So many different hues to share the same name. This one was really fun! My faves are Holbein, QOR and also Daniel Smith. I always enjoy PG8. Isaro and Michael Harding are lovely, but more like green gold and perylene green. Your swatch page will be a feast for the eyes come February. Thanks
So. Green is my favorite color. Kelly Green specifically, but all of the different ones are good. But in paint sap green is my favorite. Until Roman Szmal made AUTUMN GREEN!!!! It's like the final boss of natural sap greens. Sap Green X one million.
I would choose SZMAL as a Sap Green. Holbein's looks like a Hooker's Green... the ISARO looks like a Green Gold. Qor looks like Olive Green and all the rest are whack! Particularly Maimeri Blu! IMO 😉 Great video, really enjoyed this 👌
Thank you for a wonderful video. I have the Winsor and Newton and the Holbein Sap green and love them. From your collection, I also really liked the Old Holland and A. Gallo. But they are all beautiful!
Thank you very much for your video, sap green is a great color. My favorite, the one I have in my palette, is Holbein's. I have tried many and this is the one I prefer.
My go-to Sap Green is from Daniel Smith. Even though it’s a three pigment mix it is easily manipulated without going muddy. Another favorite is MGraham’s though it tends to be a bit lifeless in the page. After seeing this I’d be interested to try QoR’s version.
I think companies are using the name Sap green rather loosely lol. Like what's that Mainer Blue green?! Lol The only ones I'm liking here are Old Holland, Holbein and A. Gallo. The QoR is beautiful but looks more like DS Undersea Green. Speaking of DS, that's one of my favourite Sap Greens. Thanks for the comparison video. 😊
I have both DS Undersea Green and QoR Sap Green, they are very different from each other when you see them side by side. The DS is darker, earthier and with clear ultramarine granulation, and the QoR, while leaning more olive than the others in the video, is a clear Sap Green that's is smooth, with much more yellow than the DS one. Hope that helps! ☺️
Thank you for the great video. All are unique and pretty in their own way but for me it has to be Old Holland, Holbein and M Graham. Keep up the wonderful channel contact!🎨💕
QOR looks like an authentic SAP GREEN. Perhaps a slight Olive look… But I love it. Really rich. A Gallo & Old Holland look great too! THANKYOU Great Work 👏🏼
Some of my favorite sap greens are van Gogh (PY129 and PG7) and also Rembrandt (PY150 and PG7) by Royal Talens. They both are transparent and look really fresh, perfect for young leaves. 😊
Shoot - I was hoping Daniel Smith would have been one in the comparison. I really like the QOR and the Holbein, but I have such luck mixing with my WN. Fewer pigments in the formulation help.
Such pretty greens and agree with you 100% you could just use only a selection of these sap greens in a palette and you’d be set for greens! M Graham and M Harding are not my faves. Not vibrant or lush enough for me but could hold another place on a palette. I love Winsor & Newton, Old Holland, Holbein, and Daniel Smith (you need to get that one too ha). Used to favor Sap Green Light on Roman Szmal but now Autumn Green has replaced it.
I have a pg 8 that came in the mission pure pigment set they call it bamboo green. The problem with pg 8 although a beautiful colour in person is that it is less lightfast than the more modern mixes. With mission most of their colour have 3 stars but the pg 8 is only 2 stars.
I have no Sap Green in my collection, I find too difficult to understand what real Sap Green looks like😅. Here I see 13 different greens, my favorite is Old Holland but I would buy it if it didn’t cost so much 😅

Nice choices! I love so many for different reasons. Thank you
My favorite is Daniel Smith. A constant in my palette. ❤
Think I will have to check out Daniel Smiths Sap green. Thank you.
Came here to say that!!
Came here wondering why Daniel Smith wasn't included. Great video. ❤❤❤
I want to get the Sap green from A Gallo at some point when I get the chance 😊
Thank you for a helpful comparison video 🌸
AGallo is a beautiful watercolor. Great choice. Thank you Cillas.

I’m really loving my greens, Autum green is lovely, I have it. Thank you Amy.

Great video, really enjoyed this 👌
Lovely choice, they all are so different. Thank you.
Thank you for a wonderful video. I have the Winsor and Newton and the Holbein Sap green and love them. From your collection, I also really liked the Old Holland and A. Gallo. But they are all beautiful!
Lovely choices you have! I’m so into green lately. Thank you Sigrid.
Thank you very much for your video, sap green is a great color. My favorite, the one I have in my palette, is Holbein's. I have tried many and this is the one I prefer.
I have a sweet spot for Holbein! Great pick! Thank you Maria.

Qor is a favorite of mine. Thank you. I did get Daniel Smith and it’s a beautiful tone. Thank you so much.
My favorite is Daniel Smith sap green.
Thank you for your pick!
Holbein sap green is my top pick! But I also love and use Qor, W&N and DS.
Love Holbein, great choices! Thank you.
I use Daniel Smith but of those I like Holbein.
I’m going to have to investigate DS Sap green, everyone is saying it’s good. Thank you Karen.
I love AGallo
You just can’t go wrong with AGallo paint, just beautiful. Thank you.

Great picks! So unique each is. Thank you
QOR looks like an authentic SAP GREEN.
Perhaps a slight Olive look… But I love it.
Really rich.
A Gallo & Old Holland look great too!
THANKYOU
Great Work 👏🏼
I think Qor is my go to, when I think of Sap green, great choices! Thank you Taven.

They sound lovely! Thank you.

Ya I’m going to have to get DS. Thank you for your picks.
Qor is definitely my favorite but Holbein's version is what I think of when I hear sap green 😊
Holbein is beautiful. Thank you.
I like the A. Gallo best followed by Old Holland and Holbein. The rest feel more like olive or perylene greens with one outright chromium oxide.
Love your choices. Thank you!
I love Daniel Smith sap green the best of all. Not sure why you did not show it here.
I just ordered DS Sap. I did not have it. I’ll do an update. Thank you.

I heard that the Daniel Smith one is good. Maybe just one more, lol. Thank you.
@@RaspberryColors yes ha. one more! ;)
I enjoy DaVinci best of those I have (w&n and mg). But on your comparison, I like Old Holland best.
Lovely selection. Thank you.
I’m noticing that my favorites seem to have py150, it just glows somehow! I have it on my pallet so I’ll be experimenting. Thanks so much! 🫶🏻
Awesome! It’s good to know what you like. Thank you.
❤

PG 8 is quite pretty, I too have heard it’s not as lightfast. We may need to test it. Thank you.
I love how dark PG8 can get.
I have no Sap Green in my collection, I find too difficult to understand what real Sap Green looks like😅. Here I see 13 different greens, my favorite is Old Holland but I would buy it if it didn’t cost so much 😅
It’s true. What is sap green? Lovely choice. Thank you.
Michael Harding looks more like Hookers Green.M. Graham and Holbein are my favorites. Mimari looks too much like Gouache.
Thanks for picking. There all look so different. I agree with the Mimari Blu, it has a heavy look. Thank you Lori.
