Flying to St Martin | Air France A330 Business Class Across The Atlantic

- Back in the summer, Air France/KLM had some bargain business fares to the Caribbean, so I thought I might as well take advantage of one.
Starting off at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, I flew in their A330 business class to St Martin / Sint Maarten, famous for its airport that begins at Maho beach.
I had heard good things about the business class product on Air France, and I wasn't disappointed, as you will see in the flight review.

I worked for a cruise line and we sailed to Sint Maarten (St. Martin) on a weekly basis. But my shifts were very bad and I never had the chance to go to Maho beach, the place where planes land near the ocean.
CDG T2 alone has 98 jet bridges therefore it is amazing that some customers need to be shuttled to board a plane. Anyway, it is quite an adventure to get a ride driving among planes, in my humble opinion.
4:55 Very well pointed out Tony. This is rather unacceptable, these days, with so much technology. Many laptop screens have filters to prevent this reflection. This technology is around for quite a long time so there is no excuse for these airlines.
11:45 Not very low over Maho beach. And what a bumpy touching of the tarmac!
It was fairly low over the beach, the wide angle lens made it look higher. Hopefully, one day you'll get to the beach without work getting in the way. Thanks for your comments.

I used to collect a bunch of those amenity kits in the mid-2010s when I flew international a lot. I'd be sitting in Economy and would grab 'em from First/Business as we deplaned LOL! Never had an Air France one, though.

Some of these items are precious, especially the vintage ones and folks sell them online!
Great video! Did you find the seat a bit tight around the shoulders? It looked a bit narrow! Isn’t it amazing that Air New Zealand, Qatar & Air France can manage windows in their toilets, yet BA can’t - I used to enjoy the spectacle in First on a 747… which leads me on to the hot towels, if AF can manage it, surely BA should be doing it again now…and the starter served separately…I could go on … 😂😂😂
Yeah, the seat is tight around the shoulders, ok if you're a side sleeper though. And yes, service is great on there, I think BA are struggling with staffing levels which is why it's not back to full service yet.
