- if you have wavy hair, or hair dries kinda straight but not really, if it dries "frizzy" then this wavy hair routine is for you!
Products linked in video and on here too: hoo.be/andreventurrr
Finally, someone in this world with exactly the same hair type! So happy.
😁😁😁
I have adhd so making notes to keep track
1. root lifting spray
2. leave in conditioner
3. curl cream
4. denman brush
5. microfiber towel to scrunch
6. diffuse
7. comb out curl clumps
8. hair oil
9. pomade (adds shine, reduces frizz)
10. Hair spray
Thanks!!♡
OMG THX FOR WRITING IT DOWN !!
You’re a saint 😭
I actually love when you comb out your hair because like you, I have fine hair, and it adds the look of so much more volume/thickness!
This works so well for my hair type. I’ve started to just twist with my fingers tho for ease and it does the job just as well
For me. Best part is day 2 looks just as good.
When I used to scrunch my hair it only looked good on day 1- it turned into a lifeless stringy mess overnight. I think type 2 wavy hair just thrives on this technique, it needs to be put into these curl clumps and it naturally holds the pattern
Girlllll we literally have the same hair type and the same length too😭🫶 I'm glad I found you!!!
Yay! I have fine waves too and it IS such an underrepresented hair type! Thank you for making this tutorial! I can’t wait to try it.
Thank you so much! This is the only wavy hair tutorial that works for my hair! Love you so much, you're my hero!! ❤
Excited to try combing and smoothing my waves! Everytime myself or hairstylist tries to define my curls i just think it looks frizzy and stringy
My hair became wavy/curly after my hysterectomy because my hormones are FINALLY normal but I’ve had no clue how to handle it thank you for this video
i know that this comment is from 5 months ago, but i’ve recently had massive hormonal changes due to recovering from an ED, what made you see your hair become wavy if you don’t mind me asking? was it just one day it was wavy, or did you try a wavy routine and realize it worked very well??
Thank you for making this video! Ive never known to take care of my hair and always had to treat it like it is straight when it isnt due to other curly and wavy hair routines not working for me. Hair representation is important!! Thank you sm! ❤
hello! do you have low porosity hair?
How long does it last ?
Hey does is roof lifting spray necessary ? Cause i'm kind of on a budget so..
Hi, I rarely see people with hair like mine !! My hair can be very wavy, especially at the mids to ends and isn't very thick, but also not too thin. It has a mid-porosity, yet my ends aren't as healthy as I would wish for :). Does anyone have any product-recommendations, that aren't too pricey and available at drugstores?
Another question: What are the most important products for your routine? I wanna start with hair care a little, so it can be healthier. But since I'm not an adult yet, my mom has to pay for this kind of stuff and I don't wanna go over-budget.
I'd be super grateful if anyone could help me :)) Have a great day or night and stay safe !!
Also starting my hair journey ! Just letting you know in advance if you’re not an adult or even a young adult, your hair pattern can change as you get older so try to get products for both wavy and curly if it’s curly now for example. I would research into dupes for the products if I were you 😊
@@jemimasyoutubee Thank you for answering! That's actually a good advice, everyone should follow I was never planning on buying the products hair-influencers use, since they're way out of budget haha. I just wanted to get a good shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, oil and one product to hold waves. My only goal is to have healthy hair !! Good luck on your hair-journey, sending love and of course succes :)
Thank you! ☺️ I would definitely get all of those products too!
Hey that's super great that you want to start out caring for your hair 💗 I really, really recommend starting by figuring out your scalp type (for example dry, oily, sensetive,... keep in mind it can also be dry + sensetive or oily + sensetive at the same time), next your hair porosity (this is a bit hard to figure out, but generally healthy hair = low porosity, damaged hair = high porosity. Most people have low porosity from roots-lenghts, and medium-high porosity at the ends, where we often accumulate spliss or other damage.). Next I'd try to find out your wave pattern (just take a few, not only one!, wet hairs that fall out when they are still very wet from washing before you add any products and lay them out on a flat surface to dry. This way, they will dry in their natural wave pattern, and you can compare them with charts online. We use multiple hairs here, because we can have different wave parterns on our head.
Once you've figured out your scalp type, hair porosity and wave pattern simply you can simply search (according to your results) "oily scalp low porosity 2C hair routine" and watch a few videos to get the general idea how to care for your exact hair type. You can also simply google ingredients that you should look for in hair products matching your hair type.
A great video to start out your hair journey was recently uploaded by Dear Peachie's channel, it's very detailed and helpful and will make you less confused! I also really recommend checking out Abbey Yung's channel, she often recommends drugstotre products and actually cares about hair science and has a look at the ingredients, and explains what the ingredients do to our hair. I also really recommend Abbey Yung's videos about Silicones and Sulfates, since there are a lot of misconceptions about these ingredients online.
