    Question is it normal if it only smells when I first open it but weeks later, I don’t smell it in my room even though it’s not fully evaporated?

      I don't have a super in-depth video about it just yet, I can definitely make one though! In the meantime, this article can be very helpful and if you have any questions, just let me know!

    You can mix the base with any essential oil for candle ?

    • @candlescience

      Not all of them are approved for candle making but you can see which ones are here: www.candlescience.com/essential-oil/all-candle-essential-oils/

    I'm a newbie that loves your videos, but I have a question. I see that CandleScience has a list of fragrances "recommended for diffusers" but many are under 25% on the IFRA list. What is the qualifier for what makes your list? My assumption was it needs to have a number of 25% or higher to make your list. Did y'all test these fragrances and found that the throw was good at less than 25%? English Garden for example says 15.33 on the IFRA sheet, yet it is recommended for diffusers. Can you help me understand? Thanks! :)

      Hi, happy to help! We typically only list fragrances as being recommended for diffusers if they can be used at 15% or above. Most of the ones recommended can be used at either 15% - 25% with good results. You're absolutely correct that there are some IFRA approved fragrances for diffusers but because the percentages are low, we have found that they usually do not provide a strong throw. You can definitely experiment with IFRA approved scents for diffusers though!

    How do you ship this with USPS?

    • @candlescience
      @candlescience  10 месяцев назад

      We do not carry specific boxes for reed diffusers yet but many makers use boxes for the bottles themselves and package the reeds separately. They can be shipped via USPS or UPS!

      Are the cork tops strong enough to keep the oil from leaking during shipping?

      The base here will be the EcoBase Diffuser Solution but you could use a different one or experiment with a DIY recipe as well!

    So, only fragrance + oil base? No alcohol?

    • @candlescience
      @candlescience  10 месяцев назад

      You would not need to add alcohol to the base and fragrance mixture, the diffuser will be ready to use with just these two ingredients. The base itself is ethanol-free!
