I absolutely love how you explain this and demonstrate it. It’s so helpful and so appreciated. I had no idea what my deficiencies were until I started watching this channel. I wish I could train with this guy for a month to get it locked down. I’ve never had anyone make it this clear.

The way this was explained was perfect 👍🏽. Bending the bar cue caused me to over tuck which in turned caused my elbows to be too far in front on the barbell . After watching this , I cleaned up some technique flaws in my bench and feel much better going forward . Keep up the good work and info ✌🏽
Gonna work on trying that spread cue. Thanks Ben!
Anytime Jacob!
Great advice!
I’d also love to see a video on “grip width”
Wide
I have many on that!
I've been waiting for this
Dude keep this up! You should have 1,000,000 subs
Haha appreciate it my friend
Your site has helped me tons👍👍🇩🇪
Thanks so much Jan!
So are you starting to spread the bar before you even unrack?
Yes, that's how you unrack with a preloaded back and using the lats to drag out the bar. Otherwise you over press and protract the shoulders out of position.
Can you explain how to do the “reach cue”. Is that leg drive pushing chest up or engaging the lat
Do you need to focus on spreading the bar on the way up after the bar as reached your chest? Or just explode up naturally? Basically is there spread tension on way down and up both as a cue?
So are you starting to spread the bar before you even unrack?
Yes you want to set that tension early
