I FINALLY finished my TURBO RB30 VN COMMODORE engine bay! Oil catch can and fuel system complete.

  • This week I was finally able to stand back and look at the completed engine bay of my RB30ET VN Commodore but not before putting another 20 hours in to it... This week I fabricate a catch can and finished the fuel system ready for start up. this is such a satisfying part of the build seeing all the effort start to come together.

    The top fitting on the steering rack is the high pressure line from the pump.. if using the factory lines theres a bracket that on the lines to seperate them, can only go 1 way from memory.. can take pics for you if needed mate 🤙

    Double check the intercooler outlets aren't blocked off have seen some with plates in there

    Top fitting "small" is high pressure 100%

    Big fitting is return m18x1.5, small fitting is feed m16x1.5

    I have an RB30 Clutch Fan, you can have it for free mate. Edit, never mind your way past that point now ha ha! Great video man, I'll send you a few pics from the Manual.

    What size turbo you running, and what are looking to get out of it

      76mm compressor wheel (t76 on eBay) so way too big for what I need but I’m over compensating for the poor quality turbo 🤣 I’m wanting 500hp out of it for now.
