- This week I was finally able to stand back and look at the completed engine bay of my RB30ET VN Commodore but not before putting another 20 hours in to it... This week I fabricate a catch can and finished the fuel system ready for start up. this is such a satisfying part of the build seeing all the effort start to come together.

It’s gone from a budget steamer to a full blown quality steamer, and I like it 👌❤
For someone not knowing that engine bay looks like it belongs just like that great job mate!!
Looking good 👍
Great work Jarrad this VN has come up very well.
Love the work
Awesome ‘budget’ build brother🤣 From someone who owns a VL turbo and VG(VN) Commodore Ute…I’m loving this conversion👌
The top fitting on the steering rack is the high pressure line from the pump.. if using the factory lines theres a bracket that on the lines to seperate them, can only go 1 way from memory.. can take pics for you if needed mate 🤙
Agreed, that looks bloody good and I'm impressed with your fabrication skills. Hope the old girl runs well.
Double check the intercooler outlets aren't blocked off have seen some with plates in there
Try out the vgg shine juice
Dish scourers to the rescue
Top fitting "small" is high pressure 100%
Big fitting is return m18x1.5, small fitting is feed m16x1.5
I probably should have looked that them before I asked, I would have seen they are different threads 🤣😅
@@klingbergmotorsport haha atleast you know now 😂
I have an RB30 Clutch Fan, you can have it for free mate. Edit, never mind your way past that point now ha ha! Great video man, I'll send you a few pics from the Manual.
nothing worse than having to put three bungs in ya dump pipe
What size turbo you running, and what are looking to get out of it
76mm compressor wheel (t76 on eBay) so way too big for what I need but I’m over compensating for the poor quality turbo 🤣 I’m wanting 500hp out of it for now.
