We've said again and again how great this channel is at advocating for the value of art education! These videos show again and again how making art engages every type of intelligence. Printmaking and ceramics are both technically complex processes, and one thing they have in common is that timing is a huge factor- when pots need to be trimmed, or it's your turn to use the studio or kiln, it's go time!
I'm now in my early 40's and went to art school in London. Although the best years of my life and I had a lot of fun, I wish I had taken more advantage of the art facilities. Your art is gorgeous, Sunny :)
I love the little xx's at the end of messages too! Always found it super cute when I lived in England! But the 'how are you?/you alright?' in London usually is completely different 😂 It kind of is an equivalent to hi/hello and just a really quick greeting where no one really has time to care how someone really is😂 Sometimes both persons will even just say 'how are you?/are you alright?' at the exact same time haha, so they'll also answer 'I'm good, thanks' at the same time too and that's that😂
I love how you have all the structures and materials needed for doing literally anything you want, im an art student in Brazil and we have basically nothing for us in uni its so sad
I'm a college student in my final year and have been so conflicted on deciding which university to go to. I really appreciate your content, you’re so genuine with your experiences and perspectives. You’ve really helped me in my decision-making, thanks so much! ♥️
Love your videos!! They're so peaceful and comforting to watch, the content, music and editing is all lovely! Your art style is amazing too, I love your digital art and how you show the process for that as well as all the other art forms! I just wanna go and get some mint and pea soup, get cosy and keep watching! :)) xx
Thank you so much for this video. As I have been struggling with losing more and more of my artistic soul, I finally hit the point where I am not okay with it and starting to figure out how to get back to the rhythm of pushing myself artistically but also with compassion and understanding of myself as an artist. Thank you again for bringing this video to us and sharing your insights. All the best and all the love sent your way :)
There has been so many times where someone asking "are you ok?" has had me close to tears, I think partly because it's nice to know someone cares enough to ask :) Love this video, it's great to see the types of things you are doing at your art school and how some things are similar and some are different to what I am doing :)
ahhh i spent a semester at aup last year, i was also in illustration, studying with caroline. i spent many many days in the ceramics lab, m&s was my favourite place to shop at, bread&roses was my fav pub. i miss everything so so much, so i almost jumped when yt recommended your videos to me. watching them makes me so incredibly emotional but happy at the same time!!:,)) i love your art and determination so much! (i haven’t watched all videos so idk if u’ve already been, but make sure to cross with cremyll ferry and take a trip to cawsand!it’s beautiful:)
So glad you uploaded a new video today, glad you're selling a lot of prints and getting comissions. Liked the drawing at the end, your style feels so new yet familiar? like it has this old magazine look to it lol probably cause of the effect you add to it, very cool.
Thank you your content is both enjoyable and helpful you've personally inspired me to go ahead into art and I hope you continue to make such wonderful content and art.
Hello, Sunny. My major is textile design and I did silk screen when I was college. We had machine for silk screen and professors thought that proud, but I kinda wonder why peoples are going crazy about silk screen. How do you think about that?
Heyy first I love your content 😊😊 second I was wondering how you go about using the added canvas noise when doing the silkscreen printing? The texture looks awesome and I would love to try it
You've missed countless opportunities to enjoy soup in the States. Aside from restaurants and homemade, there's Campbell's and Progresso. Also, I'm not sure how I'd feel if I were paying for art school and had to rely on a 3rd party's online course because the school's courses don't include instruction.
it's bc textile art isn't really covered in my dept which is illustration, and while we can book in tutors for instructions, they might not be available on demand so it's good to have a backup learning site 😌
she's my comfort youtuber bro
omg 🥹😭🫶🏻
So real!!!
