It's so lovely to see different generations working and living together. It's so rare nowdays. You can count on each other. You really are an inspiration.
Thank you so much! It is always a challenge, but very worth it!
Carolina,I loved your voice over and your thoughts and descriptions. Profound. It added a completely different element to the vlog.
Oh my gosh, you are so very very fortunate to have a family to go walk with!! I would give my right arm. But they are all gone now. Such an empty sad world without them all. Enjoy, & soak up all these precious moments together. Envelop yourself in them, savor them. They end far far too soon! ❤❤❤❤
Just when I think I can't be any more impressed by your family, you prove me wrong. Self-reflection and the openness to receive "critique" from others takes courage, even if they are family. I especially applaud Maruca and Robert. The parent-child dynamics are so strong. It's not always easy to determine when your child needs you to respond as a colleague or a sympathetic adult or a parent. Caroline, thanks for sharing your reflections on your family in New York. I feel that you really needed that time away to be with them. I'm looking forward to the video where you share your final plans and timelines for the renovations. Thanks for another wonderful vlog!🍷🍾
So sad, but happy that Carolina was able to get away to see her family & probably recharge her batteries!! Gracious of you all to encourage her to go!! I'm certain everyone will appreciate each other all the more upon her return!! She is a very special person with a definite light that shines forth from within!!
I applaud each of you for working so diligently & honestly to continue working well & positively with each other & as a group!! The fact that you're so sensitive to these, sometimes, prickly issues between family members, says so much about your love & kindness towards one another!! Thank you for sharing your life experiences at your spectacular chateau with us & Season's greetings!! 🇺🇸
Carolina, what a treat to hear your narrative & see a glimpse into your home & family in Queens, New York, USA!! I truly felt the warmth & love you were missing so much!! Blessings!! 🇺🇸
A beautiful narrative, indeed…..so poignant & truly captured the bittersweet of life
"Finding a new equilibrium" and "accepting the challenge of starting anew. " Beautifully stated essence of your adventure in France! 🥰
Thank you, Carolina, for adding another dimension to the beautiful story you’re all creating together. I hope you soaked it all up before returning to the chateau ♥️ thanksgiving dinner looked delicious! Thanks for another lovely video!
You constantly impress me with your organization and teamwork
Maruka, what a lovely table setting & the food looked delicious! Penelope, good job on your contribution as well!! Any holiday is even more special when shared!! You were so gracious to open your beautiful home to others on a day to be very thankful, indeed!! 🇺🇸
The Lady of the Chateau, Maruca, is the elegant, sofisticated matriarch, the rock of the family,😊 while Carolina is the glue that holds things together with an energy that radiates from within and casts a glow around the whole family! ❤
Carolina, how profound; I cried, I loved you sharing. Hugs. ❤
Thank you for the most beautiful and enjoyable vlog…….the enlightening sharing of behind the scenes of how the team organise themselves in managing the Chateau and activities, maximising the qualities of each member; Carolina’s voice sharing her deep thoughts of her life; Penelope’s rumination that this is the first time for a long while since the family is spending Thanksgiving together; Maruca’s saying she does not want her guests to be alone on Thanksgiving….These are some of the parts that touched me😊
Love the Strength Finders information! It really helps you know your self and how you are “wired”!
Thanks a lot for a much-awaited video. It would be great to have the recipe for Maruca's orange cake. Love to you all.
Carolina, 'windars' was kinda New Yorker! Made me laugh! I have family all over NY, and cousins in Bellerose and Floral Park. Love the way you all work together. The strengthfinders approach is excellent and supportive. Looking forward to being there in 2024! Love this beautiful vlog!!
Merci pour ce joli partage ! Chaque saison a ses charmes, savourez !
I absolutely giggled with the winders moment, thanks for not editing it out!! The Thanksgiving menu sounded wonderful and evidently a keeper for future reference. Great episode. Thanks!
You work together so beautifully. The table looked so pretty and the food delicious. You're very creative. Thank you for sharing.🌸🌺🌹
Thank you so much 🤗
It was worth the long, very long wait. Great content.
