Absolutely stellar. Been following the project for a few years now and its amazing to see you guys get something out to consumers, even if that wasn't the original goal. Keep it up!
Big mouth is one of The Smiths finest ever tunes and my personal favourite. Mike Joyce's drums are particularly amazing pared along with Marr's twangly guitar riff. A joy to listen to always. And the bike's pretty good also.
I work at killington and saw a frameworks dh frame the other day. Beautiful work, as an NC native in Vermont these frames make me proud. The design and concept brewed up in NC and the masterful welding in VT, can’t wait for my next frame to be USA made crafted by frameworks.
Ellsworth is back! Kind of, ha. Just kidding don't get upset. I rode a 26'er Moment for over ten years. 160×160 it was long and slack way before everyone else. Thanks for bringing back ICT🎉🎉🎉
Super cool bikes. I've been following the project and Frameworks race teams for some time and will probably consider one of these suckers for my next ride. But in the meantime I have one request... Can someone put together a Spotify playlist of all the songs you guys use? They're always banger.
I've done multiple custom bikes built up by WWC and I could not recommend them more!! Top of the industry skills, I would not pick another shop tbh. They're the best!
F.T.W. built the first Turners in Chandler Az. ‘94 I believe. (I was assembly mgr.) FTW also made Norco, Rocky Mountain, Mongoose, Dean, Baracuda, and of course the first Easton Yeti. Frank certainly doesn’t get credit for being such a legend and great dude.
It worked, now I want to have this bike though I don't need one. this construction technique looks so simple, I wonder why no one else builds bikes like that. 3 machined parts and the tubes welded together, elegant and simple.
Just by watching how the bike rides, it does not wiggle around like most enduro bikes, it is more like DH bike when pushed. That is a bike I want to ride.
As @MonsterChuck said, its to not get in the way of the downtube. By rotating it we are able to have a tighter bend from the BB into the downtube which is stronger as well as gives more front wheel to downtube clearance on the smaller sizes.
@@kingflynxi9420 we use a 30mm top shock hardware so that you can run the eyelet bearing from either Fox or Rockshox but we typically just run the bushings.
How does the suspension work with that shock to frame eyelet turned 90 deg? Wouldnt that stop the shock from pivoting?? *Edit: nvm it's connected to a little mini clevis link that can rotate
The piggyback is on the bottom so that there is less moving weight which can increase sensitivity on small bumps. And its rotated to the side for more clearance between the front wheel and the downtube on the smaller sized frames.
the mtb bike industry for enduro and DH is so disappointing. its such a shame that a proper bike like this can only be made in limited numbers by a small company pushing the price up just to survive. if such a small grassroots project can achieve a mostly superior product then the only thing we can conclude is that major companies are playing with us and manipulating the market through fads in order to sell products that are new now but will shortly be updated and obsolete. the sport has been around for decades and we have dozens of athletes to help us develop yet its never been so hard to afford or make an educated guess about which bike is best. shit industry full of shit products that are too expensive. i wish i had the money to afford a frame works but i also wish the industry wasn't in such a shit position where my only choice is an exclusive small company.
I don’t think you are quite right on this. Most top brands involve their pros heavily in bike development and plenty of them have ex pros as their head bike developers. Neko is pretty clear that his bikes are built for racing and how he feels a race bike should be based on his experience as a professional. Other brands dont have just racing in mind and so their bikes will be a little different, and may have, to your point, some non-essential features such as headset cable routing, internal storage etc. These other features do not make the bike worse than Nekos, it just has some different goals in mind. There isn’t one leverage rate that is agreed upon to be the best, as there isn’t agreed upon “perfect” axle path, anti rise, or anti squat values, just general trends that some companies put more or less value on.
Overpriced basic bike (geo and kinematics have nothing special, just good overall, like most bikes on the market)... Except if you are one of those attention seekers desperate to stand out why would anyone pay so much for this frame? And it doesn't even have lifetime warranty. For the price of that frame kit, with the current discounts, one can buy a full carbon bike.
@@Loganmulally And let's admit, a non eMTB has way too low complexity and the current design is way too mature to come up with something revolutionary which would justify a premium price. Not saying is not possible...but 99.9% of the time is just recycling old ideas, tunning parameters, different take on the same old compromises, changes for the sake of design...etc. And a lot of marketing 😅 Bikes are not cars, which have huge complexity and so much room for revolutionary ideas.

