No offense Vin, but this video is better than anything Hoonigan has put out in a long time. As far as the vlog style is concerned, it's interesting to know your take on the enthusiast market imo and I know you're passionate about it too so it's not forced. It could be cool to see you discussing it with other industry people. Cool to see the local scene as well. Whatever happens on the channel, thanks for sharing!
I didn’t event consider mods! That is a great topic. I’ve actually done really well with modding cars but I think my car was cheaper cause of all its mods. Crap! How did I not consider that 😂a
Great down to earth video, and great content man 👍 and please do more collabs with DDE, I think they also need a part time marketing person to attract more sponsors 😉
Loving the vlog and brain vomit. It's fun to hear what drives you and what's on your mind. Keep em coming! Fun seeing how you afford such awesome vehicles
I hope so too. Hoonigan was special because they had corporation-sized budget but made content like a bunch of knuckleheads who love cars. We probably won’t see that happen ever again, but if the former Hoonigan and adjacent RUclipsr hosts could all build a new culture of content in the same vein (but on a smaller scale) then the value given to the global car enthusiast culture will be immeasurable. I think if anyone can pull it off, it’s Vin.
i can already speculate the future... DDE gets the old hoonigan warehouse, (which we already know.) DDE already has mike essa and he's currently moving his shop to the new location, and then DDE builds even further by carrying on as DDE, BUT by getting some OG hoonigan boys to intergrate into the business as well to do what ken WOULD HAVE WANTED, and i for one cant wait.. thinking about it now... you guys are literally making 2024 the best year for hoonigan viewers and DDE viewers. keep pushing guys, ill buy into any and everything!!
@@Bahncos I don't think that will happen, but I think everyone will be welcome to go shred some tires with DDE anytime they want. They can have a "mi casa tu casa" relationship.
Vin is keeping the spirit of Hoonigan alive. We don't care about brands and corporations and all that other bullshit. It's just car stuff for car people by someone who actually cares about cars. Thank you Vin. It's great seeing all the fellas looking happy and well.
People want to watch someone who’s authentic, someone they like. Let viewers guide you on what’s valuable, but know that a good chunk of the appeal is just being authentic about the stuff you dig. A crispy edit doesn’t hurt either.
As one of the older guys here (probably), giving advice to help get people in cars so they can get out driving I feel would be a good thing. There are a lot of people that look to people like you, Hert, Zach, and even Scotto for what to do on their cars. Not a lot of info out there on how to get a car, how to make the most of your money to get on track. All the hidden cost to get on a track event is a surprise to most, they think they can just show up, pay an entry fee, and let it roll... Help keep car culture alive!
Not gonna lie this is definitely the content I enjoy most. A brain dump conversation, that is incredibly relatable! Probably speaks on 80% of car guys out there!
It’s interesting that you have the same fears driving your $250k 3RS that I have in my M6 2000 Firebird Formula. I’m constantly checking the mirrors at stop lights to see if someone is coming in hot. A few other things. 1. Most of us won’t ever have a car this valuable so I appreciate you sharing this insight. 2. The repaint tips are awesome. 3. Thank you for covering several of the things I mentioned in my comment from your prior vid, especially the C&C. 4. It’s always great seeing the OG Hoonigan dudes. 5. Most importantly, most of us appreciate you doing your own thing. You’ve been making content for several years and have the freedom to create content you may have wanted to do for years. Looking forward to those ideas becoming a reality!
@@vin_tra True. From experience, I'll add a few more - 1.) You're going to get small rock chips no matter how hard you try not to. 2.) Even if you park it far away from other cars, someone will park next to you. 3.) speed bumps that you didn't expect, and have to take at an angle. 4.) You're not going to want to drive it in the rain.
probably means nothing to most watching this video but the fact that you’re sitting next to a mk4 while recording this makes my heart happy and shows the world goes full circle in life.
I’m looking forward to how shocked you will be with how well your channel performs. My favourite Hoonigan videos were always because of the personalities of the people on camera. Guys like yourself, Hert, Zac, Danger Dan, etc.. May not be the numbers you’re used to now but I don’t see why it won’t get get there. You’ve got the recipe and experience. Happy to keep coming back!
I think at some point Hoonigan is going to realise that people didn't subscribe and watch simply because of the name. Really looking forward to watching this channel grow.
