You can use him as a sacrificial slow down bomb, so your other units can go an attack first. (very all or nothing way of playing)

i built him lifesteal wise and i really like it, being surrounded by 4 or 5 enemies does some crazy things to your hp, so if hes not oneshot being able to heal all the way up in one attack is really nice, plus dmg 2 and evergreen pendant means its very competitive with the glass cannon path and more sturdy
