    Absolutely the most underrated channel here. Free programs and modifications videos , and she doesn’t over talk thru her videos . Wow 🤩!! Only regret is I didn’t find her channel sooner , she’s a breath of fresh air.

      Yup! I live in a cheap college apartment where the floor cracks all the time. This makes work out at home a doable activity for me!!

    I’m hardly even 20 yet, but ~5 years of gymnastics and cheerleading has made my knees very sensitive. Even at my strongest, jump squats and cross over jacks are very challenging and often painful. Thank you so much for this video! I’m loving the workout plan so far too!

      Please go see the youtube channel kneesovertoesguy and just look around and check it out! His stuff isn’t well organized but everything you need to know is on his channel. He does sell a program but I didn’t buy it so I can’t speak to it. But since applying the things I’ve learned on his channel, my knees are no longer giving me problems. I had to modify a bunch and now I don’t need to at all. Your comment stuck out to me because I recommended it to one of my good friends who also had bad knee pain after years of cheerleading and she has completely reversed her knee pain as well.

    Thank you for these modifications for the 12 week challenge. I was feeling guilty for doing a modified version but now I feel assured I'm still going to benefit even though I can't do all of the high impact moves.

    Thanks for this! I've got arthritis in one knee (from a sports injury in my teens, then running too much in my 20s and 30s) and so I've got to be smarter now about how I exercise, and reduce the impact whenever possible. I'll be referring back to this for sure as I carry on through the 12 week plan!

    Oh so I'm doing the right way. I've been doing this when the moves are hard on the knees or my lower back, or just so I could finish Heather's whole circuit 😆 My reason, "At least I'm moving" lol. Thanks for this walkthrough 🥰

      K, so I saw your comment since it’s at the top and I just wanted to say that I was modifying and struggling with some moves - broad jumps were the WORST on my knees. I came across a RUclips channel called kneesovertoesguy and since applying the stuff I learned on his channel (he sells a program but I didn’t buy it, just watched a bunch of videos and started doing some of the exercises) and it made a WORLD of difference. I no longer need to modify any exercises. I have been telling people about it and have a couple of friends who also have reversed their knee pain through his stuff. I will warn, he’s a bit goofy and his channel isn’t organized too well, but it’s worth checking out!

    Heather, I have been following your workouts the last few months and they are great. But, I have to say that I love the style of this one because I like that there's music and not too overly loud so we can hear you. Especially like your voice over reminding us to to keep form and teaching us how to do the exercise correctly. Keep more like this one coming. Love it!!!!

    I like alot of hiit workouts on youtube, but I always find myself going back to yours. The low impacts are a good change of pace also. Thanks for the videos. Keeps me energized in my mid 40s.

    This is so helpful. In addition to needing to worry about neighbors and noise, I have a hamstring injury I'm nursing so this is really key to not worsening it (and not feeling bad about not being able to keep up).

    thank you for making this video! i have had to create my own low-impact versions due to bad knees and i still sweat during each workout. i'm also in my late 40's and after years of running on concrete, pretty sure i need a knee replacement. thank you for all your videos, you are the first fitness influencer that i have really connected with and feel that you can help me meet my fitness goals and keep me motivated. thank you for taking the time to do what you do and for helping all of us live a healthier lifestyle. xo

    I am a woman over 60 with knee prostheses, so it is difficult to find exercises suitable for me on internet videos.
    This compilation of modifications is what I had been searching for a long time without success.
    In addition, you give a very detailed explanation of the technique that must be used in each exercise, to avoid injuries.
    On the other hand, you speak very slowly, which is important for those who do not speak English as native language.

    This came at the perfect time. I was getting ready to start your 12 week program tomorrow but read a review where someone said that its cardio intense with tons of jumping. I know my knees would not be able to take it so I was literally looking for another longer challenge that was less jumping when this popped up. Yay! Now I can continue as planned with these modifications!!

    This is brilliant and much needed. Honestly I have been doing my own modifications during the daily challenge workouts. I am over 200lbsand not in the best shape. So I can't jump as high or plank for as long. I still get a kick-ass workout with you though and feel amazing afterwards.

    Heather, thank you so much for this and all your videos. I enjoy them so much and as a diabetic nurse in the NHS it’s a constant battle to get patients to exercise, but I’ve found advising your videos to be the most user friendly for them and most likely for people to keep up the exercise momentum.
    From a personal point of view I’ve found a lot of people comment on needing low impact from injuries or being in an apartment, but my need for low impact is of the “gynaecological nature”, having had 3 children, and I’m quite sure there are a huge amount of women wanting to protect and help their undercarriage from further damage who want to do HIIT workouts - after all they are the perfect forms of exercise to do at home when the toddler is sleeping!! Last I heard (from a gynae physio colleague) they now think every woman who has had a natural birth will have a prolapse of some degree and I know hard pounding on your feet is not advisable. One complaint I’ve had about needing low impact is that it often ends up being low intensity as well - that is not necessarily something that is required - but this video explains it all and will no doubt help me keep the intensity up

    I just love you. I’ve already requested an inner tight workout, because I have to work on them to prevent pain from my knee deviation. Jumps are a no go also, but I was still looking for hiit workouts with no jumps. So glad I can follow along the program and still be able to walk up the stairs with no pain in my knees.

    Thank you for the modifications. I had ankle & tendon reconstruction surgery 100 days ago and I need to resume exercising but without overworking the ankle or my knee that's plagued with OA. From these mods I can further modify the exercises to my current limitations.

    I find low impact can be just as good if you put in effort. It's my only option living in an upper floor apartment

      Totally!! Low impact does not always mean low intensity! You can still get in a serious sweat sesh and keep your neighbors happy :)

    Definitely have to modify the burpees. Sometimes they get me but for the most part I push through even though they can be intense.
