I never normally comment on videos but this is wonderful stuff. For years I've toyed with the idea of koi pond however I'm a gardener at heart and dislike the sterile conditions that most koi are kept in. So you've made my mind up a natural pond for plants and wildlife though maybe a few hardy fish that can put with the conditions. Keep up the good work. ❤

Great video. Good to see raw footage rather than edited stuff. I got my missus to gimme a hand a few years back, she slipped on a shelf & ended up with a wet arse. Every time I ask for help now I get the middle finger. 😂. Keep em coming 👌👏👏👏🌟

I'm shocked you haven't gotten more comments on this video. Most folks who start a new pond, really could use this video to guide them. Most channels skip through the details, and that's where some get confused. Absolutely great video, and yes, I loved the format!!! Great job to you both!!! 👍

Hi both Teamwork is very evident in your approach , and the end results is proof of that in action . I agree entirely regards the fish , we don’t give them credit for how resilient they are . But as you say a total clear out is no bad thing when it’s needed , nature is indeed a wonderful thing . But in such a small volumes of water , a little help from you guys to keep things ticking over is definitely the best way to go . 😀👍👍👍

I enjoyed it, thanks. It certainly made a change from most of the other You Tube channels I'm hooked on. Shortish and sweet is probably the best option in most cases but don't let me stop you from doing something similar with a different angle perhaps.
By the way, your idea about stringing washing line over the garden to deter herons seems to be working! Thanks for the suggestion.
