    i love this scene!!!
"there is no such thing as a no-sales call... either you sell the client some stock, or he sells you on some reason he can't! "
    i love it!

This is a great monologue for acting class. Kid did it directly to me, I wanted to hide under my chair. Powerful stuff.

"If youre drowning and I throw you a lifejacket would you grab it? Yes! Good - pick up 200 shares I wont let you down!"
    Love using that line!

I never understood how his character fit in with the rest of the company. You only see him when he's yelling at the new people.

@Talent2008 People who have not seen much of the world can't appreciate the power of this fundamental skill. In essence, it is the power to persuade. Doesn't matter if you're convincing someone to buy your brand of coffee, seducing a woman, convincing venture capital to dump 200 million into your start up, rallying troops, getting them to fight for your cause, to die for your cause, or vote for you in the next election. You are selling an idea, concept, or feeling. It has the power to conquer.

People always put salesmen down, but fact of the matter is, if they were good at it, they'd be right there doing it too. My neighbor never went to college or anything, and has the biggest house on the block, nicest cars and the hottest wife. He's in sales. Insurance sales to be specific.

I don't really like Ben A but his character at this scene said it best. " to a question like what is your firm minimum the answer is zero. You don't like the idea don't pick up a single share!" Awesome...
