I know Season 5 is prime Miguel but he was definitely at his most dominant in Season 2.
Though he’s more skilled in S5 I feel like Miguel lost some of his edge after his injury
@@deethomas886 Yeah I think he’s lost some of his speed and agility but his fight IQ and technique make up for it, he was still able to beat Robby who’s the best teenage fighter in the show.

Always felt like the writers made this one too easy for Miguel. It makes sense for Hawk to lose but this scene makes him look like he ain't nothing.
Miguel was just in a different league at this point and the writers knew that. Hawk already lost to Robby during the mall fight and Miguel was always better than Robby.
How? Hawk was never even close to Miguel and this is barely after the tournament.
It was during the tournament that Hawk fought roughly even with Robby before getting DQ'd and Robby went on to nearly beat Miguel with only 1 arm. If Miguel was above Hawk at the time of the tournament it wasn't by much, and definitely not by THIS much.

Miguel as this point in the show was severely above everyone else as far as the teen fighters went. The writers had the intent of Miguel getting injured in the school fight way before hand. They couldn't keep him like he was doing the forest fight.
I feel like Miguel is really underappreciated, I mean no offence to hawk, he's a beast but overall I think miguel is better, he was the first cobra kai student in 30 years and if he didn't fall he'd be the best of all i think... I just love him man

@@JSt3pz it was a pretty quick and decisive fight, Robby got a couple good hits in but it did not take that long for miguel to win. They're still like relatively as skilled as each other but it's pretty clear that Miguel is better.

Season 1 best teen fighter: Miguel
Season 2 best teen fighter: still Miguel with Robby being a half-step behind and Hawk a full step behind
Season 3 best teen fighter: Robby, with Eli being half a step behind and Miguel not even being in the discussion due to injury
Season 4 best teen fighter: Eli, Robby takes second place due to inner turmoil, Miguel still recovering and staying away from fights
Season 5 best teen fighter: Wanna say the top 3 are tied this time around, because Miguel has lost some of his previous dominance and power due to the injury (but he compensates for it with experience), and also because all three of them have beaten one another at some point (Miguel beat Robby, Eli beat Robby, Miguel beat Hawk, with Robby giving both Miguel and Eli very tough times on multiple occasions)
Miguel in S2 was a beast, Robby dominated in his absence, and Eli came out of nowhere in the 2nd All Valley Tournament
Physically, Robby’s probably in the best condition out of the three currently (he’s quick compared to the injury-prone Miguel and has more muscle mass compared to the skinnier Eli)
Eli takes the cake in offensive power and aggression, being both swift and hard-hitting thanks to the time he spent in Cobra Kai, but also not a slouch in defense because of his time spent in Miyago-Do
But Miguel’s the most experienced, the one with the best technique and best intuition - he’s also the most mentally stable of the three (Eli had to deal with insecurity in his journey which made him overly aggressive in fights and sometimes easily baited, Robby had to deal with tons of daddy issues)
Aside from technique and experience or power and speed, mental condition is sometimes the most important factor to being declared “the strongest”, since these characters are all struggling teens with their own insecurities learning to grow up

wrong when you say in s5 they're tied. Hawk kinda got nerfed from S4, he lost to kenny (Ik they dont get worse, they get better every season but comparing him to robby and miguel he kinda got stepped behind), robby lost to miguel so miguel takes this season. He also didn't get hit once in the dojo fight. True goat. Also you say all three of them have beaten one another at some point, which is false because Miguel's never been beaten, stated by Demetri in S4 and in s5 he didn't lose a single fight.
Also in Season 4 I'd say Miguel would take it if it wasn't because he got injured in the tournament. He was dominating Hawk in his fight and if he didn't get injured he'd have gotten a point against Hawk.

What do you mean? Miguel got hurt in the fight between Hawk and Miguel Hawk and take like five people at once. While Miguel can’t hawk literally broke Demetris arm. Hawk always gets revenge. Miguel doesn’t think inside the box. He thinks outside the box while hawk is smarter with that. He thinks inside the box.
Ok but Miguel has had more training which is experience, so he knows how to counter the way Hawk fights. Now Miguel can also take on Robby and win while Hawk on the other hand cannot beat Robby. The only reason Robby lost to Hawk was because he got distracted.

Also, Miguel knows how to counter Hawk’s attacks. We saw it not only in their fight in the forest, but in their season 4 point fight too. Miguel even knocked him down but didn’t score a point for it. Miguel only lost that fight because of his back.
You are also incorrect about Miguel being unable to break someone’s arm because in his fight against Robby, (during the rumble in the school) Miguel had a chance to break Robby’s arm since he was in the same position as Hawk was when Hawk was about to break Demitri’s arm. Miguel only didn’t break Robby’s arm because he is not a person of anger unlike Hawk.
Miguel is very capable of breaking someone’s arm if he wanted to but that isn’t how he acts because he is a protagonist in the series.