Carolina, thank you for sharing your heartfelt sentiments about home, family and roots. I really relate with you. I have lived in the centre of Canada moving all the way to the east coast of Canada back to the centre of Canada in a different area and then way over to the West Coast of Canada but each move so rewarding, but difficult and challenging as well and in time you create family and friends outside your intimate family it does get easier. However, speaking a different language, and going to a different country all together is a surmountable experience added to the loss of closeness of families ties.💝 By keeping busy, productive and creative is your saving grace.
Julia I really relate with your family business dynamics it can be challenging not only living together, but working together tests your grit and love and acceptance of each other. Very rewarding to have someone show you the ropes how to navigate through this. Thank you for people out there who have mastered it and put this education out there. Building on each other’s strengths is a vital key and overcoming egos.
One lesson that’s very hard to master or apply is to never take your personal in to your business no matter how you’re feeling or what you’re feeling or what’s been said you keep that out when you go into business. It can be achieved but it takes constant vigilance of one’s self. It’s OK to mix business and social but never mix personal and business the personal must stay sacred. A formula for healthy relationships, good sound business and success.💞🌈🎄🇨🇦
Thanks for sharing your lives and taking us on your family walk, what a beautiful place to live.
I WAIT for you vlogs-they are the best of the ones I follow. I especially appreciate the candor, the pace which is relaxing with your particular music, and the integrity with which you ALL are approaching this fantastic project. It is truly amazing, as someone else has noted, to have a multigenerational team working together in what looks to be harmony (and if there are some kerfuffles, at least you maintain the boundaries between your viewers and any conflicts you are bound to have). Carolina mentioned how hard it is to adapt to multiple countries and languages (my words, not hers) but what a gift it is to have those multicultural experiences. I think those of us who have lived in other countries, who have had to learn customs and norms and nuances of another language, we are more inclined to see the world, people from other cultures with a much more open understanding, with curiosity and willingness to engage and learn from one another. Keep up the beautiful vlogs and maintain that standard you have set for yourselves-a cut beyond the norm!
Thank you for the lovely video. A sunday treat!
Outstanding on so many levels.
Beautiful video, thanks so much for sharing. Good looked delicious! Hope Carolina has safe travels back.
Happy holidays, sweet family. Joyeuses Fetes!
Same to you! Thank you :)
An outstanding production as always.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️happy birthday Maruca
Bonjour belle famille. Maybe next year all families can meet at your home. Glad you got to go home…..
It is so nice to see you all!! The caretakers house light up so magical!! With a touch of mystery!!!wow! You own a lake!! It looks so magical!! I think you all put on a beautiful family dinner!! I always say absent makes the heart grow fonder!! ❤ Lots of love from Tennessee ❤
Dear all, thanks again for the video and your "joie de vivre" ! You know, you should really enhance the "coussièges" (the French word for this sort of stone benches people used to carve within the walls just beyond the windows in the middle ages) : they are so beautiful ! Re-do of them places to seat with a book or whatever, enjoying the light and the sky 🙂 They deserve it.
And, dear Maruca, you are such an excellent cook ! You absolutely must find the recipe of the traditional Christmas cake and do it yourself : "La Bûche de Noël". I am sure you will do it perfectly well !
Enjoy the Advent !
I have missed seeing your family- thanks for another vlog ❤
The views outside were splendid. I loved Carolina’s thoughts on home. I have been away from New York for more than 32 years but whenever I visit I have the same feeling of being home even though much has changed. The things that are still there give me a warm comfy feeling.
I can see you doing workshops on how to create a successful business! I cannot believe how incredible all your skills are! All of you bring so much richness to the table. Well done and I hope you have a great Christmas. I look forward to your next episode. 👏👏👏
Everyone, as a team, you are the dream team. That was a beautiful Thanksgiving feast. Carolina, enjoy your time with your family in NY.❤

Love Clifton Strengths, I used this when I started as an author. Number 1 futuristic and number 2 strategic. Has been a game changer.
