Isn't the Leica primarily a stills camera? Sure, it records video, but its functions are limited compared to other digital cameras. The camcorder, like the Leica, has functions that require expertise. If you don't have that expertise, it's not easy to produce good results. The full auto modes aren't substitutes for what professionals can do with the cameras. Best choice: use a good cellphone. It does what you want automatically.
This is LEICA's first video-specialized digital camera SL-2s. It gives really exotic and silky texture and amazing colour contrast that does not even require editing. Not for all people, but it really worth a money to casual users, family or newbie youtuber like me !
If you like and are used to the interface of your current Sony, you can look at the Xperia phones. Not really a fan of the 1 VI, though and not sure if the 5G bands they support work in South Korea. The camera and video comes from the Alpha team. Screen isn't as bright as the Samsung, though. Honestly, the best one for you is the one you're going to use. If it's too heavy or if battery life is too short or if it overheats too quickly while trying to capture 4K video, then you're not going to use it. I do tend to agree that you get what you pay for.
I agree! I am producing my most of videos with XF605 camcorders because others have battery and overheat issue. XF605 has monstrous battery life once it got fully charged and it never got overheat easily. For the Sony Vlog cam, it is super light and portable so I expected a lot when I purchased. But it performs really bad when it is lack of light or when I need to zoom something(4k resolution was not even possible). Not so suitable for outdoor&fun stuff !
