- Join Jack and Danny on a day of fixing waters and protecting assets by removing feral camels from the property, and the living realm.
Jack Uses the Wedgetail MPR Mod2 308 which proves its effectiveness on larger groups of camels.
As we aren't permitted semi automatic rifles in Western Australia it makes Jack work a bit, but it's proving to be quite reliable. - Развлечения
Can you guys get a scope camera?!?! Please. The footage would be INSANE!!
I think he should get a gofund me started so he can buy one. and some magazine pouches
@@kendallanthony6230he’s got a chest rig just doesn’t use it every time.
Agreed maybe a triggercam
Your subs will explode with a scope cam
even just a camera on the rifle would be great.
Is awsome to see a team work like a well oiled machine. Danny's ability to pick the correct paths to follow in the scrub is amazing.
Good sight lines and no staked tyres! Not an easy thing to do.
danny’s tracking skills are unmatched! what a kickass duo you lot are
? Tracking ? I think your version of what tracking is , is a bit on the romantic side.Danny was chasing down a mob of camels in a land cruiser for gods sake, not sniffing around looking for blood trails and broken twigs! LOL
@@gamerjay6624 bro he didn't say that
Gronk @@gamerjay6624
Danny does a good job of avoiding tyre punctures as well. Still waiting for Danny doing that Roo.
Amazing how efficient this culling was! The new rifle, your marksmanship, Danny's driving skills, the communication and teamwork all outstanding! Thanks for taking us along!
The pumping gets in the way. They make rifles you don’t have to pump and you can stay on target between shots.
That" stoppage" call out was pure gold. I remember doing that years after I got out with some of my civ pals at the farm hunting yotes. I felt foolish as hell. They all thought it was hilarious. Nice to hear someone else drop it in the moment. Keep up the great stuff dude.
Good drills never die mate
Great work you fellas are doing, these camels do untold damage. We know it's not the animals fault but as custodians of the land we are obligated to make sure the native animals have precedence here. Danny is a top driver, going around those dead roots etc and not flogging the guts out of the ute and getting you onto them consistently
One thing I appreciate, is the fact that you bothered to finish your targets fairly quickly. I've seen a lot of hunters in videos, and unfortunately in person, who will leave things squirming for far too long, or simply not finish them at all.
Does having video coverage of the infrastructure around your property an advantage. Of course. Your installation of this technology in such a harsh environment is a credit to you and will undoubtedly lead more stations adopting this technology.
You guys work hard at what you do. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and knowledge and keep your videos coming please.
This rifle definitely cycles better than the last one.
Not saying much lol.. Iv got better faster single shots in the US than the last gun he had. Shame they are forced to use those.
You have to really want to get the bullet out of a gun in WA now when I was a kid it wasn't so bad lots of people had real guns 😂😂😂
People forget how far away the tyers shop is and that your the tyre guy😂😂😂😂
Yes they do!
Danny drives like he's a race car driver! I hate that YT banned you from showing what you're doing to save your cattle. Good luck to you and Danny. Be safe!
Not used to seeing your summer during our winter. Really appreciate your channel! Wishing you all the very, very best this Christmas Season and success, happiness and health in all the seasons to come!
where they are winter wouldn't look much different. 😆
Good teaching of Danny doing the pump , taught many of apprentices and love telling them if it’s a 1 person job it’s you , hands on better than watching 👍👍👍
A sling would serve you well especially on the back of your truck. Love the content, from USA.
100% plus a well set up chest rig
@@tobychurches7803he’s got a chest rig just doesn’t use it every time
@Jack Out The Back much respect on how you make sure all the camels are dead and man that pump gun put in work what a great addition in tools
Brilliant stuff. Loved it.
Wow, what terrific footage!!! We get to see a rifle fire and the shell ejected. I don't think I have been more excited in years!
Most effective yet. I think you guys just found your groove.
And they say that farmers and ranchers are stupid. This man has to know how to do radio operations, telecommunications, mechanical repairs, and doing the ranching/farming all on top of that
some tidy driving from Danny.
Cheers
Jim
Thanks for the videos. I think it helps people here see what a problem the wild pigs are and what they tear up
He is culling camels, not pigs.
@@namehere4506 he said the problems here, I think meaning where he lives there's invasive pigs
Man that new Camel tool is putting in work. Congratulations on the new tool! watching the old bolt one jamming over and over was sad to see... The new hotness seems to be working good 👍.