You've stumbled upon such a cool niche with your channel already Vin. You're knowledge of cars and taste in general is hugely impressive, but I think (for me personally), your ability to chop and change cars has given you a far better understanding of the market than most. Keep it up, truly inspiring watching you! And your garage is the dream!
This vlog style is what is needed in the automotive community, as you said there are so many amazing RUclips channels that cover great builds but the average person can’t afford to build those cars without sponsors etc etc. you idea of talking about what it would take to buy/afford cars from a low to high scale would hit the nail on the head IMO
Does anyone have some insights on why hoonigan has gone to shit? Everybody is talking about that it's since they belong to wheelpros but I had the feeling it was already going down beforehand. Also why wheelpros has allegedly such a bad influence on their content? Why specifically? And why did they sell the shop? So many questions and sadly they don't seem to care enough about their original fanbase to explain it themselves..
Basically you're right. They were sold to Wheel Pros and after that things've changed. You have to understand that before that it was Ken and Brian that defined the kind of crazy content that we know for years. So now that they sold the company they have to follow rules put by the buyers that don't want the "Hoonigan" kind of content. Is more "arbitruary" and "responsable". And for the worst they started to doing the worst brand deals with huge car companies in the "This vs. That" like that Kia EV vs. Ferrari. We don't even have the crew working on cars anymore. So the guys that were part of the series basically quit and started their own things. What Wheel Pros didn't realized is that Hoonigan is not only a brand, is the people behind the scene and in front of the camera. @@Harry_Gersack
@@ADSImagens hmm responsible is not the first thing for me that comes to mind when thinking about how the content has changed. For me it feels like the videos are lower effort and more for the broad masses and not for the real car guys anymore. I know renting an airport or building a dirt track is not the least effort you can put in a video. But I see it like that: they rent the location and then they do the races and in one day they can get content for like 10 videos or so. I think compared to the hoonage and scumbaggery we know from years ago, that this is a easy way for them to make content. And from a technical perspective the videos have gotten really shallow. Not the true car guy content anymore. Probably helps to reach more viewers.. On the other hand I've recently rewatched a view daily transmissions from the donut garage and some of them had much more views than the videos from now
The point about mileage is so solid. Cars that have been driven have had some attention paid to them (especially older enthusiast cars). Plus, leaving a car sitting without taking care of it is potentially one of the worst things you can do to it aside from actually wrecking it.
I was about to comment this on the Goodbye to Hoonigan video but I was afraid it was gonna get lost and figured I had a better chance of you reading this here so.. I never really cared for Hoonigan but I saw you appear in the DDE video so I decided to watch this and man, you seem like one of the most genuine, down to earth, sensible, full of emotion guys I’ve ever come across and even tho I don’t know you all that well, I wish you all the best on your journey and I hope you achieve everything in life that you desire and wish for. And whatever happens I’m sure that, like me, a lot of people will stick along for the ride brother. 🙌🏻
Cool cars, always. What I really enjoyed was the community and social aspect of it. Dropping in to see what others are up to, going to cars-n-coffee, driving, while your main story was talking about the financial risks of expensive cars. I guess that would be called the "B story". A lot of other RUclips channels out there seem like they are working in isolation because it never shows them interacting with the larger community except to do collaborations that feel too staged.
Personally I find that following someone on the inside of the car scene, watching them meet people, see their cars and share their opinions makes for the best content. I really loved Hoonigan's Carcain Abroad series and Scotto's Van series, and this video reminds me of those. Something about simplicity and honesty and real life setting makes it enjoyable. I would gladly watch more vids in the similar format, and if you go on a road trip, make sure to film it aswell.
So i only discovered you with the recent DDE vid and have to say your vlogs are perfect for where you are at. It gives you momentum and freedom to grow in certain directions, and you are naturally really talented at talking to camera and sharing your enthusiasm. Keep going!
