OMG we started this show at lunchtime TODAY & we were on season 2 episode 3 in no time. Can I just say: BLOWN AWAY by this show. Stage 3 colon cancer survivor at 34; so it hits VERY close to home for us. I even caught my husband crying several times too as he felt a lot of these emotions while I was sick & he was alone w/ our 2boys; the youngest was 4 back then & autistic... (he was so frightened I was just fading away in front of his eyes & he was going to be alone 4ever) I was loosing my mind in my own way, emotionally & chemically w/ the treatments, but I did make it and I'm grateful for every damn day I get on this planet as I'm well aware many do not get as lucky. Everyone is struggling these days; please be kind.. be sincere 👌💯🥰

Watch 'Curb Your Enthusiam' Larry David, Ricky worships him, you can see where Gervaise got all his type of comedy from! It really is Hysterical! Ricky is in one episode in series one from 10 years ago, and they are both incredible funny! I'll guarantee you will be 'hooked' on it! I can't wait for season three. Maybe lockdown will have been a good thing for the show because it allowed Ricky to spend more time writing for it.
And I know it's a cliche, and corny to say this, but the show really is an emotional rollercoaster for me.

Wholesome is one word that best describes it. I know other adjectives, promise, but...I don't think any other word would encompass the effect it has on the viewer. The lady on the bench has had such an impact on me that I randonly remember the character and then focus in being kinder to people that day. It's not much, cause I forget about her the next day, but...this season will have had a lingering positivr effect, I'm sure. I really like the person I was while I was watching it. You know what I mean? Of course you do.

Quintessential British ending, leaving us all to think, reflect and take away our own personal feelings completely intact, rather than the typically pathetic, lightweight and soulless American ending rammed down our throats. The last series is perfectly capped by Joni Mitchell's best rendition (imho) of "Both Sides Now", I think she recorded around 2000 ? Well done Ricky and your talented colleagues for so much, and on so many levels too.........
