Thank you! I REALLY liked this play through, even if I screwed up by drawing way too many Events... That trap, OH THAT TRAP! To this day, that's the most Victims I've lost in one shot.
Oooooo!! I could swear I read in the rule book that the left column continues to trigger. Well, in any case, pretty sure all those events really didn’t make much difference in the long run. Once those saws came out, and every one HAD to see them, it pretty much played out the way you’d think it would.
@Home Gamer Dad yeah but worth mentioning as I wouldn't want anyone watching to do it wrong or think they are doing it wrong. It's too much to manage that many events and messes with the variability, not to mention makes it a lot harder.
@@VanRyderGames Absolutely! I very much appreciate letting both me and anyone watching know! I’ll also take a few moments to mention it at the beginning of the next session I record. Thank you!! 🙏🏻
That was a real carnival of chaos. The events mostly impacted you negatively, so that contributed to your timely defeat. The good thing about you making mistakes is that I may not make them in my playthroughs.
Yes, do NOT make the mistake I made in this one 😳 While making for an interesting play, things would have gone a lot different should I have learned to not draw so many events. And that saw trap in the beginning didn’t help either…
It was the WORST possible outcome 🤦🏼♂️ I had a poltergeist/Creech Manor game that ended in about 4 turns, but this one will forever be the biggest massacre I’ve ever had…
I got the employee cart event card as well during my first playthrough and wasn't sure whether I'm allowed to transport victims with it during the action phase
I'm pretty sure you are (it is a vehicle so why not), but I don't remember the official ruling. The BBG boards are great for answering questions like that, also helps to know I'm not the only one that had those questions.
After you had te reveal your final health token and you got 3 hearts, shouldn't the killer fase have ended immediately? So you could've kept the 3 hearts I believe.
I got to double check, but yeah, I believe you are correct. Would have bought me a turn, even though I don’t think it would have mattered in this game 😅 In other games though, could me the difference between winning and loosing.
I think there should be Panic Phase triggered in 1st round by the one meeple killed in the forest due to the Event, so you should have all the meeples scattered before the spinning blade appeared and had almost half the population killed.
If a Victim dies, only the Victims in the same space as the dead Victim panic. There was only 1 Victim in the Forest space that died, so all those Victims in the House of Mirrors wouldn’t have panicked. Also, that was all during initial setup, so I don’t think there’s a Panic Phase during setup. Could be wrong, but even still, all the other Victims wouldn’t have panicked after that one Victim met their untimely end in the Forrest.
@@homegamerdad Victim in killer space will panic no matter how victim die in this turn or where victim die in this turn. you should check the rule book.
@@aiekta5924 Ok, here we go, page 23: Panic Phase - Victims panic IF 1) a victim died that round (doesn’t matter where or how) AND 2) are in the same space as the Killer. There you go. I’ll remember those two conditions for future sessions.
As a famous designer once said “I never look back, darling. It distracts from the now” 😅 My goal is to play each Feature Film at least once before going back and redeeming myself from disastrous sessions. So yes, one day I’ll revisit the carnival.
@@homegamerdad I second the idea of playing the Carnival of Blood again after you played everything else (which might probably be before series 3 lands). Perhaps with a different killer.
Another fantastic video. OMG this was so much fun to watch - can't wait to play this myself now!

You don't reveal a new event when bloodlust goes up at max, you only do the effect above the top line

Trap comes out…
“Oh noo…”
Event makes victims run to it…
“Lmfao!”
10 bodies turn 2… lol

You certainly roll a lot of sixes
I should pay more attention to the actual numbers I roll, generally just looking for those stars. Not that they worked out for me in the end… 😑
Oof... Think you'll be up for a 'Second Take' of this film? Because this attempt went pear shaped in a hurry!

It really was a CarniFULL of Blood 🩸
