If been researching hyper scoots for a bit and i think I'll be purchasing this one, if been waiting for some answers on this scoot and you give me a bit more confidence 😂 Nice video✌🏼
@@armandodiego9381 Totally agree, this is a great choice for anyone looking for a high performance scooter, there's some other brands that meet or exceed the rs top speed however you'd have a hard time finding one that rides as smooth as this at 50 plus mph.
I check my tire pressure every 2 days and every nut/bolt weekly. And cleaning regulary including the rotors makes a big difference to performance on my Vsett.
The height from deck to handlebars is 43” and can extend to as much as 44” so I ordered one this morning. I used your scootagang code, thanks for the $50 off! It almost paid for the $63 worry free shipping price
Glad that was helpful! Scooter runs perfect once you release the tension a little. I will either be replacing that connector once it's worn out, or cutting around it and adding a different style of connector. Will be sure to let ya know here but it shouldn't be difficult!
@@ScootaGang The bad thing for me is when I order spare parts they can’t ship it out in New Zealand. I emailed them about ordering the thumb throttle, they still working out to ship it worldwide. But for now, I need to be patient about my twist throttle and my wrist is getting tired after an hour using my scooter. I hope they can sort it out soon enough 🥺
I never solved my night riding lighting/headlamp problems until... I quit using them to see, they're just visibility for drivers now. A helmet mounted (by finagling) headlamp, wall of wide angle, warm light, that follows where you're looking was my solution. There's never a time when you need light being thrown anywhere other than where you're looking. The caving light (used by cavers) Fenix HM75R Industrial. Take a look at their screen shots. Those are real, not touched up.
I had a helmet mounted headlight for awhile and it's really good for offroading at night but I didn't prefer it on the road at all. Way to easy to blind everyone when Im looking around lol but depends on your area and your routes for what is really better for you!
3:26 honest replacing a connector is something that shouldn't be too hard for an electronics shop to do, if you have any close to you, just bring the scooter to them, they might have connectors already and might be able to replace it for you for way less than a whole new motor
Definitely, and I'll prob end up soldering on something like 5 mm gold bullet connectors for the phase wires, but these connectors they use also contain 6 sensor wires for hall sensors so there is actually up to 9 wires that you would have to reconnect. Sure it's possible, but it will actually end up being a lot of work to add 9 new bullet connectors, that's 18 solders. When you add that any of those could fail at any time down the line as well since nobody is perfect, it's a toss up probably which repair route is better.
@@ScootaGang that's too much work for YOU, not for an electronics shop, they're people that do this daily, getting a 9 pin connector, and soldering one on each side is nothing to them, they would do that in like 20 minutes of work, and it would be better than factory, while also costing like 70$ at worst
You have got to upgrade the shocks on yours and Jordyn's RS. I put nami burn e 2 max shocks on mine (kke 1800lb/in) and damn is it amazing! Seriously, its the next mod you should do! Its actually saved my ass a few times hitting large heaves in the road above 40mph that came up on me suddenly. You have to pound tye bushings out of the stock shocks and sand down the plastic bushings several mm to make it work, but its worth it! Stock shocks on the RS are trash and the scooters biggest weakness. Dan krum should get the Niu scooter too btw.
Awsome video, i like the RS and a friend in my city has bought one and im a bit jealous hehe even though i have a modified 10+ that kickas the RS but, yet the RS is way more beautiful, and smooth : )
Yeah something about the RS lower center of gravity and long wheelbase just makes it ride so much smoother then everything else I've ever ridden at high speeds. Literally don't feel bumps at all on it just floats over everything
To understand if these two scooters has the same motors make an experiment... When both are full charge, free spin full throttle and tell us if they have the same top speed.!!🤔😘
For a $3000 scooter with those miles having an electrical issues I’ll stick with my GT 2 Segway with 4313 to this date with not 1 issue… Just regular maintenance
An update with the rear motor wire would be wonderful. I just broke 100 miles, and my rear wire is stuck and won't actually disconnect. I'm in the same boat of "well it works, and I don't need a tire change...."
@@PabloQuitin Don't think the Lite has the same issue, ours works perfect still, about 800 miles in. It pushes less amps so that connector is getting much less wattage through it.
Same we are so happy with ours! I'm also so thankful that I get to work with Inmotion tbh they are great on every level. I've dealt with so many brands at this point and they are top tier.

It's just me thinking of replacing Lite battery with 40A and get much more range? Since I don't need a power, I need range. So they are the same length? So battery can fit?

Otherwise you need to find an auto body shop in your area that does paint on like motorcycles or sports cars. They will do it if you are nice and helpful with taking the scooter apart etc. It was a lot of work for both of us, very labor intensive to take every part off and paint it, but it's definitely possible if you have a skilled body shop. We really just got lucky that Carousel is in the area, the owner and his staff are incredibly knowledgable and skilled. We almost did a wrap first, but that's nor really easy to do on the RS swingarms
