    You didn't have to disassemble the machine the way you did, there are oem lid locks that you detach from the harness and plug them into the old harness, it's a one minute process instead of a 10 minute suffered process.

      @ApartmentMaintenance  Год назад

      I've seen the lid switch you're talking about but the wire harness on this lid switch doesn't plug in like that otherwise I would have just unplugged it & had it replaced in a minute. When I received the part I was checking it out & was surprised it just didn't plug in like you are describing. Thanks for watching Lispellkal3123 & Subscribe to the channel 🛠️👍

    How do you manually rise? This one is so cheap on the controller vs my old one. The home warranty replaced it with this one.
    This one is model GTW220ACKWW our old one was GTWN4250D0WS

      If there's not a rinse setting on the timer, there isn't a way to do a manual rinse. Thanks for watching MickBrown815 & help support the channel by subscribing 🛠️👍

    I have the same one and its not draining or spinning. How do i know if that is the problem

    • @ApartmentMaintenance
      @ApartmentMaintenance  3 месяца назад

      @@NewportJoe Try lifting the lid to see if the lid lock is working properly (you shouldn't be able to lift the lid after hearing it lock). If you can still lift the lid then I'd say you have a bad lid lock as well. Thanks for watching & help support the channel by subscribing 🛠️👍

    Good stuff. We’ve been fighting the same model with a no spin condition. Didn’t have any trouble codes and just wouldn’t spin. We had it in the shop as a spare so we went down the list checking and replacing anything we thought could be causing it. Lid switch, speed sensor, shifter, swapped board with another washer and still same issue. Blew out the line for the pressure sensor and found a service bulletin online for putting a 1/16” drill bit in the port on the drum(not at the board) and spinning it by hand. Even that didn’t work at first. Today one of our guys went underneath and tapped on that little chamber with a hammer and must’ve broke something loose because miraculously it is now working… we were baffled for the longest time. Had one do this a while back and had GE service tech who I have used for warranty issues in the past come out and look at it and he couldn’t figure it out. Crazy! Hopefully this helps someone!

      @ApartmentMaintenance  3 месяца назад

      @@richardcowan996 Its hard to say with just that information. Are you saying the washer filled up with water & then won't do anything? @@ApartmentMaintenance it's filling up washing normally but when it goes into spin mode it doesn't lock the lid or spin just running the pump and it keeps going into flood mode if left plugged in
