Sleep paralysis is truly scary it usually happens to me when I wake up and looking up at the ceiling I can see but I can't move I try to break it by moving my hand but you have to try really hard you feel so helpless and that you'll stay this way forever panicking is unavoidable

Yeah. I "unlocked" this type of dream during a nightmare. It was some sort of twisted version of my school. It had flickering lights inside and the outside had a dark purplish glare. Then i saw this rather dark figure with this aweful grin.everything about it was black exept for its eyes....... Its fucking eyes....... I tried to run away from it. But no matter wher i hide i feel the sense of dread and fear imobilizing me. As i got cornered. It moved a couple of inches closer everytime the lights flickered. Then when it was too close. I cound see its huge grin. That god aweful grin and yellowish teeth. Its mouth was huge, the distance from its upper"lip" to the lower is around a palm wide. Its eyes were rather small and circular. It had this black rim around it and its ghostly pale in the middle.When it was literally inches in front of my face it did this scream. That's when i wake up. The same nightmare kept repeating itself over until i remember that it is only a nightmare. When it did the scream again, i shouted back "for fuck's sake STOP!!! " it backed in tho a corner and did some sort of creepy crying and moaning sound. I got tired and simply vanished it. Like erasing pencil marks on paper. I made the school look as good as it can. Then dreamt of a school wide party. But i know this creature must be hiding somwhere. It must be a part of my mind because the nightmar kept repeating for over a week. I must be going crazy or somthing. And after that pretty much every dream became a lucid dream.

Almost everyday, I lucid dreaming when I am sleeping. But its really hard to tell if I am lucid dreaming at that day, or it just a normal dream. EVERYDAY i will have a dream, and its random but fun! Yo, same. Everything I’m scared of doing in the real world I can do in my lucid dreams. In particular, one of my dreams I was at my old hometown and it was the roaring 20’s. I saw my crush with a mask, so I went up and kissed her. I saw her reaction and everything, too. Lucid dreams only happen to me a couple times a month, so I try my best to replicate my success. 😝

Everything i was seeing/telling him was experienced mentally, and I thought it was just a dream, turns out I seemed relatively conscious at the time and my eyes were agape. What is this???
My husband was in absolute denial about my pregnancy until I got confirmation from HIS doctor. He wouldn't accept confirmation from the ER doctor when I went in with broken bones. The man went into a panic state, talking and walking in his sleep *EVERY NIGHT* from the confirmation until our daughter was about six months old. I breastfed her and when she was a few weeks old I 'woke' him, asking him to get her from the nursery and bring her to me. He rolled on his side, sat up and then stood up. He walked around the foot of the bed and scooped up his cat, walked to the closet, opened the door then *threw* the animal into the closet and slammed the door shut. He got back into bed and said, "There. Okay?" I *never* asked him to get the baby again!
I have had this thing happen to me several times in my life and I can tell you it is down right the most scariest feeling. I one time felt like I could feel someone breathing on me and even smacking me to wake me up. I’m not sure if science or religion is right but whoever it is I wish they’d find away to stop it. It happen to me at least 6-7 times throughout my life and the earliest I remember I was around 7-8 years old the first time. It totally freaked me out. It’s something strange that unless you experience it yourself you won’t understand. Even the way you say up is different. Right away you know something is off and you feel dread really fast. Once I was married and I felt the systems start once and my wife woke me up out of the dream but it wasn’t easy it took her a minute. Most times I’m alone but if I pray and ask Jesus for help it stops immediately or if I get mad like I do now and try to fight it also will stop but maybe that’s more science than demon then.
Last night I dreamed that I was standing in front of a wire fence, and someone told me that it's a border between two nations, but I can't remember what nations were involved. I was standing at the northern nation, it had a sandy soil, but I saw pine trees, it seems like a coniferous forest. I also saw a Buddhist temple at the southern part of the land, but it's another country. There are people walking beside the border, they're tourists, I think. Then I looked back at the northern part (nation) , and there were a group of brick houses that looked like offices. Then a group of men from the northern part saw me and chased me. I ran into the forest and hiding from the men, and while I kept running, I said to myself that I liked this nation because of the forests and the houses, but it was a nightmare. I woke up, and I was confused. The last thing I saw is that I fell into a hole. I wondered what caused this dream, and why a wonderful dream became a nightmare. I am also thinking which nations were involved in the dream. Then I watched this video, and I realized that I can have dreams in the middle of the night and forget them, and I observed that the last REM sleep is the most memorable one, like last night. I had sleep paralysis a couple of times, I was about 14 (22 now) and I remember waking up and not being able to move. My first reaction was like..."This is a dream" but it wasn't. I was concerned but kept my cool and told myself to get up, of course I wasn't able to so I focused everything I had into my hands and they woke up. Slowly but surely I gained control but I was like wtf?? Second time I woke up face down in my pillow and could hardly breathe, so I began to panic because I knew it was sleep paralysis. I literally felt like I was suffocating myself, that panic led me to pushing myself off the bed somehow and I regained control.
I’ve only had sleep paralysis once and that was enough to get me prepared for the other times I was about to get it again. Before I start to hallucinate, I shake my head and try to move any part of body to get me out of REM. Usually it’s me trying to twitch my fingers and toes.

