Even if I didn't like her home (BUT I DO!) I could listen to Katherine talk about it for hours. Or about anything, really. One of the best, calm, modulated voices around.
A wonderful home filled wth interesting art and colour. A mile away from the awful grey interiors one sees in Australian homes, especially the new ones. It’s almost as if people are afraid of colour. I have pictures and paintings and framed photos in my loo and a really saucy postcard which shows a cat lying over the fish bowl and a goldfish giving him a nice time. Strangely, no one has ever commented on it!!!!
As a paying member, I am begging with Homeworthy, more rental homes please. My rented space is curated with plants, books, and antiques so I know we renters can have good taste and afford fine things.
Thank you so much for showing a creative and beautiful rental space. I've wanted to cover a black countertop with a marble-look vinyl, and this is giving me courage!
Whilst I love this, having lived in rentals for YEARS, buying my own home was a godsend. Never having to worry about a place you love being taken from underneath you. Can truly make it mine. This is gorgeous though, fair play to this lovely lady making it so beautiful.
Brava Katherine. I will never understand why people don't feel like making your rental property a home is worth it. You've done an outstanding job. So much of what you done can be taken with you in principle and the rest that can't is worth the joy it brings. I don't agree that you are wasteful with your money, you are so open about how strategic you've had to be. A beautiful result 💛💛💛
I would HAVE to box in the brass pipe in the kitchen and finish the top cabinets with trim on the top and bottom. Cabinets look unfinished without them
Paint is pretty cheap. The curtains she can take. It’s only the cost of the sticker and vinyl work top wrap. If you are going to live your life in rented accommodation wouldn’t you want to make it feel more like home? Not many landlords would agree to this level of work being done though.
It is so refreshing to have interior ideas for rental homes; more of this, please.
Agreed!
Yes! 😁😁

Her voice and dictation is just as gorgeous as her home.
No way those bathroom tiles are stickers... what a fantastic job!!!!, they look like the real thing, beautifull refreshing home
I've watched hundreds of home tours and as on the Homeworthy channel this one always stands out as one of the very best
A lively and colourful home with lovely tips and ideas. Katherine has a very calm voice - great narrator.
She "cling-filmed" her entire bathroom. I think I may steal her brilliant idea. 😆
If you do, do every other tile not every one.

Great idea! More and more people are renting !
Do you read books???
Curating them is nauseating.
I agree!
Such a beautiful and creative home. The kids are lucky to be raised by someone like her!
Katherine has done an amazing job in this home. The hour-long Homeworthy (I'm pretty sure it was Homeworth) tour is totally worth watching too.

She’s extremely talented and creative…love her rental home ❤

Best home decor video ever. So many good ideas (renting art, commando strips, use of ticking). So positive. Realistic cost and good ideas
The bedroom is the stand out for me, love the green ❤
Cool. She's got a refreshing and sunny vibe.
Would love to know where I can get that vinyl from used in bathroom. Lovely home. ❤❤❤
Love this lady's beautiful home, style, and antique lace blouse.

I personally wouldnt put money into a rental, unless I'm getting a discount off rent. I wouldn't put my money into something that's not mine
I can't throw good money after bad , I've done this then had the property sold from under me after I've added value to the property
@@laurapearson3370 that's exactly what they're doing. Adding value to a property that's not even theirs
Your home really deserves a spot here in House Beautiful UK channel. 💯
I love everything, it's so nice to see an apartment with character, love the kitchen, colors!
Loads of character. Love it!❤️🤗
She has a beautiful home, but an AMAZING voice!
Wow beautiful design, just goes to show you what you can do with a rental, lovely home!
You have added huge profit to that rental for your landlord. I hope he appreciates it. It's beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️

wow...the kitchen colour is lovely..Ive done rustoleum ink in my kitchen but this looks green ? do you remember the shade please xx
I would HAVE to box in the brass pipe in the kitchen and finish the top cabinets with trim on the top and bottom. Cabinets look unfinished without them
beautiful.
What do you mean by vinyl
Nice...
Can I ask where the tiles are from? Beautiful
They’re stickers on top of the existing tile
Please the name of the artist of her favorite painting in her bedroom. The lady painting.
Hester Finch
Wow
Claire...it's french!
Very good 😂❤
😅
Davina McCall vibes😁
❤
This is beautiful but I cannot imagine putting that much into rental.
A lot of landlords wouldn't let you paint the kitchen cupboards and prefer everything to be neutral.
In holland it is very often not allowed to make big changes in rental houses, especially the kitchen.
Her landlord should pay her for increasing the rental value.
Love it. In Australia, you would never be allowed to do this to a rental property
It's pretty rare that you can do this to rental property in the UK.
@@pobstrel Totally! And also why would you spend that much money doing up a rental home? Some people have money to burn
@@fideovilm8448because it makes them happy.
I would be heartbroken doing all that then the rental get sold from underneath you .I have been there .

Who pays for all the renovations rhe landlord??
Why don’t you ever show the exterior of the home? It’s really annoying to look inside these homes but have no idea what they look like on the outside.
No where any *Blank space* , Sometime People irritate with all hangings n graffitti...
80% of this stuff is noting but decoration. So much stuff....
cmon can be 30 sec of aadvertisement for a video!!!! its a joke!!!! @youtube
