Biggest issue for me thus far has been finding a niche in the world that is inviting. From outside looking in it just seems like a very huge cultural adjustment in regards to collective thinking.
@@MarkellBaldwin Sorry I was wordy, I just mean there’s really not a lot of collaboration goin on . It’s almost like everyone assumes whoever speaks first is an expert and should be followed. I feel like that would be an adjustment for me.
Oh. I understand. I think that definitely varies company to company. And I’d say even within a company there is variation. It sounds like you’re saying some companies want people to assimilate vs. getting diverse perspectives and methodologies. I think you can learn about a company during the interview process. There are definitely frameworks and hard skills that are encouraged and they look for, for better or worse.
