The adorable and very smart little Miss Buggy always steals the show!! And I have also enjoyed watching the rest of your smart family drive through all 50? 48 states looking for your homestead which you finally found located only 40 minutes +- from our farm. And since you are so close...and since Nate and Katie have moved to their dream farm...it leaves an opportunity here. And whether proper or not...this format is the only way I know to contact you, Ben, and welcome you to come see if our deep fertile top soil, abundant grass, tractor, saw mill, etc can be used to help you and family increase your productivity!! What say?? beautiful people? Hoping for your reply...Ben...from the Forever Young...Mr Wayne P.S. So very heart warming was the scene at the end with family gathered around the kitchen table forming a hand held circle of love with bowed heads giving thanks for probably much more than the evening meal! Thank You

A scrub with vinegar and baking soda should dissolve that potato goo pretty easy. I like to keep a sprayer of vinegar and water around for this sort of job. In this case, I'd made a sort of bath of it with some water in a bucket and apply with a cloth then leet it set for a bit and wipe it away. Thanks for conducting this research! I had no idea that could happen.

Drill holes in the tires then place long metal studs in the tires (Studded tires) for Winter use and for muddy days. Plus it will air rate the soil at the same time.

You may already know this trick, and just choose to do one seed in a square, but you can actually germinate up to 10-12 tomato seeds in one cup, then when they are getting their first true leaves, after the cotyledon leaves, you can dump them out, separate them each into their own little cup or whatever. That way, you don't waste a cup or space on a seed that doesn't germinate, and you'll know exactly how many of each type you have by counting how many seeds came up, and plan accordingly. I was amazed at the hardiness of tomato seedlings, AND I learned that from your friend, Jess of R&R, probably 5 years ago. It was the first you tube video I ever watched of her gardening channel! And I've exploded many a potato in the oven, guys, LOL...

For the next (Spring) garden I have an old variety Egyptian Prince, the seed which a friend from Ohio sent to me. Her father grew these sauce tomatoes.I'll be done with tomatoes by July as it gets too hot for the garden to thrive.
