I just found out about Grisha. His mastery strikes me like a thunder. Such a powerful and talented musician. Can't stop listening to his music. I've been sharing his videos with all my friends.
Awesome! He plays a piece by Rafael Riqueni- you will love his composing and playing. He’s got an album called Nuevos Medios. My favorite piece is Y Enomorarse. Almost reminds me of something that could fit in Cinema Paradiso. It’s so evocative. I need to try more of Riqueni’s albums. He’s a cut above flamenco composers but an amazing guitarist as well.
I discovered him a few years back, while searching other videos of Paco de Lucia. Amazing! He has quite a familiar beginning like Paco. His hard work and dedication and love for flamenco has perfected his playing !
Impressive ! I have never heard a more complete artist ever and I am 88 years old. I still play my old J50 Gibson guitar but , my God never came across such talent ! I am impressed !

I had the opportunity to see him live about 5 yrs ago, all I can say is REMARKABLE!!! I had seen all of his you tube vids before, live he so much more impressive, want badly to see him again one day after virus. His efforts on Impetu are truly impressive, Paco played it as well as it could be played, Grisha matches him and does so without capo, the added reach is done with same clarity and speed as Paco with capo, the piece I never get tired of watching Grisha play. 👏👌✌️😷
In my 58 years in the flamenco guitar building business I have seldom seen such love for the music as Grisha has for his guitar. I would gauge his playing technique to be between Paco's very staccato and Vicente's very fluid music. I think this gives more musical expression and yet doesn't damage the power and beauty of the flamenco idiom. Of course, the Lester DeVoe guitar is treated very well here.
Brings tears to my eyes hearing Sabicas compositions today. We are so lucky. I remember listening to Sabicas' records in the 80s with my brother, long before the internet. My heart swells hearing this today. ❤💔🎁
I like that he went into Almonte at 39:44, I've never seen anyone ever play that before? and he took it beyond! he did the whole falseta right. I like how he added on to it too, made it even better. Very grueling song.
Vicente Amigo, Antonio Rey, David Cerreduela, Niño de Pura, Manolo Franco, Luciano Ghosn, juan Manuel Cañizares, etc son guitarristas flamencos de la actualidad con un nivel técnico tan alto e incluso más que Grisha y que además interpretan repertosi de composiciones propias. Grisha toca muy bien pero no es el mejor guitarrista flamenco de la actualidad. se puede decir que en general es un gran guitarrista pro la faltan muchas cosas para ser uno de los mejores guitarristas flamencos. además de la composición propia, el acompañamiento al baile y al cante, cosas que él no domina.
@@pepenana2006 Lo considero porque me impactó mucho cuando lo veo tocar Y toca muy bien las canciones del paco superando incluso a algún intérprete del propio paco Para mi grisha es el mejor guitarrista de flamenco Evidentemente no voy a menospreciar a otros guitarristas flamencos como Antonio Rey Vicente amigo Luciano Goshn Juan Manuel Canizares
