no shit right. the whole time I'm sitting here thinking which of my neighbor's low riders I should take but then I'm like wait why do that I'll just go buy my 2 year old son a cheap power wheel knock off and let him do it, and the cheap ones just like the four wheeler one I got him has one wheel drive.
I know he could and he walk up to the people in the Chevy afterwards with the plastic keys and drop them and say "owned" then walk away with a strut. He's kind of a little smartass with his daddy's attitude. Not to mention ahead of most kids his age. I've had people ask me if I lie about his how old he is.
Wow! I have no dog in the hunt, my pickup is a Ford. That will be my next truck! I had planned to buy out my leased Colorado in a few months as it's been totally trouble free, tows extremely well with great mileage and power! But the ZR2 is just awesome!
danthebig__Z :v only if the diesel becomes available in the Ext Cab model would I consider it. Cause I feel the gas engine is very good to begin with! Plus the newer gas engine has more power and eight speed trans now. TFL has a video of a comparison of a gas vs. diesel Colorado, the gas was faster going up the Ike Gauntlet and had plenty of power, but the diesel did get better mileage and seems to be more relaxed and at lower rpm than the gas, on a long trip that is helpful. But we plan on doing a lot of traveling with our travel trailer in the near future. Even though the tow rating on the ZR2 is lower than the reg truck, my trailer still is no where near the limits at 4,000 lbs. We will be going to places that having the extra off road capability will be great, even though the Z71 has always brought us through! I just like the look, plus I'm sure a ZR2 will ride better in every circumstance. The only equipment I see that come with the ZR2, that is not conducive to a lot of hyw travel are the tires! I might need to get another set of wheels and tires with a more friendly hyw tread for comfort, quiet and over the road traction, for the long haul.
Oh I have a real fine truck! That goes, does and brings me when, where and how I want to go. With room for the wife and dogs, while towing our travel trailer anywhere we want to go. After a year and 16,00 trouble free miles, I know I have a real truck!
A year and 16,000 miles is nothing. 5 years and 60,000 miles is what you want to be saying like you get with the new diesel trucks. And for the price of the ZR2 you can get a 3/4 ton truck that can do you way more than a little colorado
Such a well built truck 2 years later and it is still on top. Check out the new car and driver article. Jeep gladiator vs Ford ranger vs Tacoma vs ridge line. No spoilers here but all I'm gonna say such a well built truck.
yeah but I still never seen one one the road so that actually for sell ? or are you just teasing use for a couple of more years like always I have cash in hand I want one with a desal engine in it let us know where to buy one

If there still making this truck 5 to 7 years from now I will be the first to apologize and say I was wrong and may give this truck a hard look at buying
The slip rollers are placed in specific positions due to this vehicles dimensions, I'm an avid off road driver and enthusiast and trust me the terrain in real life is much harsher than that BS
Who cares about the fullsuze market when you can have a light nearly 400hp truck with fantastic suspension. It would be so much fun. That's the only reason I would buy one, is with a 5.3
That suspension is absolutely amazing. DSSV dampers for the win.
Ford have better
No one knows how special DSSV are multimatic makes them in Canada 🇨🇦 used on ford GT
memeguel I’m a ford man and ford has nothin. Near the DSSV those are bad boys man fx4 has rancho shocks nothing compared to DSSV

The front locker sealed the deal
Hi Greg thing is the Ford might just have some extra gears ( or (lady ) gears that is a secret until it's not a secret and the rest will be history
Chevy nailed it with their midsized truck, I wish dodge would step up their game
Wow, a truck doing truck stuff.
haters say its fake

Oh it's real....just nothing real special. They need to let me borrow that truck, i'll do things in it that they wouldn't.

My Road Tours and prove What?
insane man. the mini trucks are the size of full size pickups from just a few years ago. trucks are too dam big now.
I wish they'd put 60k real miles on them first so you can see how they perform when used
They perform good as new cause they are Chevys
2 years later, they're holding strong!
I drive one for work, 38k miles (yes its a fleet maintained) but it still runs flawless
Edit: 40k now, still holding up

The hood on the zr2 is sick. Lucky, it bolts right up to a stock (in my case) z71.
Front Diff Lock? RIP Tacoma, RIP.
tacoma has Atrac? which is better than a locker or lsd
The best Colorado it has Front and rear locker than tacoma ,tacoma had a Limited slip differential but it comes to a mudd oh dead

Wow an Offroad course made specifically for the zr2.

Chevy makes the best Light duty pickups, toyota a close second
Roman Hamm || that thing is half a ton...
Clorox Bleach Its still considered light duty. Not hating bro I own a Colorado. Heavy duty is reserved for full size trucks. Have I seen you before?
maybe you've seen me but id say with the raptor ford would take that. #1 spot.
Clorox Bleach Oh for sure. Those raptors have really made a name for themselves over the years. I dont compare midsize trucks to fullsize.
Roman Hamm || oh yea, raptor is a Baja truck anyways, would love to own one. heard the new ones are gonna have some power
Actually a bit impressed but you can see that independent front just not talking to the ground. Still pretty good for a small truck in 4 doors.
Thanks for the footage! Been looking for black crew cab zr2 video for a while now

Sean Ashcraft that’s a Jeep
Jer C Cherokee is a joke these days the old manual straight 6 are true jeeps
Michel Linschoten I'm all for big low end torque not high revving engines same with Ford 300 I6 blocks nearly indestructible
Chevy tough