Sorry if that was a lot of info haha, but I'm sure you'll figure out what works for you this way! Also, have trust in yourself and your own logic and judgement, sometimes products that work wonders for others just won't work for you and vice verca. Haircare can often be a lot of trial and error so don't be disappointed if you can't find the best routine rightaway
@@makkachin9614 Thank you so much for taking all of this time to write this haha, I appreciate it !! These tips are extremely useful for me and I'll follow them for sure, when figuring out my hair routine for 2b-c hair. I feel like especially identifying your scalp type can be pretty hard, luckily my porosity was easy to figure out :) May I ask what kind of products you use? I've been pretty unsure whether products like leave-in-conditioner etc are actually necessary or just used by hair influencers... Again, thanks so much for your comment, have an amazing day
Great video! I’d love to know what shampoo and conditioner you enjoy using.
love this! finally a routine that's simple enough to start. I went to open the link in your bio to check out the products but it doesn't seem to be working :( just letting you know
Love your hair! Do you no longer use the NYM products?
Are they any drug store alternatives? Some products are above my budget. Also, are there any products listed that are worth purchasing over drug store?
Yes!! Not your mother’s 😁 I got my fav products from them linked here hoo.be/andreventurrr
I have similar hair and like Giovanni.
@@megnelliWhat products do you recommend from them? I’ve only ever tried the conditioner
Umberto Gianni gel is good and so is curlsmiths air-dry cream
S.T.U.NNINGUH! Trying it right now! I think this will be my go to!
I love this, your hair seems to be exactly my hair type! I have a question though, my curls seem to all curl in one direction. Does yours too? Should I follow the natural direction or is it ok to make them go backwards?
Can you please say what kind of cut you ask for? I’m trying to look for the video where you do and I can’t find it 😢
ruclips.net/user/shortszCQTrGsAMjs?si=sAuh4HNUIAtA29wT
This is one of her shorts that talks about her cut
What can I do about my super stringy and frizzy curls around the crown of my head? Near the bottom of my head, my curls are defined, but at the crown it always looks so bad.
Awesome! how often in the week do you wash your hair?
Every day 🥲
I recently did a wavy hair routine bc I had a lot of curls when I was a kid. Help a girl out tho😭🥺 it’s so strange bc idk what to do are u supposed to brush it after ur hair wash as in days following or not bc idk what to do and which hairstyle to wear to bed. @@andreventurrr Bless u thanks❤️❤️❤️
thank youu ♡
Does this work with 2C hair type?
Girl your hair is gorgeous! How long does the style last between washes?
Aww thank you!!! And I have to wash my hair everyday so the longest I’ve had it is until day 2… but if you can go longer without washes I would assume it lasts at least 3 days
@@andreventurrrsame its too fine to not wash. And less I use product the better. But this process, I don’t even curl it with a brush and it takes forever for me. I’m more of 2A waves though.
Happy Birthday dear Poonam di❤🎉
How can i do the curls with the brush?? Because i tried it but i didnt get the same results and my hair just came out kind of frizzy.💗 I dont have fine wavy hair i have thick wavy hair so what should i do?
Try smaller sections around half the size, and brush out with a tangle tweezer or a wider brush maybe even the Denman. Mine is kind of medium to fine but I’m trying out the technique
@@jemimasyoutubee Thank you so much I really needed it💗
U can also try following someone elses video, someone who hair hair of ur type cuz u might damage ur hair if u keep following the wrong routine
@Lalala4527 ooh well I'm not doing the routine, I was trying to do the technique she did with the brush but thank u tho!
@@sofia-4526 oo okok ye I've heard ppl say it's hard to do the brush curl thing
What's the pomade please? Says products linked in video but can't see them
here you go :) amzn.to/3XVocIH
@@andreventurrr Thank you!
Does the pomade make your hair feel sticky or stiff? I've never used one before but I like how shiny it made your hair!
Not at all! It leaves it soft ☺️
@@andreventurrrIs it a thick texture and do you do a clarifying wash after using it? (I am aware you wash your hair daily, but is it okay to use if I re style my every day but don’t wash it every time?)
Lo haces rapido 😊 te queda bien suave eso si lleva sus tratamiwntos bien usados 🎉
🤗
What brush are you using?
She is using the DENMAN BRUSH...looks like the #3...
Can i skip diffuse and let it air dry??
Yes. Thats what i did (since i dont have a diffuser) and it turned out the same!
❤❤❤
wavy hair looks like this even after normal washing and combing. if you have to brush them out then what's the point of doing so much shit
I also always brush it out🤭
So glad I found you. I was just about to give up 🥲
