As someone who owns a troy 102... stag 10 all the way
Bammer I have stag 10, brand new barrel was replaced, and bolt carrier and gas system worked on. Took months to deal with, with calls and email ignored. So if you Troy 102 works, then I got a feeling it better.
@@sssttt90 was this with arms east? I bought my model 8 from them years ago and recently tried to get a stag 10 but they stopped returning my calls and emails. so i bought a 110 evolution instead.

At 12 pounds that's probably one of the heaviest on my list of possible hunting rifles, and now that I have a shoulder injury I'm not sure. Will definitely stop in and check it out though. Another great video guys.

Take a look at the Kel-Tec RFB bullpup, if your interested in non restricted 308 black rifles. Its sits at a fairly high price range but would be a fun one to dive into. Other than the suggestion keep up the good work!

As with the BCL 102 (which i own) the ideal grain weight is about 168 grain boat tail works well in it,and of course match grade ammo i run 168 to175 grain and it works well.
Nice looking rifle! Personally, I prefer my burnt bronze BCL 102 though.

So the barrel nut was changed to steel was this because the aluminum nut might catastrophically fail at some point in it's life .
Bought a STAG 10 .... would like to see your input on it.

Stag 10 is superior quality and is worth the extra money, and comes with a lifetime warranty like this rifle.
I've got a second Gen bcl102... Only issues I've had was the cheap steel cased ammo... Shoots good otherwise, I hunt with it and ring my steel target at 400yds all day.. Only regret, I wish I would have waited for it to drop on price. 1800 is alot for a rifle like this considering they are now 1500.

No complaints with my bcl.... Goes bang Everytime I pull the trigger... So not sure why it's garbage?
$1400 Canadian...just bought mine...pretty good groupings at 200yds ,soon to be going out to 400yds...
What do you think about the Troy .308 10.5" "other"?
how can you possibly say its biggest pro is accuracy when with match grade ammo and an expensive optic it put up over a 2 inch group @ 50 yds??
yea they claim sub moa accuracy but that seems like bullshit after they shot 168FGMM through it in a lead sled and got those kind of groupings.
It was more of a practical accuracy test then precision. Further those weren’t tuned loads and they only fired three groups. For a quick video it’s probably a fairly accurate assessment but sub MOA may be pushing it. Probably closer to 1.5-2.0 MOA which should be plenty for people in the market for semi auto “precision”.
Everyone in the comments claims to be a sniper. Even at 50 yards that group with the match ammunition was pretty good. But of course everyone on here needs to claim they can always make one hole at 50 yards.

My Troy AR15 didn't have foam in the box I feel left out.

It looks like a sniper rifle. The fact that it is non-restricted makes it even better.

Stag 10 is on a whole different playing field. If you can afford the Stag it’s a no brainer.

I dont know about non restricted but they are definitely coming out with the 5.56 variant
its been brought up many times and everyone who knows something has said it will never happen. more likely to be a 22-250 version
i highly doubt they'd release a 22-250 after saying they would release 556 and 223 at a later date
@@BigBammer it will be an ar15 though and restricted. I was talking about what calibers theyve mentionedfor the 102 NR platform, the 22-250 only requires a different barrel

could you do a ATRS Modern Sporter review plz?
Don't hold your breath. ATRS sells directly: the Edge doesn't sell them so they won't advertise it. They're not being dicks, or even negligent: it's just business. Same way you won't see a Norinco product on the ATRS website: it's just not what they do.
I don't have any ATRS products, but I've had them do work on my guns and I've always been more than happy with their work. I can fully recommend them. Always got a friendly feeling from ATRS that they got in the business for the love. My feeling from The Edge was that it's a business that they love: not that they're a bad store, they're always professional, just not the same feeling is all.
One thing I'd mention: the "Modern Sporter" you mentioned is a 556, I think you might be meaning the "Modern Hunter" which is the 308, more comparable to the one in this video.
6 months it's like waiting for the last season of game of thrones.
You can fill the stock with a big ol bag of gummy bears.
Get them with lighter barrels and handguards they'd be easier to carry.

That's not entirely true. We were experiencing issues with our shipment of Troy 102s so we had to pull them all out and test fire the entire lot.
We ended up seling them for about our cost as they would have slight scratches from being test fired.
When we were confident with an individual firearm to perform, we boxed it up and sold them. But it was a ton of work and a ton of ammo.
You can make up your own mind, but we will not be importing any more Troy rifles.

Very nice rifle , Trudum will most likely ban it as it falls in the semi auto Black gun category and it looks scary . Hopefully they don’t take all semi auto rifles cause I want to get one soon but waiting to see what happens after elections .