Great music selection always!

When are we getting the Frameworks Spotify playlist!?
Sick bike and thanks for reminding me to put the Smiths on for my next ride. :)
I'm here for The Smiths
Ok, thanks for the info.
External cable routing 👍
BOOM! Makes me happy to see such a humble guy deliver this kind of quality. In both riding, creating and teaching. :D
Sick intro once again. Love the bike.
Looks so good! Great work. Cant wait to get mine.
Pre-ordered one!!❤ would be nice to vlog the frames being built!

Neko absolutely shredding in DuPont State Forest FTW!
Looks stellar! Wish I had an extra 4K. My kids aren’t putting themselves through college.
Love to see this! Bike looks mega, absolutely believe it will deliver everything you said.
Beautiful bike and I’m sure it rides even better! Wish I could afford one! It’s higher than Willie Nelson!
I've done multiple custom bikes built up by WWC and I could not recommend them more!! Top of the industry skills, I would not pick another shop tbh. They're the best!
Basically the last enduro bike you will ever need to buy. Can't wait to rip Killington on the new frame at the US OPEN! 🔥🔥🔥
It’s like the sweetest Turner ever made
F.T.W. built the first Turners in Chandler Az. ‘94 I believe. (I was assembly mgr.) FTW also made
Norco, Rocky Mountain, Mongoose, Dean, Baracuda, and of course the first Easton Yeti. Frank certainly doesn’t get credit for being such a legend and great dude.
Wow I’m dreaming that they make a trail bike someday. I just don’t need so much bike but it looks so nice.
amazing song choice
Such a cool bike! 👌👌👌

Congrats man!
well y'all keep winning races, 'bout time you offer the bike to us plebeians
Sweet old Ford F series
Love my vivid ultimate
This is hilarious! I thought this was a cover song but actually I know it from slapshot covering it
Just by watching how the bike rides, it does not wiggle around like most enduro bikes, it is more like DH bike when pushed. That is a bike I want to ride.
Tune! ❤️
i’d love to grab one of these
Why is the air shock piggyback reservoir rotated?
Looks like it was to not interfere with the downtube and where they wanted it mated to the BB shell.
As @MonsterChuck said, its to not get in the way of the downtube. By rotating it we are able to have a tighter bend from the BB into the downtube which is stronger as well as gives more front wheel to downtube clearance on the smaller sizes.
Mr Mulally, are you using bearings where the shock mounts to the rocker? Or is it a bushing?
@@kingflynxi9420 we use a 30mm top shock hardware so that you can run the eyelet bearing from either Fox or Rockshox but we typically just run the bushings.
If I had the skill to actually put that frame to use I'd be on that in a heart beat. I'd sell my Fezzari and smile the whole time I'm doing it.
Same here
Fuck yeah Neko
Sick
🔥🔥🔥

What shock pump lets you adjust 1-2psi? Feel like I lose 5-10psi every time I disconnect pump 😂
The reason for the long collar on the shock pump connector is so the valve closes before the seal breaks between the pump and the fork ...
Smith's, OBD F series, raw aluminum. 'MERKIN MADE. Except for the smith's but still...
Yeaaaaa 🔥🔥
sick
Dayum.
That frame would look suhweet polished with internal cables.
Was this filmed at Windrock?
need one Daddy Rick. MTB NC Frameworks Media 🤞😮💨
Would have been nice if the mid frame was bigger for water bottles that were larger or for ebike conversions
Fuerza 😁🤟🍀🔥💯🇲🇽*";...
External cable routing! BSA Threaded BBs! Tell me you know your market without telling me you KNOW your market!
Why is the shock upside down sideways in the bike?
The piggyback is on the bottom so that there is less moving weight which can increase sensitivity on small bumps. And its rotated to the side for more clearance between the front wheel and the downtube on the smaller sized frames.
Fuk this was good
So what’s soo good about this bike ?
Link?
"I love the smiths"
sssiiiiickkkk
Can I marry this bike pls ?
Just a Raaw Madonna that costs $1,500 more

Buy a lapierre then. Nico Vuilloz is personally involved in the r&d process of the overvolt GLP and Spicy.
Cool but $4000 is cringe
Well it’s ugly…
