Hello! This is not related to the video or comment but I really need an answer. I think I have 2a/2b hair but if I have 2a (Cause my curls look like yours) hair type, should it be frizzy?
Fiiinally someone who has wavy hair that isn't very thick. I feel so insecure about having fine hair since I never see anyone with it, so thanks for this video, I'll give it a shot
ONE SINGLE TRY with your routine here and my hair is gorgeous today. By far the best routine and technique I've ever tried, and I've been looking and trying for 2 years.
This video got me wondering if my hair might be wavy and that I might have been styling it wrong all my life. Yup. Literally life changing realization girl. 😂 Thank you SO much for this tutorial, my hair is so happy and so healthy with proper care now.
yay finally someone with my hair type i’ve been trying this curly girl method but it’s just such a mess and i don’t feel comfortable to wear it usually but this seems super wearable and like tidy haha thank you!!!
if you don’t have a denman brush i just twist my hair sections tight and hold them for a few seconds and i get the same effect . LOVE this routine works SO GOOD for my (super) thin wavy hair thank u for sharing!! :-)
One thing I've learned after all these years (I'm 61!) is that my hair's waves have a definite direction they want to curl. I now work with that direction it naturally wants to go and that is forward! And here I have always curled the backwards or, away from my face. I was actually working against my natural waves. My hair is just like yours but around my face the waves are tighter and the back top of my hair is more of a bend than a wave.
@@andreventurrr is that link u gave us for the den man brush the same one u used? lots of the reviews said it was a fake denman brush so i was wondering if u thought that the brush was good or not off amazon :)
I watched so many wavy girl routines, but all of them seem to have so much hair. Mine is fine and low density, I haven't fully transitioned yet.. but I always call it Ramen Noodle hair 😅 Gonna try and get the brush and see if I can get larger clumps
this routine is so helpful cos we literally have the same curl pattern but my hair is just thicker. i rlly wanna buy a denman brush i think it’ll be a great investment for my curls
Just awesome.. I can't tell you that how much you helped me through this video.. this a complete detailed video on CGM ..my hair type is just like you..I hv very thin hair .. thank you so much girl.. ❣️
@@jnorth9702 thank you! Sadly I’ve abandoned the idea of the wavy girl/curly girl method because I found this heatless styler called Octocurl that gives me great curls for days and I don’t have to worry about touching my hair. I can even brush it!
THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO. Also, if you don’t mind me asking, do you shower at night or in the morning? Because I have to be at my school before 7 so i don’t really think i’ll have time to do this in the morning but I also feel that if I do it at night, when I go to sleep the curls will mess up.
I tried it but my waves really dont like denman :( like once i use it to brush they dont clump and they just all separate in single hair and look terrible. I wish it worked for me some way because i see it brings great results for wavies!
i do have a very similar routine, however, whenever i airdry my hair it seems like the waves weigh down too much, and in the end its barely wavy. does anyone have some advice for me? i keep scrunching with a microfiber towel when that happens, but after having to scrunch like 5 times and looking in the mirror after a few minutes and it all bring weighed down again i just stop trying lmao
Maybe you need more hold in your curls/waves. So i would recommand a curl cream or something and afterwards you can use gel. I use selfmade flaxseed gel. After let it dry(!) You can either diffuse lets say the last 10 % of moist or you can airdry all of it. After its completely dry you can scrunch the cast away and voila:)
Do you brush your hair after showering? I now brush my conditioner through in the shower so my hair doesnt need brushing when I come out and my curls come out better like that..
I have to wash my hair every day so I do it every day except every now and then that I decide to take a break like on weekends if I’m not going anything :)
@@andreventurrr people with high porosity hair tend to have hair that gets wet almost immediately in the shower. People who have low porosity hair are the ones that have to wait minutes for the water to “penetrate” into all of their hair. This is a good way to tell your porosity type!
@@Mimarre oh nice!! I just went to get my haircut and I’m pretty sure the stylist told me I have low porosity so it makes sense because my hair gets wet fast! Thank you:)
@@andreventurrr i get ya, but the grass isn’t always greener unfortunately 😭 I I can’t seem to apply enough product in my hair and so when my hair dries, it is frizzy 😞 or at least that’s what I think is causing the frizz 😅
I actually started brushing out my hair with that black skinny comb to give a more smooth look right after I’m done removing the gel cast. Then I’ll brush it out again right before I wash my hair, which is everyday for me :)

Aww my pleasure!!! And yeah I feel you! Before I found my own way of doing it, it always ended up looking messy and I wasn’t a fan 😆
Girl, finally someone who has fine waves! I've tried at least a dozen different curl products that are to heavy. Getting a Denman brush today
I hate my 2 curls because it’s so hard to actually get them to show they get straight so fast like one wrong move and boom I got straight hair
SAME
Okay mood 😂😂😂
Yea have you found anything that works ?
mine doesnt become straight but its like wavy but so straight down idek what im saying
Hahaahah
THIS right here is my exact hair type! And you style it without heat *chef’s kiss* can’t wait to try this routine

Thank you I'll try this 😇

this tutorial is one of the best out there 🧡 little volume tip i use while air drying is to clip my roots up with alligator clips :)
Omg I’ve been thinking of doing that!! I just keep forgetting but definitely! Thank you 🤗💕
Randy!! How do you put the clips in?? I’ve been struggling to know how, but I get where you’re talking about .
without heat? guuuurl 😍😍 this was impressive, I'll try it this weekend 👯👯
Thanks to you I think I found out that I have 2a hair like you. If I do not have my perm it likes exactly like yours.

Oh wow!! Thank you 🥲💕💕
we have the same hair type!! how do you refresh your curls on days u don’t wash your hair?
Omg this would've been useful before chopping my long hair, I never found a video like this, maybe I'll let it grow again
Awww 🙈
Thanks so much for this video! We have similar hair and I haven’t been convinced to try that brush until I saw this. You have the 7 row verison right?
So glad to hear this! 😁 and yess that’s the one I got but I actually took out 3 rows and I like it like that better
Amazon sells a 5 row Denman brush.

Yes I’d like to know the answer to this as well! Thank you so much for the video! And thank you Gisele for the question!
If you plop your hair all night in a tshirt it won't mess up the curls and will enhance them.
@@musicchick581 Thanks!
How do you sleep on your curls? After I shower my hair has lots of volume but once I sleep on it my curls are just waited down and flat.
Plop it up into a tshirt or satin scarf
Do you like these curl styling products or the other brand in your other videos better?
I’m a guy. But we have the same hair. Let’s give this a shot ;(

What shampoo/conditioner do you recommend for this hair? I've tried shea moisture and I leaves my hair looking too oily :(
I use Vichy Dercos Antidandruff and Energizing shampoos :)
This was great! Thanks :)

What can you do without the Fe man brush
Very nice. Thank you
Glad you liked it 😁
could i just scrunch my hair can i not use the denmen brush?

Do you do this routine every day or only when you wash your hair?

What’s your hair type? I have low porosity hair and struggle finding good products that don’t weigh my hair down :(
I actually don’t know the porosity of my hair. I just know it’s super thin and I have oily scalp

Use products without silicone and sulfates so it doesn't weigh down.
I’m confused!! What’s in the pink spray bottle?! 🥺
Should be just water to keep the hair wet for styling
What haircut do you have, if you don't mind me asking?
Mmm not sure if it has a name but basically I just ask to get it cut in layers
