Harley-Davidson speedometer repair - odometer LCD display replacement

👨‍🔧 This tutorial shows how to repair the instrument clusters of Harley-Davidson Sportster, Softail, Dyna and Road King with not working odometer LCD screen (the display is “bleeding” or unreadable), replacing the latter with Minitools SEPDISP64 display. If Harley-Davidson odometer is not working, fix it with Minitools display.
SEPDISP64 is adaptable to:
• Harley-Davidson Dyna 1340 Low Rider FXDL (models from 1994 to 1998);

I can’t say thank you enough for this video! I ended up getting the lcd panel from mini tools in Italy for my recently purchased 1998 Harley FXSTS that had an old unreadable odometer. After performing the steps shown here I now have a functional odometer that show the original mileage. She’s only got 12,800 original miles🤗

this will not work on a 98 sportster.totally differant setup.i just spent the money and took mine apart.

How so? I'm looking for a solution here, can't inspect the bike with an unreadable Odometer and really only inspecting it because my kid is now riding it and want to make it as close to legal as possible ;-)