You are in a unique position compared to other RUclipsrs and that is, your viewers are invested in you as a person. Your time on Hoonigan gave us all a chance to get to know you and feel as if you're a "friend" so to be honest, most of us are just curious what you're doing on a day-to-day. RUclips viewers are a voyeuristic bunch and we enjoy living vicariously thru the lives of people we relate to, & the same is especially true for car guys. We can't afford all the cars we really want so we enjoy watching others do it. Unfortunately for you that means you should just be a vlogger. Show us what you're doing. Even if it seems boring and mundane to you, it's a distraction from our own boring lives to watch how you live yours. I'm sure I speak for a lot of your fans when I say, we're just curious how you make a living playing with cars since that's all any of us really want to do ourselves. The other thing I'll say is, take advantage of your relationships with the OG Hoonigan crew and introduce us to your other car guy personalities. There are 2 keys to a successful RUclips channel; being good at what you do (I think that counts you out as a car builder ;-) sorry) and being an entertaining personality (that's your bread and butter). Jimmy Oakes channel does well because he's pretty good at both but where he really shines is his crew of friends that all seem to be having a good time playing with cars. Show us you and your friends having a good time playing with cars. We'll watch that, promise.
Doubt I'll ever own a super car but i dig leaning anything i can automotive wise. I'd like to see videos on all the stuff you mentioned, especially how to flip cars successfully. Also, you're killing it cinematicly IMHO. I've enjoyed all the videos so far, keep it up man.
The fact of flipping car has always been fun for me. And finding new cars to buy. Keeping up with the Cali car scene is always great to watch. Thanks for coming back online!
These types of videos are exactly what we want, car based videos but with the social aspect of car life and making money with cars, driving cars, the dogs, everything, even the editing is top notch. Keep up the great work
You are doing the thing already. You are a part of the automotive cultural phenomenon that was Hoonigan. You stay connected with your friends from there, you buy cars because of your passion, you have your own unique perspective, and you're used to talking to camera. My deepest hope is that the lot of you guys all figure out that your contributions to that entity are valuable on their own as well and deserve their own deep dives. The "Oh, that's just Vin being Vin" or "Scotto being Scotto" brush offs to keep to the Hoonigan format doesn't apply anymore. You've got the content built in, and people will either stay because they enjoy it or not. Stop caring about what you think people want and just do you. And bring a camera. The rest will sort itself out. The happiest content creators are the most genuine ones. Hell, we saw Suppy smile today.
I've commented the same thing under a lot of other comments on this video, but: I agree. Haha! Refreshing to see the wholesomeness of the people in here.
I love this kind of content. Hearing about how to flip cars and make money is definitely something I'm interested in. I suffer greatly from scope creep and can't leave anything not perfect, so I feel like I always spend way too much on a project.
In terms of content ideas for the channel, I think a bi-weekly/ monthly podcast with literally anyone interesting of your choice would be pretty cool, sitting back, relaxing and just talking about cool cars, good times, and having some laughs. Very enjoyable content dude, glad you’re doing your own thing!
This content is brilliant, its refreshing and honest. The editing is great, the mix of informative content and more personal stuff with seeing your dogs and Amy and the familiar faces is a nice balance. You're one of the big reasons I enjoyed DT so much and I'm glad you're still making content
I recently sold a low mileage E46 M3 6MT coupe. All original paint, no accidents, no scratches, lots of nice OEM+ extras... I enjoyed driving the car, but only for joyrides and not on the track, because I didn't want to take the chance of getting it damaged. Knowing that the car would have been practically impossible to replace and a lot of its value was because of the mileage and condition took the fun out of owning it. I bought a 2020 M2C and I'm finally having fun behind the wheel.
video style, pacing, and editing are killer for vid number 3!! just remember lighting, a couple shots at the start have you super dark vs your background. Can't wait for more content!
Vin, you can brain dump ANYTHING and you will get 100k views and I for sure will be here. Thank you for picking up the camera and continuing on. This was truly enjoyable to watch!
Whatever you call this vlog/vibe works really well IMO. Your authenticity is what gets the views. It'd be dope to learn about the buying aspect, the driving, or even previous work you've done before, like you mentioned body/paint experience. Had no clue. Good luck and honestly at this point I'm supporting almost anything ya post.
Just keep doing you and don't stop because everyone loves to hear what you gotta say! I've been watching you for years now and I along with many other love watching every minute! You are every smart and funny, so don't every stop being you! Mad love and respect brother!
This was such refresher for me. Thank you for sharing some knowledge, I can’t even begin to explain how well this video was able to grab my attention and keep it. Already these couple videos have been great to watch, I’ll definitely always be quick to watch any more to come when I see them.
