I just picked this up for $20 physically, played it for about an hour and that's enough for me. First off, the massive update caused the game to soft lock so I had to delete my save file and start again. The frame rate and glitches are unforgivable. I blame the devs for this not the system. The Switch has many games far more demanding than Ary and they run just fine. I like the idea of this game and the main mechanic is fun. But if it's a Zelda clone you're looking for go try the Oceanhorn games. They're fantastic.
It’s weird that this game doesn’t work well on Switch while perhaps it is the best environment in which they could launch a game like this. They focus on playstation or pc where nobody is going to buy this game.
Alex Drake no sorry. I don’t think so. Pc player base is much more bigger than switch owner base. But I think, from my perspective that pc owners are playing a different kind of games witch are not platformers. And I think the same regarding playstation and its audience. You bought it, it’s ok. I’m not saying that they are not going to find any audience on pc or playstation. I’m saying that a good development for switch and then upgrade the game for the rest of the platforms should end being better exclusively for these kind of games.
I agree that this game feels like it'd be a home on the Switch. Between the ps4 and switch edition, I'd prefer the switch one. But, looks like I'm getting it on ps4, assuming it even works on there
I prefer the original artwork, don't like how the 3D models or environments turned out. That combined with it being a glitchy mess on consoles means I'll give it a miss unfortunately, nice concept
I really wanted this for switch, but I see your points. :( Maybe I'll look at reviews for the PS4 and get it for that, but I was hoping to play it handheld.
did you play with the 4go patch ? the team is working on another patch for the game and the patchnotes says that it will correct a bug that makes the game lag if you start the game in docked mode, for now best thing to do is start the game in handheld then put it back on the dock to avoid the bug. I'm playing it since yesterday didn't get any big bug and framerates is good so far may be in the later part of the game, but I really like the game.
Ok 5h in the game and a lot of bugs but did a temple and got the slingshot and now a game breaking bug everytime I try do leave the temple the game crashes, there was clearly 0 QA for this game it's unbelievable and I finished deadly premonition 2.
After seeing certain (impossible ports on switch) I wonder..... is it switch struggling Or developers struggling to fine tune and compress to make games look and run nicely on switch
Wow this looks nothing like the trailers they had I am so glad they raised the pre-order price of this game by $10 and cancelled my order for me, this is absolute dogshit
ps4 version a unfinished mess and buggy af and fps/pop in/screen tears/bugs.... So sick of all the broken games. This nonstop all this gen but last few years so bad. Sick of supporting with wallet....
*Dude, WTF! @**2:41** you said the Switch version greatly reduces "draw distance", but they reduced a LOT More than just that! Besides the fact that the grass & tree's look so much worse on Switch, many objects like rocks/stones etc are gone Completely! & even just looking at the characters animation, on Switch your character moves like a robot! But on PC its smooth, looks realistic. Basically they couldn't have DOWN-graded this ANY more than they have!* Whats worse is just look at games like The Witcher 3, as its literally 500% better looking & more detailed & its an actual "open world", & was never designed for Switch but runs great.

Thank you. I nearly purchased this for my little one.
Same thought about it recently as well for my brother ain’t gonna do that. Game is trash
The First boss is really hard you have to attack him in a special way and the story is like Mulan but with seasonal powers and a missing brother
Why does a simple weather effect make it lag?
Great review. Hopefully they can patch the game.

runs bad on all
@@crunchoyt All game types loved on pc why they say pc master race nonstop....

That's not true. Since the Switch version is behind, I'm very likely going to get it on PS4 (or Switch it they put out a good patch).
Il try overclocking my switch and see if i can get the frame rate a lil better.
I got this game today from Amazon for $5.50 shipped, new. Maybe a few patches will help this game
Did you use point? It’s been 19.99 for the last 2 days

ps4 beyond broke too...
@@fnl4eva269 Thanks for letting me know!

From the get go Nintendo should of made switch more powerful and larger internal memory
And this is why there isn't even a video on eshop on this game.
After seeing certain (impossible ports on switch)

Yeah, this entire video reeks of poor optimization for me. It’s a shame, because the concept of changing seasons sounds cool.
Breath of the wild is a more ambitious and beautiful game with minor performance issues. This game is just really bad optimized
@@AKAslayer101 BOTW was also a terrible game though.
@@dnznznfjsnsnsms9996 Trashing BOTW and not getting dog piled on.... What is this witchcraft?!
I wonder if its a deadline thing. I feel everyone is trying to rush their games for distribution and then patch them once its out the door.
I’m disappointed I wanted to buy this for switch 😐
Im disappointed i bought it for 40$
Same. Thank god I waited to see how it held up on the switch

Is it still buggy and glitchy? Is it worth playing these days?
I’m wondering myself
What is this frame rate
Ok

Witcher 3 has better frames then this lmfao
tis games looks zo bad for 40 euro. it would be 5 euro or something. this looks like a ps2 game
5 fps
Tried it myself. This must be the most atrocious port on Switch.
looks like 10fps xd pass for me
I’ll pass
If into the game, just buy elsewhere
all platforms really broke so whatever tool....
Why does she kinda look like a boy tho
There are better looking games than this i'v the switch, so it's probably a bad port, not a fault of the switch.
Aside from when her hair was down, this girl looks like a boy. I kept having to remind myself that it's a girl. Hehe
Thanks for saving me $40. This game looks like a disaster....like most switch games on the marketplace
