. . . ooooh, I luv when a husb comes on once in a while to complement a "Super Gal" . . . also, luv your pre-prepped spices on the counter...you two make a great team, Amy . . . God Bless You Both So Much... 🥰🥰🥰
You have so many nice things to say. We have learned a lot about this lifestyle since our humble beginnings in 2012. We love sharing tips with our Green Warriors. I agree that we make a great team. We each have different strengths and together, we make one fantastic person.😊 Thanks for watching. I hope to see you on the next broadcast! Be Strong, Be Well and Be Green!🌱
Rick & Amy, the Ozzie & Harriet of the plant-based community! Absolutely A-DORABLE! Job well done, Rick! My key take away, Amy: "And did it taste good?", Rick: "NO!"🤣🙃Wonderful broadcast! Thank you, Sistah, and cheers to Rick!💚💚
Greenings Sistah! Thanks for your kind words and for watching Rick's debut! Yup, SOS Free didn't taste good - at first. I'm looking forward to having you back on the show in October! Be Strong, Be Well and Be Green!🌱
. . . so sorry to hog your comments, but you two are the VERY BEST Husband/Wife team - from his amazing talent in the kitchen & both of your optimal health knowledge to Amy's beautiful smile & personality....just can't get enough...btw, on the apple cores for your furry baby, is there no concern about the toxicity of the seeds? Love you both, so much... 🥰🥰🥰
You are not hogging comments😊. I love when people give us feedback! Thank you for your kind words. I am very fortunate to be married to the love of my life and greatly admire Rick's many talents. To clarify, Zeus, our 7 pound dog does not eat the whole apple core with the seeds. They are left over from a recipe. When it is time for Zeus to eat the apple, they are cut into tiny pieces and the seeds and stem are discarded. Zeus loves apples and they make a wonderful, healthy treat for dogs. We make all of his food and treats and he is loved very much. Thank you for bringing that to our attention as many people may not know to discard the seeds.😊 Thanks for watching! Be Strong, Be Well and Be Green!🌱
. . . oh dear, Amy, I just went to your Amazon shop & just got carried away...the choppers, that great bamboo chopping board with graters & storage bins - just too much fun ... I just know I am at least going to buy several of your goodies !!! 🥰🥰🥰
I'm glad you enjoyed the shop. We rarely go out to eat so I feel that we are saving sooo much money! I consider these gadgets and appliances an investment in our health journey. They make food prep and storage so much easier giving us more time for self care. Let me know what you decide to get! Be Strong, Be Well and Be Green!🌱
@@BeGreenWithAmy ...totally agree . . . great tools in our optimal health lifestyle....as soon as I sent my hubby image of the amazing cutting board, he immediately said to order it right away...now, my only prob is a blessing in disguise as I have to go thru my kitchen cabinets & purge out all my old, infrequently used gadgets to make room for so many of those wonderful tools in your Amazon shop... 🥰🥰🥰
You have a nice hubby too! It's always a good idea to clean out the cabinets. It gives us an opportunity to re-organize things as we make room for improvements in our kitchen tool arsenal as well as our health. Enjoy! Be Strong, Be Well and Be Green!🌱
There are 18 recipes in the book. We enjoy these recipes as they are sos free and delicious. Rick curated this book because he wanted to share the recipes with people, like us, who want to reduce/eliminate added salt, eliminate oil and unhealthy sweeteners, without compromising taste. I'm so glad you found our channel and are joining this wonderful community of Green Warriors. Rick will be on again at the end of the month to share more recipes. Be Strong, Be Well, Be Green!🌱
It would have been better to add ground mustard and vinegar. We occasionally use condiments with added salt. When we do use them, we do not exceed more than 300mg per day, which follows Dr. Joel Fuhrman's protocol. Thanks for commenting. Be Strong, Be Well and Be Green!🌱
You are correct! Mustard can be considered both a spice and a condiment, depending on its form. Mustard seeds are classified as a spice. When the seeds are mixed with water, vinegar, and other ingredients, it becomes a condiment. Thanks for watching! Be Strong, Be Well and Be Green!🌱

@@BeGreenWithAmy Thank you !!
If you don't normally add mustard , I wouldn't. Your just adding more salt. Just my opinion