Hit the nail on the head on multiple fronts. The struggle is real with having the car and having to think about the "what ifs" before every drive or having to think about if there is safe parking near your destination. Makes jumping in a Raptor or overland Cayenne Diesel the decision 9 time out of 10.
I feel this video so hard. I have a small collection, and I drive all of them, some more than others. Yet every time I think of selling one…I…just…can’t…. Great video!
Woke up early to watch this first thing! Turned out great, really informative without being just a sit-and-talk video. The pacing kept my attention. Also dogs.
Happy to watch you drop any type of knowledge I think you've done things a lot of people aspire to do, whether that's flipping cars up to your dream car, your job at Hoonigan or simply just owning tastefully modded cars. I think casual / honest conversations about any of this is great content
I like Vinney Aneistrat. More please! Very interesting topic in this video, and the other stuff you mentioned for the future, too. And it's great to see some of the guys again (especially Kyle *KEE KEE!* , Suppy and Grim). Even the "new guys", Angelo, Trevor and co., who we didn't get to know much, all seem chill, are nice appearances. Oh and Zac, of course, was forgetting about him, 'cause he was one of the last ones to "leave". The fact that you care, and worry, about the content you put out (like you talk about @16:50) is enough for me to watch and follow you.
Vin. Thank you ! Love this vid!! My recommendation, throw in some slice of life… restaurant recommendations, keep the car content you got that on lock. Make this more of a real “this is me” channel. I think people can and will relate. And will keep watching
You hit it right on the nail. I just landed on your channel today and I went through all FIVE of your new vlogs in one setting. Never heard about you before but I do know about Hoonigan because of Ken Block so I watched. And to be honest, your vids are really great. Your mix of content between car projects and sharing personal knowledge of car related info really drew me into this channel. Keep it going. I think you have something great brewing. I’ll keep watching and following, which is something I hardly consistently do with other channels.
Bro I just started watching your channel and been catching up on older videos. I see you ask the follower what we would like to see. But honestly just be you do you. That’s why I stayed. Everyone one RUclips just recycles everyone’s material and it’s got boring. Just do you bro 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Appreciate a video like this, especially from someone like yourself who’s been around some of the biggest pieces of the car community! You know a lot more about these things than all these new podcasters lol
Video was dope, Vin. Very organic. That said, you nailed it about being stressed out about other people running into you. I just bought my dream car recently too and couldn’t agree more about the stress I feel just taking it out to enjoy on the streets. Majority of people are brain dead when it comes to driving and having basic awareness. That or they’re just tremendously distracted. Lol. Looking forward to more vids.
100% in for financial car move knowledge. Not enough people talk about how they went from say a 2k$ mk1 Gti to a e63 wagon… my own moves. But I probably could have done it faster or smarter if someone with the knowledge shared it with me back in the day. Keep this rad line of videos going!
Really enjoying your content so far. The people really made Hoonigan and some of the best vids were just random shit you guys were doing every day. Glad to see you back at it.
GREAT EVERYTHING!! I love the fact that you are very descriptive, how you like to go in depth with details and doing so naturally in any environment that you are at. I would only suggest you get a mic so that we can hear you better on noisy environments. Don't get me wrong, I love engine sounds! But I also like to hear what you've got to say.
Unpacking the finance of this life is super valuable. Culturally, people are far too scared to talk about their personal finance journey. Financial education is sorely lacking. Please keep sharing this. The best information on finance could help people manage their way into the hobby.
Many youtubers don't have this sense of teching us than just showing what they think it sells! While you can keep this style and initiative (20+ MINS is the perfect pitch for videos and even the dogs frames are dope and cute af) the channel would be a boom! I perssonally love to learn everything from mecchanical stuff and so, but not many people (and not always) shows us more than that... So this video about possible financial risks is something a did not know I need, and now that you mentioned knowing more about this kind of stuff would be perfect as many other comments said, as is a bit of a fresh air.
Your vlog style is grippy - it holds my attention. You’re adding a lot of value with your experience that people want to hear. You have a perspective a lot of people don’t. Love the videos! Keep it coming. Definitely want to see a finance video on how you think when buying / selling.