If only we had You tube smellavision , the table setting was beautiful and the food so wonderful, it looked like all enjoyed this special Thanksgiving dinner. Was a special time and thank you for allowing us to be your silent attendees, take care, good bless 👍😇🙏🏰🇫🇷
So glad you could spend a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends. The dinner looked yummy. Sounds like you will be very busy with retreats next year. Thank you so much for sharing. Safe travels for everyone.
Your Sister looks so much like her Momma! This is such an Amazing Family Journey!! Cheers…Bravo…God Speed🎉🎉.

Penelope with her feet propped up and wrapped up in a blanket looks so much like one of my daughters! "Wind-der" made me think of my grandmother. She would drop the "ow" of words when she was talking fast and it didn't phase her at all. We met an American Exchange student once in Germany in a tiny store and I really wish we could have talked to her more..she heard my husband and I talking to each other in the music section and almost hugged my neck when she heard our American English. Funny what triggers memories..good ones! Can't wait to see what you do for Christmas!
😅 in that moment we were all in various stages of a nasty cold, I just happened to be the most obstinant about holding a meeting in a chilly room; adjusting to a new climate has lead us to have more seasonal illness than typical.
We all have a hard time dropping our accents, sometimes we say wind-der, we also say sang-wich all the time. 😂
- Penelope
One of my daughters is always in a blanket and the other in a tank😁
I love that! And relate to both of them equally 😂
I love seeing what food you fix. It always looks amazing! And, presented so beautifully.
Thank you for sharing your Thanksgiving. I admire your approach of each individual’s talents in your business model.
A beautiful insight into more of your personal journey. Thanks for sharing. Celia
Yum...yum.

The Food Looked Amazing and The Table was Stunning. Lovely To See You All. Have a Lovely Christmas. Xx 🎄🎁🎅😘
Welcome back I love your vlogs. Don’t stay away too long
I am wholly inspired by you guys. I appreciate the honesty in discussing the challenges with such a venture. Hats off to whatever method works for you as a group. Merry Christmas 🎄
❤❤❤❤ great to be able to see how you all work to keep the chateau going❤❤❤❤❤❤ but I did not realise how much work you all do! I think you might need interns to not only help but they get to learn management or marketing skills, or how to maintain the garden of a chateau, or the renovation upkeep of the interior so it would help a painter/plasterer who wants to learn how to work on a project such as the chateau, they all get real skills which give them a reference letter for the workforce to enter into an apprenticeship role. Plus at your workshops you could get interns to help and learn on how to run these workshops, these are amazing skills to learn.
Even have interns to help with your social media/webpage, plus video so it takes a lot off your shoulders. An intern to help with the cooking for a young chef who can get experience working at the chateau for special guests and unique menu.
Well these are ideas from the places here at vineyards where they hold special groups and cater for them with young chefs.
J hope this helps❤️
So beautiful to see your mum so passionate about the delish food for Thanksgiving❤.

My mouth is watering hearing you talk about the chicken - any chance you would share your marinade for it?? Everything looked especially beautiful & welcoming 👩❤️💋👩
I was happy for Carolina being able to see her family. I found it very strange the way you ended the video . ???
Hi all, love watching your progress at the chateau.
You mentioned some time ago a booking system through your own website...
Have you looked at other businesses and other chateaus like de Laland and seeing who they used to set up the website booking system.
Best of luck to you all xx
We have!!! Ultimately we went with a system that specializes in retreats which has been really helpful so far.
Start a little farm on some of your land and raise 3 turkeys a year. Maybe even more turkeys to sell to other americans or canadians for our thanksgiving in october. Ideas.
I would love to know what Maruca’s skin care routine is!!
Still waiting on the chit chat get ready with me makeup video starring Maruka 💅 👄
Also was Penelope a “yeowoman” or just liked the shirt?
Can you share the recipe for the potato bites please.
CAN YOU SHARE THE ORANGE CAKE RECIPE ?? Gracias 💖
How did you not have an pumpkin pie or pea on pie for dessert
dont you have a large stock freezer to store ahead what you may find for meat..who would have thought turkey hard to get. maybe grow some or maybe ducks...
Does anyone have a recommendation for a similar vlog/channel that's based on latin america or spain?
