:01 me when i see a cat
Kid annoys cat. Cat scratches kid. Kid gets an infection. Kid is given antibiotics.
0:57 Human: “Braiden, say Nice kitty”
Kitty looks back like: “Fuckin say it Braiden”.
What an adorable baby. I bet Braden grew up to be a gem.
He has one less eye because mom wanted clicks on her RUclips channel.
Yeah he got mauled by cats and now is heavily incontinent.
@@legitbeans9078 lol
Cats have better parenting skills than most people... That silly mother egging on the baby to annoy the cat, whilst the cat showed considerable restraint, eventually removing itself from the situation rather than escalate it, after it realised it was dealing with stupid humans instead of a kitten.
That's a big and fluffy Kitty ♥️
"Look, tiny human. I don't want to do this, but you are leaving me with no choice."
No danger, obviously a declawed cat.
Cats like "He's alpha, didn't even flinch!"
"Alpha". Lol the stuff plebs believe in.
@@nikhiliyengar1510 huh? I don't understand.
What's a plebs?
Cat be like: "GET AWAY FROM ME SHINING MONKE"
13 years from now, this baby is now teenager 😂
cat smart enough to get up and move before swatting too hard and getting in trouble
Please don't let your baby pull on the poor little cat's fur anymore that is not nice at all. also your cat was very good with your baby just patting his little head with it's very gentle paws 🐾
cat is like : "hmmmm u lucky thing ...her mother is watching me....."
That's a clean cat
Mommy wouldn't think kitty so cute if it would of scratched that kid's eye. U egged that on lady.
The cat clearly wasn't bothered enough to claw the kid. Calm down.
@@IntrovertedOreo People who can't even capitalise their own names shouldn't be taken seriously.
Reminds me of a video where these guys in the background egged on their dog as "brave" & laughed when it barked at & "chased" an alligator a couple of instances an one instance it snapped and caught the dog and dragged it to the water. The guys were all screaming in disbelief and anguish as though out of a couple of probabilities they couldn't fathom that a puny genetically tampered with carnivore could do much to an evolutionary relic almost a tonne in weight which is an apex predator.
@@joshadrale4415 because a dog getting mauled by an alligator is the same as a toddler getting soft pawed by a calm, slightly annoyed cat. Nice one
@@Deadpool1804 My argument is this is a cat. We know they bite and scratch people for more or less what the toddler is doing. John mentioned that the mom would then think it cute if the child is hurt instead of taking them away. I like that sarcastic remark, "What can possibly go wrong?"
The kitty was so respectful lol. "You're so lucky your mom is here, child."
The kitty knows it's a baby so she's being so gentle
Ive seen a baby get scratched in an eyeball this way. I will never understand why parents would allow animals to put risk to their babies by doing something like this.
Its simple, they are stupid...
So true! I agree.
I was cringing all the way through it, adrenalin pumping ... not only the parent allowed it, she was encouraging it by her laughing at it all, yikes!
Because they already declawed the cat so things like that can't happen
The cat is sitting there with his paw up like , You’re gonna learn today kid, then gently pats the baby and leaves!
Now this baby is almost a teenager 😂

Isn’t he 11-12-years-old now?
