You're right dude, I've totally been sampling some different d&b or jungle style brakes into other production works, and there's an endless world of possibilities, basically infinite by the number of producers out there if they could all get their hands on it. it's kind of cool how the creative aspect of one set of tones or colors or images can be rearranged by an artist to produce a unique effect. This is one of the things that I love so much about sampling, and remixing samples. I love your freestyle!
Spot on. Give 10 great producers the same drum break and you can expect 10 widely different beats. It's great to see drummers take that producer mindset behind the kit whether that's mixing their limbs with each other, creating electronic sounds acoustically or recreating those beats! Plus Richard is one of the coolest guys around! Thanks dude!
excellent archaeological exploration of an influential beat.
Love me some Spaven! haha!
Gorgeous

Art (samplers) imitating life (Winstons Amen break) imitating Art. ( modern drummers drawing from sampled D&b breaks)
