Although this vehicle is fitted with and iPe exhaust, it still uses the factory exhaust valve actuators. So checking tension on the spring will be relevant if you have a standard exhaust with the annoying cold start rattle.

LOL i have the same problem in my Mustang GT, while its cold something is rattling like hell back there, but once it warms up the sound stops, pain the ass lol

2:56 there’s a slight chirp from what I’d assume is the actuator(because my 2016 M235i has been making the exact same sound) Was this fixed after the rattle was addressed as well?

Hey, I was just wondering if you can freely move the valves when the car is off (from open to closed) by moving the lever connected to the valve manually.
This was filmed quite a while a go, but i do remember one of the valves moving at some point. However not sure if its ok for the solenoid.
@@ZeroTo60Tube I sorted it out! It does seem to be open when the car is off, and closes immediately after you turn it on.
Almost bought an M2 Comp, but decided to modify my 335 instead, and no regrets!

Zero To 60 yall should do a full m3 control arm kit, with some coil overs. Changes the car like crazy

@@ZeroTo60Tube thanks, still running sick no O2 yet, want to change coils n plugs but nervous about delivery, thinking NGK for both as I can get them locally. My MHD logs show 2nd O2 bank readings 30% lower.
@@pulsechainpete3808 30% lower is a problem. The JB4 would go in to a safety mode if the car was doing that. It's probably just the sensor, but don't thrash it too much or at all, until you get that new sensor in and you see some safe numbers.

Zero To 60 M2 competition.. sold that and went back to an OG m2 LCI

@@BrianJohnson-kh7mg the OG m2 had more soul. It was less refined and in my opinion that’s what made it better
It didn’t lack power or presence. I found it to be perfect

This exhaust flap rattle is now very loud on my 2008 335XI car (The first year of this problem apparently). But Lo and Behold the aftermarket world has a FIX! (Of course it far too much money IMHO lol). Here it is! (I had thought my turbos were blown lol). ruclips.net/video/g1E3gpfrk1o/видео.html
