I started stretching exercise when I was 19 yrs old. Now, at 63 I still do it regularly with the same flexibility as in my teens. Really, it’s practice that makes it perfect.
I tried to do this by putting this on the slowest motion and learning the movements !! This is nuts and it’s amazing flexibility /body control. Reminds me of capoeira 💚

All these movement are found in Martial Arts, from Chinese Kung Fu, to Capoeira to Bjj, yet I think it's an excellent idea to teach those to people that wouldnt necessaly be interested in martial arts, the benefits are insane

Animal flow is always beautiful, when I see it. Did a little bit myself when I firsts started, it's easy to underestimate how much body muscle control, coordination and flexibility is involved. Great work!

Thank you Micheal! I just start doing animal flow for the first time and analyzing all the movements to get them correct. I will be 60 November the 6th. By then I hope to successfully complete the basic movements fairly well , if not close to perfect. I know this takes a lot of time to master them all and will love the challenge to learn them. I'm a fall risk and have an CNA that helps me, which takes some of the load off of my wife. Doctors cant figure it out and it's been 3 years an no real diagnosis. I'm still not giving up. The thing with "primal" humans (ancient humans who weren't much different than us at all) is that they probably never moved like this. They could run, jump, and climb better but the loose movements that we call primal are a very new thing

You don't need a book and or a process to move ur body. Its innate. When u get in touch with ur primal nature, the gut, of course it only comes.. natural. The point is nature. To overthink it is to fail already.
20 years and 60 pounds ago, I was a mediocre but division 1 high hurdler. I spent a LOT of time working on my flexibility. Years later, I found a lot of the stretches I invented for myself were established yoga poses. I "discovered" them just by exploring my mind's connection to my body. I suspect anyone who wants to get into primal flow exercises would do well to start with something like this and then just "feel" for the movements their bodies need.

Was showing my brother a crescent kick when we were younger. Nearly cut a full slice off my big toe kicking the ducted heating intake vent instead. An empty beach is par for the course for these movements based on my experience 😅

Very impressive stretching routine. I think physically healthy individuals would benefit from this long-term. There's quite a barrier to entry in this routine, but the health and strength benefits are off the charts.
