Got a '23 GT in April and have really loved pretty much everything about it. I've put about 6000 miles on it. Just went on a road trip and used Electrify America chargers and a Tesla Supercharger (got an adapter from A2Z) without issues. GT has a range of about 270 at 100%....I'd love for it to be over 300 (especially once winter comes), but it is what it is. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on yours!
Thanks for sharing your experience. That is awesome to hear and I am still waiting on my adapter from #Ford which fingers crossed will come in September.
Good video. I own a '22 California Route One with the RWD extended range battery. After 34,000 miles, I see zero drop in range. I still use the Ford 110v charger. Great car, we've taken it on a few interstate road trips from California to Nevada and many road trips within California. I used the A2Z NACS adapter when driving up to Mammoth, which only has Tesla supercharging. I feel bad for you people who live where it gets cold. Here in Los Angeles, my winter range is the same as my summer range.
Pretty good review! I'm getting Pretty much the same mileage out of my Nissan Ariya. Cold weather does play a factor in range. I already replaced my tires with 27,000 miles. The original set was Dunlop, a softer compound with better grip than what I have now. I do charge at home. The charging station is about 20 miles away, so it's very necessary to charge at home. My first EV and very satisfied with it.
Fair review! I have 2 Dacia Spring and I charge them from the electric panels. Here in Romania kWh is from 10 to 25 cents... When charging at home, can you limit charging to (2kW)?
Honestly curious about the winter battery life you're talking about...We've really not noticed a massive difference in winter in our ID4. The winter tires eat into range for sure, and we see about a 10% improvement in the efficiency rating when we swap those out in April each year. Then maybe another 10% hit or so from temps and using more heat and luxuries, but again nothing I'd say was awful, terrible, etc as you've said
Thanks for your comment. I do alot of driving on certain days and during the summer, spring, fall months, I am able to do my driving in one day without charging my MME until I get home. During the winter months especially with the cold weather, I am not able to get home without finding a place to charge my car. My estimated range definitely goes down during the winter months. I would not say half but maybe 25% depending on temp and road conditions. I still love my experience with my MME just am not a fan of it during the winter months. I do love the way it handles in the snow though. Thanks
Wait, what…1 cent per kWh? Wow! We have tiered pricing here in California which is either 43 cents or 53 cents per kWh. Still, we are only paying on average $125/month for charging the car only at home. This is the cost for only the EV charging portion of our bill. We use the Wall Box charger we got at Costco. We have a 2023 RWD Select with the 72 kWh LFP battery which supposedly can be charged to 100% with little ill effects. We take ours to 100% but only charge it weekly on average. We have seen a slight drop in calculated estimated range but I’m sure most of that is due to the way I drive. So we still love the car. It looks great in Grabber Blue and it so quick and quiet. I don’t get why some people shy away from EVs. Probably mostly because of price but like you said, everything else about it is pretty cheap. We only have just under 11,000 mile on ours and we will have had it a year in October.
@ArVeeNiner thanks for sharing. Yes, where I live the kWh are not that high, Yet. I would say the average kWh is around 8 cents. Also with your battery that you have, I hear the same thing that you can charge to 100%. I don't have that battery. But I guess the newer models have them. I'm glad you like your EV. They are so much fun to drive and have very low maintenance costs for yearly driving. For me, it made scene to buy an EV. Thanks again.
I’m so close to committing to a Mach e, I’m seeing used 2021 models from the gt to the select and used 2023 selects all for under 28k, I’d be driving in Arkansas(considering weather conditions). I’m not seeing any other cars with everything the Mach e has for those prices, am I blinded or are there other cars worth the comparison?
I used to have f150 with sum mechanical issues...got a mach e earlier this week and I love this vehicle much better than I expected no regrets so far...
It feels like it. Lol. Depending on how cold it is, I would say you can lose about 25% of the battery. The season is coming very soon and I will be paying alot more attention to it.
Excellent review! Nicely done!
@@mikeswanigan4350 Thank you. Much appreciated!
Nicely. done!

Thanks for sharing your experiences with me. It's great hearing stories from other EV owners like you.

Thanks for sharing. Not sure about how to limit while charging.
Georgia Power off peek charging times are 11:00PM to 7:00AM. You’re paying $210 per year road tax in Georgia.
@@ronniemullis8717 thanks for sharing. My license plate renewal sticker is higher due to my car being an EV. About 100 dollars more than a normal car.

You have to pay a lot more to live in the Democrat Socialist Republic of California.

I am partial to the MachE and I have only been in a Telsa once. I definitely enjoy my MME
