I've been watching this video periodically for about 5 years now..just can't get enough :) Im happy to say that I will see this wonderful man live this september one of the best of our time :D
RaphaElBarrelLa, thanks for knowing about Russia and its culture. baerin18, thanks for defending me. I am sorry I made the earlier comment. I usually keep quiet and don't participate in discussion. But comments about the way I am dressed, my orientation, my looks, etc. are so full of you know what. I am sick of them. By the way, it was shot in winter 97 and it was cold. That jumper was the only warm one I had. And that lady is a TV host. The name of the song is "Con salero y garbo"
just insane.....the paco da lucia scale in the intro says it all, just perfectly clean and resonant all the way down played fast as hell! the tremolo is so clean and he brings out all the inner voices so well. he effortlessly moves between multiple difficult strumming techniques, but most importantly makes is sound very musical and moving instead of just showing off technique. the best always make it look as if they are not even trying!
Maybe they got the two thumb symbols mixed up... This was the only logical reason I could come up with for thumbs downing this video - it's a work in progress lol
Here after watching Grisha’s video today where he goes down memory lane about all his videos. Oddly I never saw this one. But definitely it’s incredible.
awesome!!! his name is grisha goryachev for some that do not know his name. he is russian and been playing since a very young age, i think 6 years old. he's obviously just a natural.
As a teen been into Hendrix,Satriani and all the other 'Rock/ Speed guitar style. Always thought that was the shiaat... But not now.. 20 years later... This is real guitar playing.
@malow87 Tremolo, The fingers for classical guitar are P (thumb) I ( Index) M (middle) A (ringer finger). Basically you hit a string using the thumb, and follow up with A M I, on the first string (the string he was hitting). You could also do any string you want with the tremolo, moving the thumb up and down on the strings, or hitting the same string. Start slow and build it up.
Much better than what most people that call themselves "guitar players" when all they know how to do is strum a max of 7 chords on their steel string (which requires little to actual no talent at all) and then girls flock to them. We need more nylon string classical guitarist.
To BFGUITAR During the baroque guitar period composers like Gaspar Sanz where using rasgueados which is a flamenco technique in pieces and this was during the 1600's and we also know that Gaspar Sanz composed pieces that are played in the classical guitar repetoire like canarios. My point is that they are related to each other because its all from the spaniards.
What an epic ending, this would have to be the best piece i heard from grisha, i know some people say he lacks the " flamenco soul " i can understand what is meant when one states that, But i hear flamenco for hours and i can actually be quite bored in the process of listening to some people, even Paco. When i listen to Grisha it's very entertaining. Only thing this man lacks is creativity to write his own work which his currently working on i hear and to be released sometime in 2013.
i se other videos with amazing praise in comments, then i se this video and i discard al praise for thease other spanish guitarists, this man has tallent!

Its the guy from the big bang theory who owns the comic book store.
Stewart.
Fantastic! I had the pleasure of seeing him live in Houston, Tx. Congratulations Maestro!!!!!!!!
My heart skips a beat every time he plays a scale 😱
I used to go to internet café back on 2007 just to listen to this video ❤️
Back before Stuart realized that there’s no money in classical guitar music and opened a comic book store.
I'm still laughing 😂😂😂😂😂 couldn't be more accurate 😂😂😂😂
Griska U Z BEST U OWNED THAT TING AND PLEASE DONT BE SICK...
someone asked Ross from Friends to play some spanish kick ass flamenco.
BAdrummer1988 Stewart from Big Bang😂 but I love this guy!!💖 and he doesn’t really look like that in person- weird lighting.
He is one of the most excellent guitarists I've ever seen, and this is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard in my life!
if you dislike, then show that you are better.
What a dumb response...
I've been playing guitar for like 7 years...and I don't think that I could ever be this good! I think you might have to be born with it!
I bet his right hand makes all the women happy
Baker x d-roc!
unfortunately guitar nails :/ we classical guys rely on our left hands.
You bet it does! But not in a sexual way- just as he’s using it here💖😊
the lady to his left
Can't remember when I first him play this but i been coming back for YEARS to watch this👌👌👌🔥🔥🔥
So many dislikes... why????
"noun, dys-lex-i-a: a general term for disorders that involve difficulty in learning to read or interpret words, letters, and other symbols..."
+Duco Reynolds So this is the reason why there are so many dislikes? Because of Dyslexia?
Maybe they got the two thumb symbols mixed up...
This was the only logical reason I could come up with for thumbs downing this video - it's a work in progress lol
RUclips propaganda
Diego can you tell me why you’re not a fan? I’m not criticizing - just curious as a guitar enthusiast:)
Here after watching Grisha’s video today where he goes down memory lane about all his videos. Oddly I never saw this one. But definitely it’s incredible.

It takes an amazing guitarist to play such a complex piece with such ease
this is without doubt the best....no the most fantastic version of a christmas jumper on earth....
I saw Grisha live, and he melted my face off.

Thats so clean. Not even one muted note. Base notes as clear as all the rest EXTREAM SKILL props
He came to my school today and played for us. He was so nice!! and he played so good. It was awesome. The kids got to talk to him and his bestfriend.

Thanks again for all your help.
Wow beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!
gotta love this lovely lady at 3:14 :)
older people can really appreciate this kind of music better than we do :)
He enjoys it. You don't have to jump around in ecstasy and staring at the string while playing.
Love it. Sounds so cool.
That sweater makes this dude like 50 times more awesome then he already is.
Thank you for posting this.
It almost makes me believe in miracles.
es así como debemos de tocar la guitarra, no desperdiciando este gran instrumento en musica pop
i thought this was going to be a joke or somethin because of the thumb nail but this guy is accually really good.
He is a Russian, he was a child prodigy. His dad taught him at a young age. This kid is really good.
Impresionante amigo, tocas con un sonido y un calorcito llenos de verdad oleeee precioso!!!
I can't decide what is most impressive, his skill level, his playing style, or his sweater.
Wonderful~~~ You look to enjoy liberty from any pains. I wish I were you truly. Bravo~~

Wow. This is why I always tell people I am NOT a good guitarist. Amazing!

This is the definition of a true musician.
this guy came to my school for a basic flamenco workshop........mad awesome
That riff when his eyes roll back is insane
@sebastienaction- I believe it's called Farruca by the great Sabicas. This version is possibly the best execution I've heard of this piece of music.
Much better than what most people that call themselves "guitar players" when all they know how to do is strum a max of 7 chords on their steel string (which requires little to actual no talent at all) and then girls flock to them. We need more nylon string classical guitarist.
I usually listen to rock and stuff, but its impossible not to like this! :O
excellent ! I love your style, Russian flamenco!!!!!!!!!!!!Olé
My Word! Just Fantastic.

Man, there aren't enough people in the world that can actually play like this anymore.
Everyone's always turning up the distortion nowadays.
What an awesome talent! why people comment on his clothes is pure ignorance, he has an awe inspiring talent which should be the focus!
What an epic ending, this would have to be the best piece i heard from grisha, i know some people say he lacks the " flamenco soul " i can understand what is meant when one states that, But i hear flamenco for hours and i can actually be quite bored in the process of listening to some people, even Paco.
