- Aegor Rivers (Bittersteel - a "Royal" bastardof King Aegon IV), of House Bracken, was always supportive of potential Rebellions against the Iron Throne, his main adversary & half brother Brynden Rivers (Bloodraven, another "Royal" bastard of King Aegon IV) of House Blackwood, continues to survive the test of time in the Books 📚, and is VERY influential to the current day. Bloodraven proved himself to be loyal to House Targaryen 🔥&🩸, and has crazy Warging & Green seeing 👀 abilities like no other, although not confirmed, a lot of us here believe (myself included) he poses as a Hedge Knight named Ser Maynard Plumm (another story altogether lol).
Plus, House Blackwood is genuinely the better pick anyway, they're one of maybe 3 Noble Houses 🏘 South of the Twins (House Frey) to still honor the Old Gods, and they're more mysterious and ancient than House Bracken, House Blackwood has given Westeros more to the Realm than those Horse F*ckers🐎 House Bracken 👎

And HBO has started by making the horse breeders look like clowns 🤡 In Every duel they fought 1vs1 Them horse breeders toke the W, Them ravens be sneaking and killing.

This is one the only non-Valyrian houses I approve of the Targaryen marrying into. The Blackwood would have latent skin changing abilities due to their first men lineage. And I feel like they’re more arcanely attuned compare to the Royces and Starks.
Just picture it, Targaryens who can warg into their dragons. Obviously, obviously, there would be some negative ramifications of this considering dragons can be passed down to new riders And that the current writer might have to contend with the lingering consciousness of the previous rider to warg into that dragon.