My husband was in absolute denial about my pregnancy until I got confirmation from HIS doctor. He wouldn't accept confirmation from the ER doctor when I went in with broken bones. The man went into a panic state, talking and walking in his sleep *EVERY NIGHT* from the confirmation until our daughter was about six months old. I breastfed her and when she was a few weeks old I 'woke' him, asking him to get her from the nursery and bring her to me. He rolled on his side, sat up and then stood up. He walked around the foot of the bed and scooped up his cat, walked to the closet, opened the door then *threw* the animal into the closet and slammed the door shut. He got back into bed and said, "There. Okay?" I *never* asked him to get the baby again!
I have had this thing happen to me several times in my life and I can tell you it is down right the most scariest feeling.
I one time felt like I could feel someone breathing on me and even smacking me to wake me up.
I’m not sure if science or religion is right but whoever it is I wish they’d find away to stop it.
It happen to me at least 6-7 times throughout my life and the earliest I remember I was around 7-8 years old the first time. It totally freaked me out. It’s something strange that unless you experience it yourself you won’t understand.
Even the way you say up is different. Right away you know something is off and you feel dread really fast. Once I was married and I felt the systems start once and my wife woke me up out of the dream but it wasn’t easy it took her a minute.
Most times I’m alone but if I pray and ask Jesus for help it stops immediately or if I get mad like I do now and try to fight it also will stop but maybe that’s more science than demon then.

Last night I dreamed that I was standing in front of a wire fence, and someone told me that it's a border between two nations, but I can't remember what nations were involved. I was standing at the northern nation, it had a sandy soil, but I saw pine trees, it seems like a coniferous forest. I also saw a Buddhist temple at the southern part of the land, but it's another country. There are people walking beside the border, they're tourists, I think. Then I looked back at the northern part (nation) , and there were a group of brick houses that looked like offices. Then a group of men from the northern part saw me and chased me. I ran into the forest and hiding from the men, and while I kept running, I said to myself that I liked this nation because of the forests and the houses, but it was a nightmare. I woke up, and I was confused. The last thing I saw is that I fell into a hole. I wondered what caused this dream, and why a wonderful dream became a nightmare. I am also thinking which nations were involved in the dream. Then I watched this video, and I realized that I can have dreams in the middle of the night and forget them, and I observed that the last REM sleep is the most memorable one, like last night. I wish the info graphics show will make a video about dreams. Thanks. 😇😇😇

An sleeping expert here! I have narcolepsy, it would take me seconds to voluntary and involuntary to fall asleep and seconds to enter in REM period, I Experienced, sleep paralysis, sleep walking, lucid dreams every night.

I had sleep paralysis a couple of times, I was about 14 (22 now) and I remember waking up and not being able to move. My first reaction was like..."This is a dream" but it wasn't. I was concerned but kept my cool and told myself to get up, of course I wasn't able to so I focused everything I had into my hands and they woke up. Slowly but surely I gained control but I was like wtf?? Second time I woke up face down in my pillow and could hardly breathe, so I began to panic because I knew it was sleep paralysis. I literally felt like I was suffocating myself, that panic led me to pushing myself off the bed somehow and I regained control.

I’ve only had sleep paralysis once and that was enough to get me prepared for the other times I was about to get it again. Before I start to hallucinate, I shake my head and try to move any part of body to get me out of REM. Usually it’s me trying to twitch my fingers and toes.

I keep having the same nightmare where I'm outside (sometimes during storms) and then suddenly a strong gust whips up and blows me away. Often it ends with a huge bright flash and I hear the loud sound of thunder as well. That's when I wake up and my heart is beating fast, but I don't scream and usually just shake it off.

I once realized I was dreaming after seeing many things that didn't look right. I said to my self "This is a dream" and then shot up in my bed awake. I yell "dang it!" and passed back out before my head hit the pillow.
I have never experienced any of these thanks for giving me insomnia.