Loved the video. Good pacing, not 10 minutes of some super blown out crappy trap beat, got to the points cleanly. I would personally love to hear more about the non-mechanical aspects of being a car enthusiast. Picking insurance, finding a quality shop for your specialized vehicles, how much cost is actually too much, the best and worst parts of being a car guy, etc. All could be great and I think you could offer some great perspective. Look forward to the next video! You got this!
Vin this video was dope! Fresh breathe of air, there’s so many people like me who loved the info you gave us, I’d watch anything you would drop, but the unplanned , not corny , automotive RUclipsr style is perfect and dope! I’d love to hear why you keep buying raptors too! Looking forward to that video. You are super relatable and human and just yourself but have so much knowledge and great car content it made me love it. Take your time with your channel it’s going to workout great ❤👏🏾 Also I’d love to hear you ramble about getting sponsorships and how brand deals work on the business side of automotive YT . More life more everything Vin well deserved, cheers 🥂 🎊
Great vid, 9/10 needs more Champ. 😉😁 But seriously this is great stuff, keep it up. To your point of the cost of insuring/crashing at the track...once upon a time I used to roadrace motorcycles, and I was told "never put anything on track you're not 100% ok with crashing." It's always way more fun if you're not worried about doing something to what's underneath you, so deciding to skip that track day was absolutely the right call.
I rate this man, its a good take, finding things to talk about that most other youtubers/car owners don't talk about. If you can find interesting things to discuss that I haven't heard 100 times I'll tune in 👌
Vin, I subbed to this channel because, like top gear or grand tour, it didn’t matter the channel name or the content i came here because one your lifes journey is very inspiring and gives me hope that being independent can still be achievable. Two the cars that can be thrashed will likely be thrashed and not unnecessarily destroyed for content. I wish you only the best and i hope you find the best balance of enjoyment to work ratio on your content creation.
Vin you're making all the right decisions by being prudent about what you do with your RS3. Its my bucket list car, but who knows. Great video because you're just being honest and you're being really focused on your audience. As a "new" content creator, I think you're killing it! I feel the same way as you about creating valuable content. Keep up the great work. I am following you and appreciate the inspiration on just making videos on what you love.
You mentioned a few times, and I would love to see your perspectives on buying/flipping cars. In general I feel like I have pretty realistic expectations, I know I’m not gonna roll in money within months, but I want as much of the real, nitty gritty shit to know about the process, the things to look out for, negotiation methods; whatever you can share. Separately, enjoying the vlogs, and would love to see more about the raptor obsession too 😂
The content we want is you. You make it different. Your view and opinion on cars like this is what we are here for. Why you buy, what you buy, what you sell, explain what’s in your brain and you will do good 👍🏼
...it's Vin Diaries! Appreciated the insight on high dollar car ownership. Also great to see some of the old crew. Keep it up! I always enjoy your content.
Vin, you always deliver useful info in a practical, not-boring-us-to-death manner. You really come across as one of those frieds that happened to come up in the car game. Down to earth. So, yeah, I liked this video.a lot.
I am interested in your Raptor and Tacoma story , i follow you on IG as well and it's crazy how many you have had over the years. Enjoying the channel , i think most people will keep watching for you and whatever your up to with your life. You guys are the ones that kept us coming back for more content , so it's great to be able to support you directly now.
Thanks for the video, Vin! Good content, I think this context gives us non-supercar-owners insight into the experience of dream vs. reality. Also, I'd love to watch a video about your "Raptor Buy/Sell Journey" or whatever you call it. Buy, style, drive, sell, buy, style, drive, sell, etc.
I’d love a video on buying an exotic or super car. What do you factor in when deciding a car? Where do you shop? Do you stay local? Are maintence/repair prices factored? East of working in the car… etc. loving the start of the solo work Vin, cheers
Longer format, no click bait, rad dudes and chicks, sweet cars, honest and open talk and most importantly…….dogs, these are the reasons I’m loving your channel already. I think being able to show the stuff that you find interesting that partners previously didn’t see value in is a great way to do something fresh, I see threads creep into each channel as they start to fallow the add/stat route which I completely get as it’s how you stay afloat, but I feel like there is defiantly some value in deviating from that and developing a fallowing around more wholesome content, not sure if that helps but just know we are here for you, not because of what car you have, or what you are getting next, we are here for you and enjoy seeing how you do. Much love from aus.
