I got to Kansai airport at 7:10 am for the 9:55 am return flight. In the video, you can see the airport was really busy when I got there. Even though there was a big line at the check-in counter, I managed to check in my luggage and grab a meal before my flight. It's better to plan for at least 3 hours because Japan is getting crowded, especially during the holiday season in December. Thanks for watching and have a great trip to Japan!
Hi I am planning to take same flight to Osaka from SIN. Do I need to collect back my luggage and check in again at KUL? Upon arrival at KUL do I need to pass through Malaysia immigration? How was your overall experience transit at KUL? Enough time for transit or too rush? Tks for sharing this video!
I didn't check in my luggage for this connecting flight, but the MAS crew told me that they will transfer all the luggage to the next flight. You don't have to pass through the Malaysia immigration, just stay inside and go to the gate for the next flight to Osaka. The time was sufficient for the transfer, but MAS changed the gate last minute and everyone had to rush to the other end of the airport for the new gate. The plane will not fly when everyone is still rushing to the new gate, so no worries. Enjoy your trip!
Do u mean take bus to other terminal and pick up your luggage and re check in again for flight from KUL to KIX? I am Malaysian, do I need to pass through customs again at KUL? How much time needed for layover at KUL? 2 hr connect in airport is it possible? Tks!
In terms of value for money, I don't think that paying more for Singapore Airlines would be significantly different from choosing Malaysia Airlines. Thanks for your comment!

MH has better meal & bigger portion compared to SQ for flights to Tokyo.
I've also heard that the standards of SQ have declined. Thanks for sharing your experience!
