this teaser gave a lot of non warframe players more questions than answers. to me the customization part is a standard in warframe, you can customize both weapons and outfits, but more color palettes are locked behind a paywall. the pets you see here are the sentinels and the companions similar to warframe, which aids you in a fight. the co-op system is somewhat similar to warframe, you guys can farm on resource farming stages together, for example, in the survival missions or in a defense missions you can go on forever with increasing difficulty that is where co-op usually shines. even though it has some similarities with warframe, it tries its best to be more unique and different than its inspiration. some say this is going to be a gacha, but i believe its going to be an mmo rather than a gacha. if you can craft a 5 star weapon from a blueprint dropped by a boss, or the demon wedges/mods that you can farm for, can we even call it a gacha? in the tech test, if i can remember correctly, there is a character, i believe it was psyche, the scythe wielding butter fly girl people often compare to titania, she was craftable. and to further prove that this game is not gacha, they haven't implemented any gacha systems since its first tech test. their website doesn't say its a gacha game nor the reddit nor twitter.

Ight im here to play the Bot advocate. Carlotta is described as the family's executer/assassin for any traitors or threats of the family so maybe she just doesnt do introducing yourself things? I dont have of an explanation why she didnt introduce herself right away except that she was feeling quirky which could actually also explain Zani not knowing her because of her mystery fetish. The towers despite holding the truth and being damaged may be objects of worship considering that the church is doing shady stuff for their belief and not just monetary gain. Yeah the story got me so engaged that I had to fight to stay on the computer. Im pretty sure Carlotta was trying to avoid them from fleeing or back up (i think?) and their anticipation is actually just a precaution but not towards Carlotta considering they folded too damned quickly. I play on JP so idk. Im pretty sure they went with the "mysterious person who helped us is actually part of the bad guys group" instead of the betrayal. Zani hunting down Gilberto can be explained by her loyalty to the family considering that guy was a threat. True, Carlotta already drained my funds and Zani, Brant, Cath-elf girl, and Phrolova also freakin showed up. Im pretty sure thats just a resonator mutation case like Lingyang but it would be cool if there were more Zani coded characters. If only the other companies have the capabilities to do that too. ZANNII COME TO MY EMBRACCEE

Bitterwort (the buff) is a unique healing because of the out of turn timing of it's heal. As it triggers as a reaction after taking damage, it's the only way to heal your characters even when the enemy coordinates a team burst. So I think you're pretty spot on with it being useful in pvp. During Crimson Night I also noticed, that this timing allows very careless and risky plays, because you can preemptively heal the characters. However the crimson night version of the character also has way better skills than the gacha one. :(

Good for Universal derivation and PvP? That's fine. Healing in general is only worth anything when you're losing anyway.

I honestly liked a lot Butterwort since there's a lot of missions where no matter how well equipped you are, the enemies will burst you, I totally can see something nice on her

You're a Taoqi main you say? Well luckily for you she is pretty good with Carlotta because of her outro giving resonance skill damage amplify. My Carlotta isn't even fully built yet but even using Taoqi to buff her I can clear any stage in ToA. Zhezhi is not at all required for Carlotta to do good damage.