The puff of dust when you smoke em gets me every time
Great teamwork.
you gotta get danny a mic so we can hear him! love the teamwork
Put a mic on him and he stops talking 🤪
Really enjoy your videos and work!
Good job done for the day👍
Danny is a top bloke.
Without a scope camera it's hard to see anything. I'm amazed at how many hats you have to wear: mechanic, techno expert, plumber, pilot, sniper.. you are truly an outback man.
Gotta thank old John Howard for making your job harder. A bill of rights like the American one would have prevented it.
Mate John Howard got tge Gun Laws off the ALP They were going to introduced them when next they won power IT took Port Arthur for tge Laws to be pushed threw earlier than intisapated by the LNP as public opinion was high after the Shootings True fact
Best video yet
Hey Jack …. First time viewer … love your work 👍🏼. In WA myself 👍🏼
What a sweet video. love it.
Great video!👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸
Love your camel cull videos. I see you looking at the mag when there's a failure. Have a separate mag dump bag for them for further testing. It could be the manufacturer or a follower or spring failure. If you need mag followers or springs you got some brothers over here that could help.
Just get a paint pen and number them
Nice drops, well done.
I see you kept accidentally deploying those irons which I used to have (and had the same issue), but recently replaced them with the TROY battle sights. You have to press both detents on each side to flip them up so it’s near impossible to accidentally deploy them. Love your content from Texas!! I help nearby land owners eradicate wild hogs here which destroy billions of dollars of crops annually.
Best video yet. Keep em coming Vegas Baby😂
Excellent work. Good driving skill Danny, good shooting Jack. Plenty camels.
Good work 👍👍
To damn bad their are some people that think they have the right to censor your activity. If they do not like it don’t watch.
Turn the channel it is that easy. This life get use to it.
Hi Jack Happy New Year to all U Guys out There on the Station Cheers
Good job guys
Glad you're using a much better rifle now.
I appreciate you not letting the animals suffer and trying to be as humain as possible
Please get a scope camera Danny your marksmanship is incredible and being able to see your placement and the target a lot better would for sure increase the quality of the vids man, keep up the great work man
Hi Jack, one please. Set the camera a little higher; when you shoot, you can usually only see the top edge of the camera, but not the object that is being shot at.
You can dramatically reduce that 308 recoil and muzzle rise for faster follow up shots by replacing the birdcage muzzle break with a top shelf break. A couple of the best performing breaks on the market are (1) Ultradyne - Apollo Max or (2) SJC - Titan Extreme. This will be another level up in speed for you guys given the type of rapid shooting you're doing.
All good points but I don’t think that matters much on a pump action seeing how the motion of pumping will likely cause more muzzle flip than the shot itself
very good work thanks
thank you dany
Atta boy. Well done 🏆🏆
You need to shout yourself a canopy and give yourself some shade. Conditioning is one thing but shade can help so much.
Great teamwork.
🤟☮️🇦🇺😎👍
Great video as always jack, good shot on the dog, technology is there so why use it, in the long run it most probably, saves thousands in fuel ,driving out and checking all the time, best wishes for the new year
I personally disagree with the dingo kill, but I understand hes probably doing it to protect any cow calves. Its also killing the only native predator that will kill a camel calf.
I really enjoyed this video.,
nice work mate and glad to see an aussie gun working for and yes with the bolt forward its hard to seat a full magazine
A belt setup for your mags with a dump pouch for empties would be nice here. I've never put .308 PMAGs on a battle belt though so idk how bulky that would be.
Wow crazy boys I'm bloody exhausted watching from my computer room at home that's some touch hot dusty work and the effort it would take standing in the back while driving over the old tree stumps and shit Phew! Danny the drivers a legend also 👍👍
rifle looks great, hope it serves you well
Coolest pump action gun ever seen
Hi Jack, the cameras/communication system is a great way to monitor water, animal health and movement but also rustling. This still occurs where i live....maybe you're too far away for these individuals to make it worthwhile.
Great videos...Cheers from East Coast.
Ooh I feel for Danny 😬. Even with the EarPro I know exactly how his head would have been rattling with that .308 cracking off 😂😂
What a grade A team
I like Danny's ''custom ''rifle rest.
Remind me not to get into a car chase with Danny and you on my back
I gotta say even if he doesn’t talk much
You have a TOP. hand in Danny
Good on ya mate Yah apply yourself to ya job magnificently 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Jack and Danny......Great Photography and Shooting....Happy New Year Mate.