I like where your going with these vlogs. Nice - and I fully understand your view............I share it. Keep sharing - a full one combination of finance, value, prep, valet etc............. the full story.
Keep the vlog going. Your videos are really the only ones that kept Hoonigan RUclips going. This VS That was too played out. Doing fun stuff and builds, built the channel. You always had/have different vehicles to mod. I will watch every vlog. I look forward to more info on all the Raptors.
Great video, Vin! Seeing the old crew will always be a hit with me. You're two videos in and already on my short list of favorite car RUclipsrs. Be you! 11/10 on the video thumbnail too. 😂
FANTASTIC VID VIN! Your editing style is sick. Smooth transitions and not a lot of filler. Your commentary is always on point and I think as far as "flipper insights" you have enough of a proven track record to share your opinions with confidence. Can't wait to continue following along and learning more about how I can start my "car flip" journey. I think a SICK video idea would be you going back through how you got started and your first 10-20 flips?? Give the people an idea of how to get started from the ground floor? Cheers brotha!
Every video from an established RUclips character is valuable because you have been there and done that. Don't overthink what people want to see. We are here because we like what you do. Insider tips and tricks in the industry would be a cool video maybe. Good luck bro.
This is amazing content. You growth through hoonigan is inspiring. Realize you are the brand and through your experience you know what enthusiast will love…because it’s authentic.
Love your honesty coming from the viewpoint of an enthusiast who's worked hard to get to their dream ride. I got mine last year (although not to the same scale - '19 rs3) and reality and stress of ownership has tainted the pleasure somewhat. The financial worry and having to think twice where it gets parked is tiresome.
This is some good content man. Love how it's real ownership of cool cars and not just hypercars/supercars and what crazy trip/event/wrap we're doing next. Had a ND Miata and recently started working my way up to something with an OG M2. Subbed and keep it up!
I like this style of content aswell as out and about stuff, I'd like to hear about the raptors and other things! Honestly it's really cool to see you being your own person without the previous brand surrounding you. Keep it up man!
I appreciate the chill but smart content Vin. For some of us that live up in the northern USA or Canada where we have to lay up our cars over the winter, just seeing the socal car culture and what you guys are up to is cool as well. My advice would be, don't worry about what other bloggers are doing, even if you end up doing something in a video that's been done before, you will always be different because of your personality and brain power. Stay chill, stay positive, it's gonna be good!! 💪 Gary, up in Ontario, eh? 😆🇨🇦
As a previous owner of an R35 GTR, I feel ya on this. I've actually lowered my target pricing for my fun cars because of owning that GTR. Keep up the great work.
Oh also another topic about depreciation/devaluing - modifications?
I didn’t event consider mods! That is a great topic. I’ve actually done really well with modding cars but I think my car was cheaper cause of all its mods. Crap! How did I not consider that 😂a
Great down to earth video, and great content man 👍 and please do more collabs with DDE, I think they also need a part time marketing person to attract more sponsors 😉
Loving the vlog and brain vomit. It's fun to hear what drives you and what's on your mind. Keep em coming! Fun seeing how you afford such awesome vehicles

I agree. Not flashy and true car guy.

The rear view thing is real, regardless of price, if you just simply care about your car. PPL in traffic are the worst!
@@vin_tra I don't imagine it was helped by that lady who threw a drink at your NSX before promptly running up the back of someone else.
What can u do to prevent a guy from rear ending u while stopped at light or moving slow in traffic?
Keep rambling Vin! Great video
😂😂😂
probably means nothing to most watching this video but the fact that you’re sitting next to a mk4 while recording this makes my heart happy and shows the world goes full circle in life.
Zac rocking The Prodigy shirt!!! Hell yes. RIP Keith Flint.
Bro really has an exceptional taste. He's an american and his cars look better than almost everything I'm seeing here in germany 😂👌🏼
Thank god you doing this. It is better material than what hoonigan been posting for the last months.
Ever since Wheel Pros bought them out, the content hasn't been the same.
@@McNasty43it has been nothing but this vs that for like the last year which was cool at first but its trashed now
Does anyone have some insights on why hoonigan has gone to shit?
On the other hand I've recently rewatched a view daily transmissions from the donut garage and some of them had much more views than the videos from now
This video is refreshing, it's not about the same thing everyone else is doing. Straightforward, honest information, without all the bs.
