Onder die titel maakt Oscar Kraal een serie video’s en interviews voor Slagwerkkrant.
Interview by Oscar Kraal (drummer with Milow, Candy Dulfer, Amnouk) at Terpstra Drumland, September 21, 2017.
Kijken dus!

I was blown away by this drummer in 1982 when I saw the diary of a madman tour in Kansas City! This drummer played with such passion and love for the music! He stood out like Randy Rhodes and complimented the music. What a great dude. 37 years later Tommy still kicks ass! He hasn't slowed down a bit. What an entertaining drummer. Many hours and years dedicated to his craft.
That man does not know how influential he is.. Humble. Amazing.
Tommy is such an awesome person and a awesome drummer Thanks for this video!
the greater people are the humbler they are. what an amazing person
My god...... that was the best Tommy Aldridge interview I've heard....awesome down to earth honest guy
Greatest Guitarist he has Worked with....RANDY RHOADS!......Awesome!
Tommy is so humble... So proud to be a leo like him. We have such big heart's, except to water signs.. Were cold to them lol.
What a lovely lovely man Tommy is. I’m learning so much recently from studying his playing and it’s a real bonus listening to interviews with him. He shows no ego and he’s really open and honest. Great interview.
You can tell he’s good people. Seen him a few times live and always enjoyed it but had no idea he was such a decent guy in general
I appreciate his honesty and so spot on
seems like a very nice guy, down to earth
Great interview ,
I have seen many interviews with Tommy & this one in by far the best ...you rock Tommy...
Huge respect.
What a really nice, genuine man. Looking forward to seeing him on the 27th Feb in Auckland.
best interview from tommy
I was fortunate enoegh to see him perform in Dallas also in 82 Blew my mind!!!
Respect love Tommy's work
Thank you Tommy, for a candid interview
Tommy you are a true gentleman and a great musician. Thank you
Great interview! Tommy's a legend! Funny, I also kept drum catalogs as a kid and looked at them so much that I even memorised item numbers. :)
Me too! 😁
One of the greatest of all time.
What a humble guy and awesome rock drummer!!
Hard to believe he was able to hang in there with Ozzy and Sharon for four years. A great interview and his comments about Randy are just beautiful. To this day it’s beyond incredible they were able to continue that tour.
Tommy is such a cool dude! He's on my top five drummers. He made Pat Travers Band sound Bigger than life! Very humble guy.
Hey Tommy you are the coolest Drummer so I'm 65 been playing my hole life never took lessons wish I had your story is similar to mine but my father wanted me to play and I got my first kit at 9 before that I just played on our garbage cans with sticks from the trees and just played by ear and went to concerts and just watched the drummer the hole Time and would go home and play what I saw them play that's it I still have a kit and I jam to the radio but it's not like live music so well you Take Care Thank you ☮️👍🙏
Wow! Never had seen the human part of the man. Loved it.
Tommy the greatest drummer
What an awesome guy. I'd rather spend ten minutes with this guy than two hours with some self absorbed egotistical musician who couldn't even come close to the class that is Tommy Aldridge.
What a lovely guy. Im going to see whitesnake in London in 2020, cannot wait to see him live.
Good stuff
I love you man.
What a nice man.
Tommy is from the Jackson, Mississippi area. He graduated high school with my first cousin. Scott Buckley
What a nice man
I've always liked his use of words, "rabbit-trailed" away from the question. Lol
why did he leave Pat Travers?
T.A. is the Best.
Кайф, хорошее интервью!
A pros Pro !! 😘
I don't agree that you 'used' those guys. I was in a similar situation in another business and the way I see it, they gained from the work I did as much as I did. I don't think that's the same as using someone because they got your services for five and a half years as well.
😎👍🇺🇸🥁💣 TOMMY!
Met TA on the Bark at the Moon tour 1984. I was a punk high school kid. He was super cool and gladly signed an autograph. Met Bob Daisley and Don Airey too. Jake E Lee was a prick.
I feel like I should join a band, all I do is play the drums, and I feel like I should just go for it.
The younger you are the more critical it is to, Go For It!
If you are under 20 your brain is a sponge and ready to be trained to rule your body to become an instrument.
56 here, over 1,000 shows but always regret not making it top priority when I was young.
Listen to your heart!
@@ashevilledurden4461 I will man, I just hit 20
You will not find a better guy and a killer idol of what to do and not do.

You're gonna hurt me so I can't play with anyone else? Well it looks like you JUST signed your death warrant... Anyone ever said that shit to me they would be in a medivac within minutes. Critical condition.
I'll just have to say...love tommy but he doesnt play any rudiments. single stroke all the way. seems to work.
Strange that I've known of Tommy since the 80s but I've never heard him talk.... Even stranger is I always thought he was English for some reason
Good ol' Southern boy. I was shocked when I met him back in 1984. Twang. Funny thing is he and Randy Rhoads both picked up Ozzy's speech inflection after touring with him. You can hear it in Randy's interviews. His friends gave him hell about it - ribbing him. Tommy still has it from his time with Ozzy and living in England for a while before then.
Some inaccuracies on the BOA story. Great and insightful though!!
Such as?
If tommy doesnt quit playing whitesnake at all his classes. Im gonna puke
The music nowadays is utter shit!!!
