I actually think this would have been an excellent sequel if it took place on the college campus. Like maybe they could have gave Julie more new friends and have them decide to be the only ones to stay there on break and be the only ones wandering campus freely before the killer starts to stalk them and maybe expose their secrets about one another. Idk🤷
I think it's because schools are cliché they didn't want to do that; however, that should have been the setting. Also makes no sense that Ray was able to travel the Bahamas in such a short time on boat to reach them in time.

Honestly I like this film. It knows what it is; an inferior sequel that doesn’t live up to its predecessor, but instead of going “eh whatever”, the film just runs with it and for me does a decent job.
Right a sequel you don't feel guilty watching compared to other sequels.

3:06 "...best Cinderella, Brandy..." HECK YEAH. That's the first version of Cinderella my nephew and nieces were ever introduced to, because I LOVE it. She's fantastic, the movie is fantastic, and the kiddos love it.
(Although I also love Gemma Craven in "The Slipper and the Rose"- which doesn't get enough love- as well as Drew Barrymore in "Ever After." Brandy is my favorite "Rodgers and Hammerstein" Cinderella, though, and leagues ahead of Disney's Cinderellas.)
Brandy will forever be the best Cinderella. Such a magical and timeless film with the best soundtrack.

As someone who absolutely hates being scared and actually gets nightmares despite being 27 years old, watching it through your unbelievably positive and happy tone actually allows me to take in some of the horror content I wish I could watch without any negatives. The kill count is my favorite.
