Leonide is godly, the only reason Taiwan rates him so low(besides the fact he's male), is because you have to actually build him, and he has yet to be put in a banner, so very few people have him. He'll out tank Cocoa any day of the week, he can out move any seeker if you need him for a race, and he can do around 10k to even a buffed up Gloria. Not to mention he has a great knockback skill, and the best defensive passives in the game. He's every bit of Tier 1, and the special Talents, nevermind Engravings break him even more.
You overrated him so much lol. I also build him but he is nowhere near what you describe. You probably used him against underlvled / unbuilt Gloria & Cocoa. Leonide was more into survival and disrupting enemy position because of his knockback & ultimate that hits hard and restore HP but by no means he is a good tank. If by tanking, you mean just surviving enemy hits then Momo is the best unit for that. 50% physical dmg reduction + anti knockback with high mdef and counter+alert with lifesteal.
@@zoltorortegus6259 if it was 1 v 1 yes. But Auguste have piercing dmg, lifesteal, extra action, and AoE with antiheal & stun. It is pretty obvious for end game PvE that piercing dmg & stun would really help your team in clearing the mobs fast. Not to mention the extra action, that's basically free dmg. Leonide dmg is fine but he is being held back by his single target focus. He doesn't even have AoE, you can only do AoE dmg by knocking enemy to each other. Even Saffiyah have AoE and her single target burst can kill 1 enemy faster than Leonide lol. If I can, I would trade my Leonide for Xavier. Or another copy of Rawiyah.
@@VyanTan As great as act again would be on 90% of units, I think Auguste is a prime example of a pre-nerf, and It's because they gave him a OP effect as a trait(and it doesn't even have a real CD). As for piercing, I'll take ignore def over that anyday. Life steal can be had other ways, as can anti heal, ect. However I guess time will tell, we'll see how fast people get over the Auguste hype, which people aren't all that excited for as is.
we wont know until the event drops, but i hope so, youre not going to want an entire team of breakers, so two Should be enough, and then your healers/tanks/supports