You can hear the love for the ability to drive. A driver for a driver's car.
Dude. This is the type of car content I live for! Just chillin, shooting the shit, and looking at cool cars. That's all i want!Keep it up!
I live for the community. Without it I’d have nothing to do 😂
Personally I find that following someone on the inside of the car scene, watching them meet people, see their cars and share their opinions makes for the best content.
Glad to see you doing your own shit and happy to see it taking off, keep up the good work big dawg!!
Thanks man. Filmed this entire thing myself!
@@vin_tra That's one thing that really impresses me about Freddy (Tavarish). He does EVERYTHING himself, no film crew, no editors, just him.
Vin’s ramblings are exactly what you’d do with a buddy just shooting the shit, it makes for great engaging content, keep it coming.
Also really enjoy seeing the rationale behind your purchases/how you view cars since you've got a good track record
I feel like the Vin that I’m seeing in these videos is a different Vin than I saw on the Hoonigan channel and I love it
Hoonigan was more reckless which is fun but like pack mentality
video style, pacing, and editing are killer for vid number 3!! just remember lighting, a couple shots at the start have you super dark vs your background. Can't wait for more content!
Yeah the in car stuff is real bad. Will improve for sure
@@vin_tra oh I know you will, it’s all just getting the reps in. Hyped for more!
@@vin_tra also don't forget to hi-pass the audio for removing the droning sound from the in car shot.
Vin, you can brain dump ANYTHING and you will get 100k views and I for sure will be here. Thank you for picking up the camera and continuing on. This was truly enjoyable to watch!
I dont know if that’s true but I will try to make stuff that I find interesting or that you guys will enjoy!
LETS GO VIN!! Excited for your page my man!
Already these couple videos have been great to watch, I’ll definitely always be quick to watch any more to come when I see them.
love it bro just keep it real and authentic. Real gear heads will relate and many more will appreciate it and learn
I’m glad Vin is making videos!!
Let’s go vinnie. Glad you’re still putting content out there bud. Always be a fan keep rocking dude 🤘🤘
Dude is so real, very refreshing in youtube
Hit the nail on the head on multiple fronts. The struggle is real with having the car and having to think about the "what ifs" before every drive or having to think about if there is safe parking near your destination. Makes jumping in a Raptor or overland Cayenne Diesel the decision 9 time out of 10.
I feel this video so hard. I have a small collection, and I drive all of them, some more than others. Yet every time I think of selling one…I…just…can’t…. Great video!
Woke up early to watch this first thing! Turned out great, really informative without being just a sit-and-talk video. The pacing kept my attention. Also dogs.
Dogs!!! ❤
Doggos! 😂
Happy to watch you drop any type of knowledge
I think you've done things a lot of people aspire to do, whether that's flipping cars up to your dream car, your job at Hoonigan or simply just owning tastefully modded cars. I think casual / honest conversations about any of this is great content
I think a few of us would love to see a vlog about stuff that isn't about cars, like a house tour or Champ!
I’ll sprinkle that in
I like Vinney Aneistrat.
Wow this is a super nice comment. Thanks for that. Always cool to know people stumble upon my stuff without knowing or following Hoonigan!
A little bit of both is GREAT. Knowing the the details of owning a car is great.
This is genuinely super awesome to know! Means we can buy dream cars with a touch less fear.
Editting 11/10, cinematography, music. Love it all.
Authenticity of this channel is awesome
Like some said, a breath of fresh air, really enjoy discussion videos that aren't artificially dragged longer than needed
THIS format is exactly what I would want. Keep doing it, even if it’s just a side gig. It’s dope
this is a fresh car youtube content! love the authenticity 🤙🏽
Why you buy, what you buy, what you sell, explain what’s in your brain and you will do good 👍🏼
Do this more often. I like the vlog ideas you have, about the buy, sell, upgrade of cars etcetera. I love the edit by the way.
So glad you’ve gone your own way, you just know your content is going to be 10/10. Love it
...it's Vin Diaries!
First car vlog channel ive enjoyed. As if im just listening to friends chit chay about car woes just on another level.
Seeing the old gang is everything! Keep it up!
This format of video is great, just personal, no script, just natural, old achool youtube vlog