Adrenaline pumping taking those shots. I did sheep eradication and it was the same way.
my brother in christ we need Prenti Downs merch asap
Just came here to read comments… I know there’s some PETA warriors in here somewhere…. 😆😆
People not doing research. I didn't know that camels are pretty much pests in Australia
If only people watching this would realise how rough the country is it’s no picnic driving through that scrub
Wedge tail on task and on speed 👍🏼
Danny needs to have a mic too. Great videos, awesome work!
watched all through and I will say this you are a resourceful man - Car driver, Bike rider, Plumber, Electrician, I.T. support. Boss, Husband, Father Marksman, are you a Pilot?, Cattle Rancher. I'll bet your rubbish at domestic chores though.
Gotta have a black fulla driving, living the life
Ya are a blooody good shot Jack crack shot rarely do I see ya miss or hear ya call/say ya missed him !!!😊😊😊
That is a sweet rifle
6:52 when you have trouble with your mags locking in its sometimes because its got one too many rounds in it. Best way is to open your bolt then put it in the mag and it'll lock right up
Looking forward to the night footage.
You shoot like a video game man👌
"He's Good"...meaning he's anything but good! 😆
Good stuff and great driving from Danny. What tyres are you running? I use 16 ply MRFs on split rims for this type of driving.
Yeah we run the 16x MRF or even the BKT version.
When does your video game come out? Lol.
Love your videos, wish I could come down and help ya out !!
Been out the sunroof of my pajero for years!! Easy!!💥💥👍👍💪
Just found your channel, and subscribed. Well produced, fast moving video. Jack, do you have any merch with the Prenti Downs Station logo on it by any chance? Such a good logo! It'd look good on a T-shirt, or similar. Anyhow cheers, and keep up the good work.
Hey Jack what does Danny use when he goes out- what kind of rifle?
Great job your doing jack , u need a 22 magnum rimfire rifle for the short range dispatching , keep up the wonderfull videos
Only issue is that's another long rifle to have it the car! A pistol would be much nicer!
@@jack_out_the_back Would a Mare's Leg be an option for you?
@@adampeters9861 haha not with the boys and girls in blue that make up our state police forces.
Well i,m glad i watched this outback thats 2 new today i subscribed
its dry its hard yakka someone has to do it . that solar wifi cam too Hot mite need a small thermo insulated shed .
+1 for the scope cam. Try ATNs x-sight 5 fully digital one
I’ve got the first one released to the public in AUS. Too much technology for the desert, stay with the red dot
This was a really good video! Im watching on TV via Roku's RUclips app, in the "Australian outback camels" playlist.. not sure what's up with RUclips or whatever they're trying to pull, but I had to manually hunt for this vid on the mobile app (easiest way to comment a video), almost like its a hidden video. Apparently I'm the only viewer??
Yeah, we have it on private at the moment! You did well. We are having trouble uploading it to Rumble! So we are awaiting to see if it's going to get us another strike before releasing it publicly!
Does adding a disclaimer help@@jack_out_the_back
It’s a shame RUclips can see this as unsuitable for the population. It’s part of outback life, legal and you are trying to show the world what life in outback oz is really like. Keep up the good work
Hallo Jack, what ammo are you using. How many rounds do you average in a month. Do you guys reload or just purchase?
No mistaking those thud impacts.
Very good to see that you finish the woonded animals off and take note of calves... and that you use beter and more accurate gear...
if you can get the window pmags its alot easier to keep track of the remaining rounds in the mag
That two way on your roof, is it a ham radio (looks like a Yaesu) or just a common cb radio?
Definitely need a chair on the back and a swivel for the gun
Give you some tips run your mags tell they are dry and then load you next mag it will help build muscle memory and you will get better faster because the gun is dry and a scope cam would be awesome as well
I noticed you had a bit of difficulty inserting the mag into the rifle at 6:50. You may already know these tricks this but to keep this issue from happening again you can either insert the mag into the rifle with the bolt open or you can load the magazine to one or two less rounds than full.
Putting a frame with padded shelf and bar to rest on would be a great addition to Landcruiser for shooting off the back.
Hi Jack I’m a big fan and very impressed with your shooting abilities
What type and calibre rifle do you use for camel control, seems to work very well
Do you use a dot site and at what distance is it effective to
Great channel mate 👍👍👍
I use a 308. And its a 3.5x vortex prism optic. I've now swapped it out as it was limiting me a fair bit. Generally we don't like taking the 308's out past 300m
