Mohammed Muhi Uddin hahaha i know! like i knew i was a guy with a sword killing zombies, but i never knew the plot of games hahah. i was too dopey to comprehend anything that was a “story”. I wasn’t truly dumb or retarded, i just had trouble comprehending. Its so weird seeing this demo.. i randomly got in the mood to look at old games, to kinda feel nostalgic, and it dawned on me that i remember having these demo disks on ps1 and ps2, so i looked it up and as soon as i saw this characters goofy skull face, and the way he runs around with the sword, i instantly got hit with NOSTALGIA to the 1000th degree! like, i can remember being in my room in my childhood room, and probably was playing this after i ate breakfast while watching dexters lab INTENTLY! hahaha
Ouu yea, I had a demo disc with couple of games but I would always play this one, first few times I was scared of those zombie things, later I remember at certain point game stops and some big bug things show up on screen, that scared me
Bro the nostalgia is unreal. This is something I haven’t thought of in like 20 years. Never thought I’d see and hear these things again. I’m feeling things I never thought I’d feel ever again. Thank you for this.
I used to try and play this super fast, thinking that if I was quick enough I could play the full game, as if the disk had the full game on it to begin with and only allowed us a short time to play the game since it was a demo lol. I was a stupid child.
Me too! I even tried to remember metal gear solid’s name, I kept calling it snake after the game’s protagonist, until smash bros brawl when I finally remembered the Pizza Hut demo disc that had this game, metal gear solid, and crash bandicoot warped. Dad used to get these Pizza Hut Demi CD’s just so we could find out about the next crash bandicoot.
LMAO, my aunt also worked at Pizza Hut and gave me this demo disc!!! My cousin and I would play this, metal gear and gran turismo nonstop. Still have this disc in my collection.
This Demo fascinated me so damn very much I wanted the full version as soon as possible which I got eventually for Christmas. And the second one couple of years after also.
I used to play this when I was around 14-15 years old. I am now 35. I loved it! I really did enjoy so so much my PlayStation 1!!!! It's funny how the years pass so fast. MediEvil was a little spooky for me back at the time, but at the same time so incredibly fascinating!
the nostalgia is so crzy with this demo... why do some things just have more nostalgia than others?? its a sceince to it i swear, this game put you in a different world.
I played this on ps1 on the demo disc. Thank god my dad worked his ass off to let us play this stuff. I remember getting my ps1 on Christmas like 1999. Playing these games has given me the greatest nostalgia any millennial has ever had. I miss this days. So innocent and free. Thank you for the memories.
Interesting to me that all the music is different than the actual game, I mean, they're all actual tracks from the game, just placed in different spots for their normal levels and areas. Never played any of the demo's for MediEvil, just the actual game.
Me and my 2 best friends played this demo disk over and over when we got off work trying to see how far we could get. We had a xenogears demo disk as well that we played. This brings back soany memories tyvm
what i wouldnt do to be a little kiddo again and re play this masterpiece, i could be at school and not stop thinking about going home and playing for 8 hours straight, great times
Me lol. I looked this up because I remember the ps1 demo being a tad bit longer. Or at least had sections not present in the PS4 demo. I recall being able to access a room with some ghost playing on the piano. Just making sure its not the Mandela Effect at play again
The first zombie scared the shit out of me, but somehow everytime I got past him, then I just went nuts and slayed them all. But those zombies on the 3rd level (hill with rolling stones) really scared me because they sounded soo creepy and disturbing
The title intro musoc on this demo is much better than the full releases, in my opinion. It has an adventurous vibe with a creepy undertone, makes you feel ready for the story and game ahead....oh the nostalgia!! 😢😊
Games used to have so much atmosphere and identity, and this was only just the demo! As a kid, I played this over and over but I was always too slow to get to the Hilltop Mausoleum. The surrounding darkness of the levels and even around the pictures on the loading screen were scary to me, as well as Zarok's design and voice. I also remember somewhere in the Graveyard level that there was a giant zombie somewhere?? I played this on the Interactive CD Sampler Volume 9 demo disc
i had this demo in an old JAMPACK disc, it had Spider-Man, Ape Escape 2, some nascar game, and this, and this was a demo id play nonstop along with spiderman
Dude i dont think i even got past the boulders falling down the hill part of the demo. I was so young at the time and had little skill of playing video games. This is nostalgic.
@@PlayStationPaul Back when PlayStation 1 games, including demos of games like this one was important and significant than any other PlayStation 1 game during the 1990s and the beginning of the early 2000s.
This game will always have a place in my heart, it’s one of the first games I remember when I got the ps1 and it was a demo, it scared the shit outta me, but I would always play it lol, years later it crosses my mind and I search up the remastered and trying to explain to my fiancé how scared I was of this game, she goes like what this is nothing, then I look up the original one and she goes like okay yeah I can see how this would creep you out lol

I bought this game for my young kids way back 20 years ago but I got drawn to it spending many late nights being addicted until I FINALLY reached the end and got the Prize :)

I remember this game being on a demo disc. I was always fascinated by this game, although I never got to play the full game took me years to find the name of the game again
I always remembered this demo, because I desperately wanted to play the full game. I didn't knew its name as I wasn't even able to read yet. When I told a friend about a skeleton ps1 game, he not only told me its name in an instant, but also about the remake. Didn't even take 10 minutes for me to look it up and order it online lol. An opportunity to awaken my 3-4 year old self from over 20 years ago!
I had the game Demo disc for this but it has about 20 demos on it all in one and this was one of my favourites to play. My all time favourite on that one disc though was Ghost in the Shell.
Dude I don't even think I got a life bottle playing this as a kid. I was just running around getting stuck places lmao. Probably didn't even know it was the demo because I wouldn't have gotten that far anyway. Incredibly old memory.
What is the demo called? Anyone know??
It's from this crimson-ceremony.net/demopals/eurodemo/index.php?img=uk103#SCED-04082

Why did the full release game change the main menu music?
IMO, this one sounds way better.
This video is my childhood incarnate.

The demo menu theme is what is now the Crystal Caves theme
It is the first song I remember enjoying in my childhood. Got shocked to see that they cut it off from the final version of the game.
