Race Car - Fitting a Main Fuse with a Twist

If you replace the standard battery with a lightweight race battery, there's a good chance you will also delete the main fuse. This video shows how to install a Durite MEGA 250A fuse in the main feed from the battery, and then outlines the reason why you may not need a main fuse in your race car.

I think rivnuts would suit this install much better ? This in case one does need to install the fuse, of course 😉

Yeah, that would be a good idea. I'd still recommend dropping the underfloor tray while you're fitting it.
