This helped me a lot! I accidently detached the upper half of the main-sub tag so i had to unscrew the top cover as well to re attach it putting in the new charging port. You saved me a lot of money- thank you!
I successfully replaced my port, but I found a small round piece of rubber & I can't figure out where it came from. It is the size of a paper clip around & about 4mm long. Any ideas where it goes?
How official samsung services notice that phone is opened and touched inside and so that they cancel the warranty? There is no special band or covers inside the phone
There is a seal that serves as waterproof or resistant, once opened that seal won't be the same anymore and that is how they detect it its been opened by third party
Maybe the top half of your main-sub connector got disconnected like mine. This video at 2:25 shows where to expose that part to reconnect it ruclips.net/video/rrJIRmpy2QQ/видео.html
I replaced the USB-C port on S22U, but charging still doesn't work. I hope I don't have to replace the motherboard.Wireless charging works flawlessly. I would appreciate any advice
@@alemh.1660 If your microphone still works and your Sim card still works and your wireless charging works (as mentioned) then it's the wire harness between the charging port board and the main board. Check both sides and reseat them. Other than that, if all else fails, continue to use the wireless charging solution. Better to have a 3 year old phone that limps along that to buy a new S23.
@@rwatson2609 A couple of days after my above post, by inserting the charger into the USB port, the phone stopped working, dead. I had to replace the motherboard.
