My favorite part of WAR is hearing the expert say what not to do, to cutting to the guys doing that exact thing. And I can’t believe Rachel just remembers it to make sure she gets the footage for the edit. Genius!!

I love when we can hear Rachel in the background, or they’ll show her and she’s just like, “Idkkkkk🤷♀️” or “WHAT ARE YOU DOING🤦♀️”😂😂😂
Becky is really good at interviewing/guiding, particularly when she catches technical terms and asks for clarification for the audience.
I have always admired this about Becky; it's something I see in Rainie as well!

I'm a theatre producer and I am just so inspired by how amazing Rachel is at production. I can't even imagine juggling so many moving parts of something like WAR on top of whatever else she's producing for them + being a mother. She's such a badass!

I love how you can tell Rachel just loves the guys so much. The way she speaks of them is as if they were her own little brothers, who need some guidance, as well as sometimes messing with them.
I knew Rachel did a lot or the try team but my goodness! She is so incredibly dedicated to her job. Hats off to her.

One of the things i've always been so fascinated by is whether the demo comes before the shoot with the guys or vice versa. The way they flow narratively is always so seamless. Rachel and the rest of the team are such pros. They make such quality work.
The way she just remembers what the guys do during their cooking and then later prompts the experts to further explain why not to do something one of them clearly did!
Ex. Eugene's wet fondant w/ Jonny Cakes
as someone who has made croissant dough once and has since just bought premade dough from the freezer aisle: rachel is cruel for making the guys do croissant and I can’t WAIT to watch next season of WAR oh my god

Frozen Eggo waffles are good for teething toddlers! My mom runs a daycare and there was a period where she had like 4 toddlers and we went through Eggo waffles like nothing 😂

Love Rachel. She’s the heart of Second Try, in my humble (and completely irrelevant) opinion. I appreciate all that she does, and she comes across as a true creative genius the more she reveals, honestly.
By the way, Becky NEEDS to do her candy corn idea! I think it’d be comedy gold, and I think she should have more confidence in her own delivery! 💜
I always love seeing Rachel on the show and getting her unique perspective of working with the Try Guys. I especially liked getting the behind the scenes for how they come up with the creative takes on all the recipes. I always wondered why their ideas were so wild and nothing close to whatever would be traditional with that dish. It makes a lot more sense now that Rachel explained it isn't a cooking contest, it's a tv show.

WAR is the best kind of fun chaos content and it's amazing to hear how rachel plans for it. whether it's buying ingredients on the fly or asking for weird expert soundbites i give all the kudos for all the work that goes into getting the most entertaining results. like rachel said, it's about making a tv show for us as viewers, even if it means causing pain to niki/food experts; tysm for everyone's commitment and effort to making WAR such a blast to watch!

Was also gonna comment this! I’ve had strawberry, pineapple, and cinnamon/raisin/pecan ones before. Also incorporating a sweet sauce like dulce de leche or cajeta (goat milk based) is very common too. I’m sure Matt would love all those flavors lol

Sweet tamales! I just remembered those, most restaurants that I go to don't make them. Yearss ago my Spanish teacher's wife came in, and we got to eat her homemade savory and sweet tamales during class which were both so delicious!
