Thank you. I enjoyed the video. Could you share more examples and step-by-step processes on how exactly to design a web-site using the Golden Ratio principle? Like using grids, placing the UI elements, and so on.
I like this series. Thanks for sharing content like this! I went to design school and am now studying for a bachelor’s. Quite helpful being reminded of topics like this.
Wow, thanks for the vid, I was actually trying to apply it on figma and just realized the video was from figma at 6:00 when she said to apply in figma lol.
When you say ratio... it’s relationship between 2 objects...right? Then how can you just put spiral line on anything and say it’s a golden ratio? Examples shown in the videos are not correct I guess images.app.goo.gl/G8CdQ5FJZmdVPYXF7 This is golden ratio... isn’t it?
Yep, that's an example of it too! It's all about that ratio. There are people (and nautilus shells) whose makeup doesn't exactly correspond to the golden ratio, though, which is an important thing to remember too!
Thank you for this great video and for starting the series. I cannot wait for the rest :) One question though. In the font scale plugin there are other options beyond Golden Ratio, when would one choose one of those over the Golden Ratio?
Can you create a practical tutorial on applying font scale plugin on creating a figma design and teaching us what scale ratio (font size, font weight, font family) should we apply on title, subtitle, paragraph or card components (title, subtitle, padding, margin, space, negative space, grid, layout, etc) 🙄🙄🙄
I wanna know how the golden ratio will help me to decide where to place texts, button, images, etc...
AWESOMEEE. This is so cool. Looking forward to more episodes!!

The golden ratio isn't the only ratio in nature. There are a few others. So don't look at it as the golden standard, but as a tool in your toolkit.
What are the others

This is awesome, this is what I wanted as a person using Figma with no design background
Love the idea of this series.
Thank you Figma! Very interesting!
Great description of important elements and how they are created. Super helpful!
This is explained so well, looking forward to more videos in this series 😎
Awesome! Glad it was helpful! 😄

great job. you make it easy to understand in a clear and concise way. Thank you.
Fun fact. The golden ratio point of earth is exactly in Mecca, more specifically at the kaabah (the black cube Muslims pray towards).
Cool series, thanks for this.
is there playlist about *Principles of Design* or which is playlist the The golden Ratio's come from and thanks
Really great series. I'm eager to see more!
Great tips! It would be nice to see Figma being able to work alongside with Suitcase Fusion for auto-activation for fonts like Sketch does
Great explanation and presentation :) Thanks Nannearl

This is golden ratio... isn’t it?
They explain it in the video: the spiral is called the golden spiral and its parts' radii relationship is 1.618....

Nice, thanks.
Seems the plugin is outdated? Getting a 404 error
Thanks
