Think it's about time Samsung gave a lifetime replacement warranty on all of their phones for this issue!!! I've owned almost every model of there's and this happens with every one of them!
Water moisture warnings Happened to my note 9 three times . Now its happening to my s21 ultra. Never been near water, same with my brothers s20 plus. Im starting to give up on samsung
Was going to just upgrade my phone but I'm kinda attached to it I have worked on pcs and gaming consoles but haven't been confident after watching this I think I might be willing to give it a shot
i have replaced this board because the microphone didnt work in apps. once replaced, the microphone did work but it doesnt take any charge from the port. i have reseated it multiple times aswell as getting a replacement board but it still comes up with an overheating warning. it does charge wirelessly. is the warning because of a faulty board or is it something to do with non genuine parts or is it just because my phone is broken or something. i dont work on phones, usually only pcs but since i saw this video of how easy it was to replace i decided to give it a shot. the only issue is the charging on the new board, microphones and sim card all work. i dont know what to do. any ideas?
I Have the s23 ultra version, and having issue in cellular signal, some people advise me to replace the charging port ,do you think is it gonna work? Sorry for my bad English
Hi, i did the same thing, but there's a small pin with two pieces of O ring blue color. Supuse to be on the sim card slot. I don't have any idea how I can put it back. The phone is working fine. But I have the little piece out.
Which ribbon am I replacing if a black screen is the issue. Phone turns on and vibrates for notifications so I know it's not the screen since it's been replaced already.
Mines just a little loose and when I charge it, it needs to be set down a certain way so cord doesn't wiggle. Do I need to replace it, or just snug something up?
I had that problem after the 1st month of buying my phone (bought around release), broke completely a few months later. I'm very careful when plugging the cable in and out but this is the 2nd Samsung phone it happens on. Just replaced the USB-C part thanks to this video, hoping that it'll work fine for a few years at least.. Never had this issue on iPhone (work phone). I prefer Android, and always have, but I'll go iPhone if this one breaks too. 😅
Same except I think mine is messed up cause when I have it at a angle it always says 7hrs till fully charged so only way to charge is by a wireless charger
Next time, disconnect the battery before removing/disconnecting any parts for a safer repair

Brilliant guide thanks, replaced the charging port and used another video to replace the battery
Why not replace the battery as well if you are doing all that might as well?...
Great video....100 percent accurate
Do you have to back the phone up before doing this?
I would for sure you never know if something goes wrong, always better safe than sorry
Hey mate i had my port repaired, now i dont have reception network
Data. Any idea
I have the same issue, had any luck?
Reception data and battery are 2 different things that's weird....maybe you have something off?...

How was it
not even done paying off my S21 and the charger port is already loose... might go with the iPhone next time -_-
How come you have an EU version phone and a USA charger, are they compatible with each other?
Yes? They both have USB-C. Its only the wall adapter that is different.

Thank you! very helpful. works for me.
Is the superfast charging working?
Does it connect to pc and transfer data?
Yes it does
you are replacing charging board , not charging port.
Great video. Thanks for clear explanation and close-up details. I'm not sure why you need to include the annoying music.
this guy not a technician

@@squid.696 Yep, it's about to break completely soon - had the same issue on 3 of my Samsungs.
@@SwoonGaming honestly surprised it hasn't it's been more than 4 months
